Murphy and the rest of the Dems have no logical plan for Ukraine. They can only insist that somehow Trump Must Be Wrong. That is not a winning message.

I believe most, if not all DemoRat politicians have a vested interest in maintaining the Ukraine - Russia war. I believe that they skim a lot of the money that is putatively sent to Ukraine to line their pockets, and if the war ends, the graft ends. And, let us not forget that Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world.

If you want to understand why last Friday’s Oval Office press conference between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky went off the rails, ignore most of what you are seeing in the corporate media. Anyone watching a video of the entire event, instead of the deceptively edited clips featured on most “news” sites, will see that neither the President nor the Vice President “ambushed” Zelensky. The first 39 minutes of the meeting were unremarkable, with President Trump attempting to be cordial despite the Ukrainian president’s Marvel Comics costume and pugnacious comportment.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy broke one of the cardinal rules of diplomacy today: Never introduce a surprise in a high-stakes meeting. This principle is sacrosanct among leaders, particularly when navigating complex international relationships. Yet, Zelenskyy employed a risky gambit, attempting to leverage media influence to strengthen his negotiating position with the nation that has already provided his country with $183 billion in aid. At the outset of a press conference intended to pave the way for a formal agreement, Zelenskyy seized upon a reporter’s question

Well, well, well. The Democrats are trying to sell the narrative that there is a vast number of voters who regret voting for Trump, and indeed there is a poll here or there that supports that Narrative™. Pick your poison. All the way from Trump +9 to Trump -8. (Snip for chart)The problem is that many of these same polls led you to believe that Kamala Harris was going to win. In one of those "now it can be told" revelations after the election, it was even revealed that Kamala Harris' own internal polls never--not once--showed her pulling ahead.

Legendary actor and two-time Oscar winner Gene Hackman and his wife, classical pianist Betsy Arakawa, were found dead Wednesday afternoon at their home in the Santa Fe Summit community northeast of the city. Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed shortly after midnight Thursday that the couple had passed away along with their dog. While Mendoza did not disclose a cause of death or specify when they might have died, he stated in an interview that there were no immediate signs of foul play. Immediate speculation centered around the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning, but a new report indicates that authorities are investigating their deaths as "suspicious."

The world is in flux. Our much-discussed national vibe shift suggests that Americans are beginning to feel the change, but it understates what’s happening by a very large margin. What we’re experiencing is of global significance: the dawn of a new era. Between 1989 and 1991, the Communist bloc collapsed. The United States stood bestride the world, history’s first truly global hegemon. Perhaps unsurprisingly in retrospect, that dominance wreaked havoc on our national psyche. The most popular idea of that moment, summarized in Francis Fukuyama’s provocative title, “The End of History,” shaped

Apple plans to open a new factory for artificial intelligence servers in Texas as part of a $500 billion investment in the U.S., the company said Monday. The U.S. technology giant said it would work with partners to launch a 250,000-square-foot server manufacturing facility in Houston to produce servers for Apple Intelligence, its AI personal assistant for iPhone, iPad and Mac computers. The new factory, which is slated to begin operations in 2026, will form part of a major investment plan Apple is committing to over the next four years.

It was hardly necessary to consult the Delphic Oracle to learn that the Department of Government Efficiency was destined to be extremely unpopular with federal bureaucrats. Nor was it difficult to predict that their collective response would be clueless and hopelessly inept. Nonetheless, even the most cynical observer of bureaucratic bumbling will be taken aback by an amateurish website called “We the Builders.” It was created to provide a space for anonymous government apparatchiks to whine about the depredations of DOGE, which the main page describes thus: “They are destroyers.”

The FBI took that DNA and compared it to DNA on some publicly available database and found a familial match which directed them to Kohberger. Subsequently, they tracked his movements as he drove to his families home in Pennsylvania where they took trash

President Donald Trump is well known for his America First agenda. Some have interpreted this as an isolationist stance of retreat from the world stage. If anything, the first few weeks have shown an energetic engagement on foreign policy. America First hasn’t meant disengagement with the world. Rather, it has meant taking seriously American foundational principles and believing those are core values that other nations will look up to when demonstrated proudly. One of those fundamental American principles is free speech, and the Trump administration is making sure that the world sees America vigorously fighting for it.

Imagine working at a large company like Exxon Mobil and being told that an audit was underway. Managers would be busy justifying spending and personnel and how they were enabling the company to prosper. If the auditor found that someone had deliberately hidden or misclassified expenditures for personal gain or ideological reasons, company lawyers would not call it merely “waste” or “mismanagement.” They would call it “theft” or perhaps “embezzlement,” and they would call the authorities.

White House press briefings are often tedious affairs, but sometimes a reporter will ask a question so inane that it provides comic relief. On Jan. 29, for example, the Washington Examiner’s Christian Datoc put this howler to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt: “Egg prices have skyrocketed since President Trump took office. So, what specifically is he doing to lower those costs for Americans?” The average price of a dozen eggs escalated from $1.47 to $4.95 during former President Biden’s term

Already, the Trump administration has shut down the open border with Mexico, something Biden refused to do. Trump and DOGE has save the American taxpayer billions of dollars lost by previous administrations. Trump continues to eliminate waste and fraud in government. And, this week, President Trump cut funding to the unending War in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Democrats continue to flounder with policies that are insane and unpopular. Two FBI stories broke Monday, and they very well may be connected. First, the New York Field Office’s top agent, James Dennehy, resigned, claiming that he had been told he’d be fired if he didn’t. Second, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Bureau had dropped off a “truckload” of Jeffrey Epstein files after she’d set a hard deadline for their turnover. Coincidence? As we reported, Bondi had promised to deliver the potential bombshell files, which she did to select independent conservative media influencers Thursday, but things didn’t necessarily go as planned. That means they see the clips of Democrats appearing on the broadcast networks, MSNBC, and the like, and if they are perceptive, they've probably noticed something. Namely, that certain former "fresh faces" of the Democratic Party aren't so fresh anymore. For context, it's been weeks since there's been an article on RedState covering something Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said. That would have been unheard of a few years ago, but guess who has had five articles written about her since then? That would be Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX).

Anybody who watched the entire Oval Office meeting between President Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky would know that it was not an “ambush” or a “setup” by Trump, as characterized by Democrats and malign media entities. It was the opposite. If anyone came to that meeting in bad faith, it was clearly Zelensky, whose body language and attitude was negative from the start. Trump could not have been more cordial, having steered the complex negotiations with Russia and Ukraine to a first step where he believed peace was a real possibility. But Zelensky had other ideas. He contradicted, interrupted and insulted Trump, even
