Dozens of Democratic congresswomen are planning to wear pink to President Donald Trump’s Joint Address to Congress on Tuesday night as part of a coordinated protest against the President’s policies. New Mexico Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández, who chairs the Democratic Women’s Caucus, confirmed exclusively to TIME on Monday that the pink attire is meant to “signal our protest of Trump's policies which are negatively impacting women and families.” “Pink is a color of power and protest,” she says in an interview. “It’s time to rev up the opposition and come at Trump loud and clear.” Trump’s return to the Capitol

Comments:

One stupid stunt after another. One year they wore pink ''P'' hats and it didn't help their cassus belli.

Sounds kind of like being in high school. Wish Trump could come up with something to say to them that would let them know how childish and stupid it makes them look. Probably best that he just ignores them. Nothing has been as childish though as Pelousi tearing up his speech that year. That should have been a huge embarrassment for all Democrats.

Just like Madeleine Albright and her stupid brooches. She thought she was sending a message, but no one cared. Powerful people don't notice or pay attention to stupid "symbolic" gestures like that. The only thing Trump will notice is if they're properly attired for the occasion, not the color of what they wear. If they really wanted to irk him, they'd all show up in track suits like Zelensky.

Why are they showing up in pink? Surely they're not trying to show solidarity with American women! Female athletes have lost teeth, vision, privacy, and scholarships to unimpressive male athletes who have inflicted serious injuries upon them. The ladies in pink don't stand up for our girls, although they've had years to do it, so it's hard to understand why anyone would think they care at all about America's own daughters. Our female athletes are unsafe with male competitors, and politicians wearing pink only emphasizes they've done nothing to protect them. Irresponsible leaders aren't serving Americans. They're just serving themselves, just like Joe Biden did.

Two FBI stories broke Monday, and they very well may be connected. First, the New York Field Office’s top agent, James Dennehy, resigned, claiming that he had been told he’d be fired if he didn’t. Second, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Bureau had dropped off a “truckload” of Jeffrey Epstein files after she’d set a hard deadline for their turnover. Coincidence? As we reported, Bondi had promised to deliver the potential bombshell files, which she did to select independent conservative media influencers Thursday, but things didn’t necessarily go as planned. The files were heavily redacted and

Former NBC "Meet the Press" anchor Chuck Todd delivered a brutal opinion about former President Biden, calling him a "craven political animal" who was more concerned about his political career than his own family. During an appearance Sunday on Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt's "The Warning" podcast, Todd delved into why the Democrats lost the 2024 election and what he perceives as the media's relationship with the second Trump administration. After decrying older politicians remaining in the leadership of the Democratic Party, Todd returned to Biden's role in the November election loss.

President Donald Trump was “actively trying to destroy” the United States because it’s possible he “hates” the country. When asked how Democrats should react to Trump’s upcoming speech, Carville said, “This man is actively trying to destroy the United States, and I think we ought to treat this moment with real gravitas. I think we’ve got a very good selection in Senator Slotkin to deliver the rebuttal. But my advice is either don’t go or go and sit on your hands and look grim, because the country is in a grim position right now. I hope the Democrats act like that.”

While I don't expect many people reading this article to be purveyors of the legacy media, most are probably on social media. That means they see the clips of Democrats appearing on the broadcast networks, MSNBC, and the like, and if they are perceptive, they've probably noticed something. Namely, that certain former "fresh faces" of the Democratic Party aren't so fresh anymore. For context, it's been weeks since there's been an article on RedState covering something Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) said. That would have been unheard of a few years ago, but guess who has had five articles written about her since then? That would be Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX).

Schreiner won the race after his opponents, Anna Vidolova, 17, and Amaris Hiatt, 16, did not compete.

The top FBI agent in New York was ousted Monday, saying he wasn’t given any explanation for the decision from Washington. James Dennehy, a US Marine Corps veteran who joined the bureau after the Sept. 11 attacks, announced his forced resignation in a letter to staffers at the FBI’s New York Field Office. “Late Friday, I was informed that I needed to put my retirement papers in today, which I just did. I was not given a reason for this decision,” he wrote in the missive, obtained by The Post. Dennehy apologized for the abruptness of his resignation in the

China is reportedly working on a massive nuclear powered aircraft carrier to rival or potentially surpass the United States’ largest carrier. Satellite imagery studied by analysts speaking with NBC News revealed that the Chinese Navy is working on a new ship which will allow fighter jets to be launched from four different areas of the flight deck, which is unlike anything in the current Chinese fleet. “We think this is them testing equipment and layouts for the upcoming Type 04 carrier,” stated James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies researcher Michael Duitsman. China already claims the throne as the world’s largest navy,
