A hot mic moment has sparked controversy as Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was caught on tape suggesting that President Donald Trump is "serious about annexing Canada." The candid remark, made during a private conversation, has raised eyebrows and sparked debate, with some questioning whether Trudeau was joking or expressing genuine concern over the future of U.S.-Canada relations. On Friday, Trudeau was caught saying he thinks Trump is serious about making Canada the 51st U.S. state.

In the renewed vigor of the Oval Office, President Trump doesn’t take meetings in the traditional sense, where one guest leaves before another departs.
Instead, in gregarious fashion, the president rolls one meeting into another and introduces the principals to each other, creating a burst of high-energy chemistry and humor that has transformed the White House from a mausoleum into a symphony of personal interaction.
He has shaken so many hands that the back of his right hand is almost permanently adorned with a large skin-colored Band-Aid to cover bruises and scratches from enthusiastic well-wishers.
His days start at 6 a,m, and often end close to midnight over small convivial dinners

Ric Grenell, President Donald Trump’s Envoy for Special Missions, slammed Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass’s (D) fire “recovery czar” for his large three-month salary of $500,000 paid by charity groups.
Bass announced former L.A. police commissioner Steve Soboroff as the head of the rebuilding efforts following the devastating fires that destroyed homes and businesses and claimed at least 29 lives over a three-week period. Soboroff will be “paid $500,000 over three months, with funding coming from charitable groups,” the Los Angeles Times reported. Fox News' Jennifer Griffin has stepped in it again, and this time she earned a rebuke from newly-minted Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
For several years, it's been obvious that the Pentagon reporter has had it out for the modern iteration of the Republican Party. Feel free to speculate as to exactly why, but it seems to revolve around the fact that the Obama and Biden administrations were, for all intents and purposes, simply neoconservative cut-outs. A simple glance at her reporting makes it clear that Griffin believes the status quo first established under President George W. Bush is unassailable, and any attempts to change it cause her great consternation.

President Donald Trump issued an executive order Friday “to assess any ongoing infringements” of the right to keep and bear arms.
The order began by stating the purpose and importance of the Second Amendment: The Second Amendment is an indispensable safeguard of security and liberty. It has preserved the right of the American people to protect ourselves, our families, and our freedoms since the founding of our great Nation. Because it is foundational to maintaining all other rights held by Americans, the right to keep and bear arms must not be infringed.
The order then makes clear that President Trump wants an assessment of any infringements

President Trump has ordered security clearances stripped from a new hit list of antagonists.
Just days after revoking Joe Biden’s access to classified information and secure federal buildings — “because I don’t trust him” — Trump said his new top target is ex-Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who orchestrated the “Dirty 51” letter from former intelligence officials on the eve of the 2020 election.
The infamous missive falsely claimed that Hunter Biden’s laptop, the contents of which The Post revealed, was Russian disinformation.
Blinken’s security clearances will be revoked, following the same presidential directive aimed at Biden and the 51 ex-spooks last week, Trump told The Post in an exclusive interview.

Europe is still reeling from the startling, surprising move by US President Donald J. Trump to deploy a diplomatic offensive coupled with economic sanction threats to purchase or otherwise seize the Danish island of Greenland.
Once Trump refused to rule out using the military to take control of the Arctic territory, there was widespread panic, and the Denmark Kingdom reportedly went into crisis mode.
Now it arises that some Nato countries are secretly discussing deploying troops to Greenland after Trump declared that it would be an ‘unfriendly act’ for Copenhagen to refuse to give up the island.
Germany was allegedly among the many European allies

The radical left judiciary continues to sabotage the Trump Administration’s efforts to drain the swamp.
CNN reported on Saturday that a federal judge halted Elon Musk’s government efficiency team from accessing a critical Treasury Department. US District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer, who Barack Obama appointed, cited a risk of “irreparable harm.”
The order temporarily stops access to a sensitive payment system that distributes Americans’ tax returns, Social Security benefits, disability payments, and federal employees’ salaries.
Moreover, Engelmeyer ordered the destruction of any downloaded information from the payment system by anyone given access to it since January 20, the date Trump was inaugurated.

The Trump Administration’s dismantling of the noxious, corrupt money pit USAID continues to produce both exciting and infuriating headlines as the days go by. But one piece of lovely news that has emerged should remind us of the joy of liberal tears.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, USAID has been in the crosshairs for the past week, given the billions of dollars of waste exposed by DOGE. Some of the examples exposed have been absolutely stunning.
In one instance, the agency funneled $5 billion in 2014 to ignite riots in Ukraine, according to RFK Jr.
On the plus side, online footage has emerged showing signs are being covered up and taken down,

President Trump’s reaction to Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and her fellow Democrats’ attempt to storm the Department of Education building on Friday morning did not disappoint.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, footage emerged Friday morning showing Democrats led by Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) trying to barge their way into the Department of Education building in their latest pathetic publicity stunt following other protests earlier this week.
As TGP readers know, the Trump White House on Tuesday drafted an executive order to abolish the Department of Education, a significant campaign promise by President Trump.
After officers refused to let them in, Democrats immediately melted down and began bullying the guards.

Does President Donald J. Trump ever sleep? It’s refreshing since we had a non-president take naps 24/7 and let his staff push policy, legal or not. The decay and corruption of Joe Biden are being swept away. Trump is working so fast that he seems to have time to make sweeping changes to DC’s cultural scene. Besides nixing Joe Biden’s security clearance yesterday, he installed himself as chairman of the Kennedy Center Board of Directors (via Fox News):
