“Sir, why did you pause LNG exports to Europe?” the speaker asked. “I didn’t do that,” Biden replied. He had, three weeks earlier—but he wasn’t aware of what he’d signed. The Republican speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, has had a front-row seat to the intellectual decline of Joe Biden. On Friday, in an interview with Bari Weiss for Honestly, Johnson shared an anecdote that demonstrated just how checked out the outgoing president has been. During the third week of January 2024, Johnson was invited to a meeting at the Oval Office with several of Biden’s top national security advisers and cabinet chiefs.

That's the first time you realized it? Really?

Evidently, Mike Johnson is slow on the uptick. The average American could see 2-3 years ago that Biden was nowhere near the center of decision-making in "his" administration. They built fake oval offices and other sets for telecasts; probably where Biden spent a good deal of his time.

I believe that Biden did not know that he halted LNG exports of the ramifications of doing so. I'm sure one of his inner circle far leftists wrote the executive order and then told Biden it was to study the effects of LNG on Climate Change not that it was to halt LNG sales. Biden had become a true believer in the Climate Change cult and because he is too stupid to actually listen to scientific arguments against it being an "existential threat", all they had to do was tell him the executive order was to save the planet. Unfortunately a large percentage of the Democrat party is just as stupid and like Pavlov's dogs they start shaking and gnashing their teeth as soon as they hear that something is causing Climate Change. Witness the reaction of much of the Democrats to the wildfires in CA. All Gavin Loathsome has to do is say the words Climate Change and Existential Threat to the planet and he changes the focus from His and the Democrats incompetence to the evilness of fossil fuels.

The political party that claims to be 'defending democracy' has nothing but contempt for the voters. They exploited a global health crisis and a compliant national press corps to elect a non compos mentis figurehead to act as their puppet. An unelected cabal of plotters has been making the actual decisions over the last four years. This needs to be investigated and whoever is involved in the cover-up and subversion of the executive branch of the government needs to go to prison. A court needs to forcer Biden to take a cognitive test and if he fails it all his last minute pardons and imperial proclamations need to be legally nullified.

Nobody in D.C. was aware of Biteme's mental decline until 2024? Are they going to stick with that story, because it was evident to unwashed years before that Biteme was a puppet and didn't know what was going on. The only issue to the great unwashed was who was running the country from day one.

Duh! Biden has been senile during his whole presidency. He is just MORE senile now. Senile people are incapable of managing their OWN affairs, let alone those of the Country. This is exactly what the 25th amendment is there for, presidential incapacity. Of course, invoking it right after Biden was elected would have been a huge mess for the dems and promoting Cabbage Head Kamala to the presidency might have been worse than a senile Biden. But for Johnson to, just now, claim he has become aware of Biden's status of non compos mentis is absurd. The reason he is willing to admit it now is because everyone else already KNOWS it. Way to lead from behind, Mike. What else has happened in the last 4 years that you are clueless about because it is more convenient for you?

Mike Johnson's duty to American citizens and the Constitution, immediately after leaving that meeting, was to call a press conference and tell exactly what happened to the entire world! We have a RIGHT to know who is running the country. Huge disappointment here. He is supposed to be a man of integrity. A man of conscience. Someone who takes his oath of office as sacred. And he FAILED us. If we can't count on someone like him, how can we expect anything but corruption and duplicity by others? Democrats especially are totally lacking in anything resembling a sense of ethics, duty, honor, or even shame.

Five mental health professionals, some of whom already accused Donald Trump of being “dangerous,” prepared a risk assessment for New York state Judge Juan Merchan to consider in his July 11 sentencing decision on Trump, according to forensic psychiatrist Dr. Bandy X. Lee, a longtime critic of the former president. It isn’t clear whether all five are psychiatrists or may have other training. The goal is to get the Starliner onto the International Space Station for a one-week stay. Then, it will return to Earth and certify its end-to-end capabilities. This time, NASA found one of its four computers operating the launch was lagging behind the others. As all four computers are meant to perform the same function — a delay in one signals a problem.

Chattanooga, Tennessee, is known as “Gig City,” not for its many live music venues, but for its role as the first city in the Western Hemisphere to offer 1 gigabit-per-second fiber internet service to residents and businesses, an honor that it claimed in 2010. In 2024, Chattanooga has come to be representative of a different movement—the labor movement in the South. An overwhelming vote by the city’s Volkswagen employees on April 19 to join the United Auto Workers (UAW) union was the first crack in a decades-long barrier holding back the labor movement south of the Mason-Dixon Line.
