The driver of the Tesla Cybertruck who was killed when the vehicle blew up outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas has been identified as a Colorado resident and Army veteran.
Law enforcement sources confirmed to The Post that Matthew Livelsberger, 37, rented the electric pickup truck that went up in flames New Year’s Day in the valet area of the hotel.
Livelsberger was behind the wheel of the Tesla truck, which was packed with fireworks-style mortars, camping fuel and canisters, during the explosion, News5 reported early Thursday, citing law enforcement sources.

The deadly New Orleans terror attack and the Cybertruck explosion outside the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas on New Year’s Day have at least one connection — the car sharing app Turo.
While officials have indicated that they have no evidence so far that the two incidents may be linked, investigators have determined the pickup truck used by a terrorist on Bourbon Street and the exploding Tesla truck were both procured using Turo.
Turo is a platform that allows users to rent vehicles from trusted hosts that are registered with the site.

After the Georgia Court of Appeals disqualified Fulton County, Ga., District Attorney Fani Willis from prosecuting her grandstanding Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) case against Donald Trump, she is appealing the decision to the Georgia Supreme Court. One state official is publicly calling out this decision. Attorney General Chris Carr, a Republican, took to X to criticize Willis’ appeal.
