The Left’s response to the Daniel Penny

I cheered when I heard that Marine veteran Daniel Penny had been found not guilty. And I felt shocked and saddened when I saw the footage of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson being executed in the middle of Manhattan. Those two reactions would surely be the correct and appropriate ones for anyone with an ounce of fairness and humanity in their heart. Penny risked his own safety on the crime-ravaged New York subway to prevent a dangerous, mentally ill, homeless man with a lengthy rap sheet of violence from carrying out his ranting threat to kill someone. For six minutes, he

Piers Morgan is here stating what used to be obvious common knowledge. Anyone with two working brain cells knows that his take on these cases is spot on. Yet, a growing percentage of this formerly God fearing country has become cross eyed. Rush Limbaugh, bless his soul forever, always commented that the left turned everything topsy-turvy where left was right and up was down. America is the greatest country in the world. That is just common sense. But I am thinking that the blessings of free speech we all share has allowed a suppurating discharge of poisonous hate and venom to infect the body politic. If the wound is left untreated and festers, we may all be lost. Praying that the incoming administration can somehow staunch the wound.

#2 It is chilling to know that Obama was re-elected even after it was known what his intentions were with this country. Half of this country hates living here? It would save we of the other half a lot of grief if they would just move to where they are more comfortable living under progressive-ism and communism.

We need to get rid of the euphemisms and start calling things what they are according to biblical standards. Hypocrisy is not a sickness. It is evil. Evil has been redefined as good, and good as evil, largely because of man’s use of euphemisms to try and justify deeds that Holy Scripture condemns as evil and abominable to God. “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

NEW YORK — Jurors asked Wednesday to review police and bystander video at the heart of the chokehold manslaughter case against Daniel Penny as his lawyers complained that an aggressive protester was harassing the Marine veteran outside the New York City courthouse. Within about an hour of starting a second day of deliberations, the anonymous jury sought a second look at videos captured by the body cameras of officers who responded to the subway car where Penny grabbed hold of Jordan Neely, an agitated man whose behavior and words were frightening passengers. But this does seem like a good occasion to reflect on what has changed over these past 25 years. What strikes me, looking back, is how optimistic many people, both here and in much of the Western world, were back then and the extent to which that optimism has been replaced by anger and resentment. And I’m not just talking about members of the working class who feel betrayed by elites;
