Donald Trump is on course to assemble the richest cabinet in American history, with a number of billionaires sending its total net worth soaring over $9 billion - not even including Elon Musk.
While Musk will serve in an unofficial capacity focused on slashing government waste and therefore will not need Senate approval, those that will are set to break records.
The previous mark was unsurprisingly set by Trump in 2016 when his first cabinet boasted a combined net worth of $6 billion.

Fine with me. They are less likely to have their head turned with a bribe.

Well, most democrats don’t have any money until they get elected and can steal it.

So what? Elon worked very hard and still does. Being rich does not make one evil.

If putting highly intelligent and wealthy entrepeneurs in the Cabinet is bad, would doing the opposite be good? If so, by all means go pick a few dozen homeless drug addicts out of a gutter in Portland. I'm sure they'll make the best decisions.

What's next from the Daily Mail rag? Staggering amount of clothes owned by the Trump nominees? Unbelievable number of automobiles? Exotic pets? Luxurious homes? Does any of the DM drivel have anything to do with the qualifications of the Trump cabinet? What a total waste of time.

Fine by me. They aren’t looking to get rich from government service. Makes them harder to bribe.
Career grifters like the Biden’s and Clintons and Obama’s are most of our problem.

I will happily support administrators who understand how business, finance, commerce and employment work as opposed to pseudo-intellectuals who build sand castles in the sky and who lie and commit fraud constantly to justify their phony baloney careers.

I remember back when Trump was part of a gaggle of men who were thinking about running for President, and I wrote on Lucianne that "what we need is someone who can't be bought", and I did not know enough about Donald Trump then to reaiize I was talking about him. Look how our national debt is so high because our budget if full of totally useless things that lobbyists push only to benefit their own clients; look how so much of our manufacturing has been shipped over to China, leaving our heartland full of unemployed people and decaying towns and cities; look how there are again so many people who want war more than they want peace because they choose to benefit the military/industrial complex that makes big bucks with war machines. Way too many people in our government can be, and are bought off, and you can see and feel the decline in our nation because of their greed. We already have way too many people in our government who are bought. We need more men who love our country and can't be bought.

Rich people that know how to earn their own money are preferable to freaks that don't know which bathroom to use, and like to pretend they're women, when they're not!

I would like to see an article that lists all of the people who have held the office of President and the office of Vice-President, their wealth just before they entered office, and their wealth a couple of years after the left office.

I won't even waste my time reading this tripe. It's nothing but economic jealousy by the Left. They have a problem with someone earning their money, instead of stealing it from the taxpayer.

One thing about that fact is we don't have to worry about those people aren't being in those positions for the money. They don't need any.
