The nomination of former Florida AG Pam Bondi for the position of U.S. Attorney General is a big mistake; not for the corrupt background of Bondi that we presume President Trump is not aware of, but rather for the background of Pam Bondi the Deep Swamp is almost certainly aware of.
Within the background story of state AG corruption and unlawful activity, Pam Bondi is very easily leveraged, blackmailed and controlled.
I presume at this writing that President Donald Trump is completely unaware of what Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi did during her time in office.

ondi was eyebrows deep in Ben
Crump's efforts to go after George Zimmerman after he shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense. Sickening.
Sundance, a native and lifelong Floridian, knows the territory and was the only one rto accurately document the Trayvon Martin case in real time.

Is there a summary? After reading a while i had no idea where it was going. Did she help railroad Zimmerman?

OK, well then, I am wondering how President Trumps team did not find this during their vetting of possible candidates? I am also wondering if President Trump will be informed of these facts and allegations? I remember when Wray and Barr were appointed with similar Deep State associations and yet they went into office anyway. Seems Bondi is also on a fast track to AG.

The swamp is praising her. Thats all I need to know. What seemed like a good pick is now looking not so good. Trump has been snookered again.
So much for the Epstein files.

Doesn't look good. Maybe Trump should look outside of Florida.

I live in Florida, watched every day of the Trayvon/Zimmerman Trial. I have also watched Pam Bondi work on all things Florida. I think she's great and she would absolutely have my Vote. How many of Trump's Picks are going to be taken down? First Matt, next they are going to go after Pete and now Pam Bondi. Enough! Trump knows what he's doing! Nobody is perfect!

Who from the swamp is liking her? I have not seen or heard that and read a wide swath of news and use lots of sources. Left and right.

I have heard all I want about Trayvon, Obama's son. As for Bondi, we need an aggressive "firebrand" like Gaetz. My disappointment has not been assuaged.

Oh boy, I admit I cheered yesterday at the news of Bondi’s nomination. This in reality is a bad sign Trump being advised and going along with traditional way potus-elect is SUPPOSED to pick top Cabinet. Marco Rubio already swamp monster for SOS. Big boo-boo, just my opinion. The establishment can’t wait to give him fawning hearings.
Bondi is way cozy close with Bushes. AG must be his most superior choice for the MAGA agenda. Bondi is nowhere near a Gaetz. She is deeply entrenched in DC swamp.
No no no Bondi.

I’m sad to say that it looks like business as usual in The Swamp: Rubio, Dr. Oz, and now Pam Bondi. What in the hell did we fight so hard for?

I knew there was something in her background that made me uneasy just could not remember. An investigative documentary film maker did a full work up on the Zimmerman episode. I think his last name is Gilbert.

I turned as soon as Lindsey Graham ecstatically supported her. That alone should have given Trump pause.

Far too many prosecutors, DA's, AG's, realize they need to gain recognition and notoriety by prosecuting a "big case" even if they need to manufacture the truth and evidence, it seems.
Believe Mueller did something similar in Boston area where he allowed an innocent person to die in jail simply to protect his informant (Whitey Bulger).
Lawyers are held to a higher level of understanding and scrutiny since they are expected to KNOW the law and not able to claim ignorance. At least that's how it's supposed to work.
It was interesting to read how "they system" was able to simply get the target they wanted and it was added and abetted by the prosecution and the defense lawyers.
Was nice to see the police were actually standing their ground but relieved of any involvement due to it being an inconvenience to the desire to obtain a promotion and monetary settlement.
Most would see that as fraud and grounds for disbarment.

Bondi appointed the totally evil special prosecutor, Angela Corey. I was not previously aware of this. Corey was a vicious, unfair, hateful, brutal, and lying witch during this trial. Fairness and justice was clearly of zero interest to this evil person.
If Bondi was responsible for that.....she is not a good person. And if it is true the evil, hateful, racist, corrupt, money grubbing Ben Crump is a friend of Bondi (I don't know if this is true) than that is another huge black mark against her.
Sundance used to always be someone I trust, and he knows this particular topic very well, but some of his reporting recently has been very warped, from my view, so I'll listen to what he says, and trust most of it.....but like Reagan, best to verify.

#17 your skepticism is appropriate. Sundance and Jim Hoft are two of a kind - often wrong but never in doubt.

I was off-the-charts happy about this yesterday. Needless to say, I'm questioning my judgment. But more so, I'm questioning the judgment of Pres. Trump's advisors. WTH?

(CBS) SANFORD, Fla. -- Florida Gov. Rick Scott and Attorney General Pam Bondi have appointed a special prosecutor to investigate the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, removing the state attorney who had been considering the case.

The Orlando Sentinel reports Scott and Bondi appointed State Attorney Angela B. Corey, whose office handles cases in Duval, Clay and Nassau counties.

Sheesh, Donald Trump is bringing on board the people who he thinks can turn America around and given the comments, you would think voters here on this thread are disappointed in voting for him. Well, did you hear his message throughout his campaign? He wants to be a leader to ALL Americans not just a selective base. America First. He wants health and safety for all. . .

I'm sorry, but I've always thought she's too pretty to be all that good.
(Girls/women with "gifted looks" often find it much easier to rely on a coy smile than to work really hard, like those "less pretty" ones must do.)
Additionally, look no further than her marital history to find her "off the record" temperament and ability to coexist. As an example of a jurist who would one day possibly be a great U.S. SCJ, and that is Wisconsin Judge Jennifer Dorow, who tried the infamous Waukesha Christmas parade murderer. Judge Dorow is a smart, hard working, wife, mother, etc. A super-mom and a super-woman. Thus far I don't see those traits in Pam (the 'cable beach babe') Bondi.
As for me, give me an old grizzled Federal prosecutor, like Edwin Meese, over a "pretty face," any day.

Well, if his vetters are 30- to 40-year-olds of course they're not going to be aware of the Trayvon He Could Be My Son Martin case. But we here know it very well and have not forgotten the odious Angela Corey. This case was Obama's first foray into ruining America, with Michael Brown coming not too long after.

Wondered how long it would be before someone...in this case...the treehouse would try and cast doubts about Bondi...she has been at President Trump's side though the impeachment times...she has worked along his side through 2020 and 2024...she is a wealth of legal knowledge and best of all Allan Dershowitz of Harvard thinks she is very legally knowledgeable...that's good for me...and I've listened to her on Newsmax for years.....

Man. I thought she was on the up and up from what little I'd read of her being Florida's AG. It either blew past me or I didn't pick up on it that she was friends with race hustler Crump. That blackmail angle from everyone behind the scenes and in-the-know is what will turn her into a squish, kind of like Roberts on the Supreme Court (who literally rewrote Obamacare to get it passed and who's had whispers of just how he adopted his son.)

So he complains that she appointed a special prosecutor in the George Zimmerman case?
It was either do this in state court or George would face a show trial from the Obama DOJ.
To me, this shows she knows the DOJ is corrupt.
Unlike what would have happened in the federal system, Zimmerman got a fair trial and was acquitted.
