Chicago residents are fed up with how the City and its Mayor, Brandon Johnson, have handled staggering crime, budget cuts, a failing school system, and the funneling of funds away from residents to benefit illegals.
They issued a stark warning to the Democrat party last year, and in October, resident Jessica Jackson blasted Democrats at a City Council meeting in a blistering takedown of their decades-long failures in the city.
She also declared, with the support of others in the audience, that she was backing Donald Trump for President.

Trump is adding people to his new team at lightning speed. Most people on the right are overjoyed with the choices that they are seeing, but Democrats and liberal media types are dumbfounded. They just don’t get it.
Enter Victor Davis Hanson.
Hanson is a conservative, a historian, and a scholar. He recently took some time to write an analysis of Trump’s cabinet picks to help explain the thinking here. His explanation is absolutely brilliant, as usual.

Podcaster Joe Rogan suggested this week that President Biden wanted President-elect Trump to win after his party pushed him to drop out of the race in July.
Biden’s smiling face during his meeting with Trump at the White House on Wednesday sparked some speculation that the incumbent was happy to hand over the reins to Trump rather than his replacement on the Democratic ticket, Vice President Kamala Harris.
“Do you know what one of my f******* favorite things of this whole election cycle has been? Yesterday when Biden and Trump sat down in the White House,” Rogan said. “Biden voted for Trump. I guarantee it. I f****** guarantee it.

Finally, someone had the guts to tell off the ladies of The View and their constant attacks on President-elect Donald Trump.
Democrat New York City Mayor Eric Adams told the hosts of The View to “tone it down” regarding their criticism of Trump. The heated exchange began after co-host Sunny Hostin questioned Robert F. Kennedy’s qualifications to serve as the next Department of Health and Human Services secretary in the Trump Administration. “RFK Jr. … RFK Jr. ate some pork, and now he has a brain worm,” Hostin said. “Is he the person that should be in charge of that … of our food?”

“The View” co-host has confirmed she deleted her X account in the wake of Donald Trump’s presidential election win, saying she believes it was a “patriotic” act.
Hostin, 56, made the admission on the “Behind The Table” podcast earlier this week, saying she no longer wants to be associated with the site because it’s owned by avid Trump supporter Elon Musk.
“I think the most patriotic thing I could do right now is just to delete the account,” the avowed Democrat declared.

The re-election of Donald Trump has left many progressives worried about the future of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programming. And with good reason.
Yet, as a head of a school in New York City, I’ve come to recognize an ironic truth: DEI programs, as traditionally practiced, can be divisive, placing students into rigid roles that can drive them apart instead of bringing them together.
Which is why a new approach to diversity is needed, one that avoids the politicized dogma that now defines the DEI landscape.

Since undertaking this initial audit, the Pentagon has consistently failed to pass its subsequent audits, the first of which failed in 2018.

On this very terrain, four years ago, I asserted that we can “never again” allow an election like 2020 to happen. I’m back to say that despite Trump’s near landslide, America’s election system is still broken.
And the time to fix it is immediately, while President Trump has the wind at his back with a Republican Congress and the public on his side.
You most clearly see a broken election system when the margins are extremely tight. We saw it in 2020 when approximately 40,000 votes in key states tipped the election, and not so much in 2024. But rest assured, the public still lacks confidence in the integrity of our elections

The Pentagon on Friday failed its seventh audit in a row, with the nation’s largest government agency still unable to fully account for its more than $824 billion budget, though officials stress they are making good progress toward a clean audit in 2028.
The Department of Defense technically earned a disclaimer of opinion, meaning it failed to provide sufficient information to auditors to form an accurate opinion.
The goal is to earn an unmodified audit opinion, or a clean audit that says the financial statements are accurate. A qualified opinion says there are omissions and concerns but the finances are generally reliable.

[Snip] With America only weeks away from the return of its felon president, the jester business here is about to enter a golden age. His term hasn’t even started and...his first term is echoing through headlines as he made Cabinet appointments and demanded their positions be accepted without confirmation or vetting or well any old nod to how our government works.

On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher stated that “Democrats run for office as if the voters don’t live here, as if they don’t go to the grocery store and Starbucks and the office. But they do. They live here, and they actually see women and people of color, and it doesn’t look like some patriarchal, racist nightmare.” And “The basis for Democratic campaigns has become, we’re the smart people. That we know from the get-go. No need to look into that.” And criticized the “intellectual incest” of the party.
Maher began his closing monologue by stating, “Someone must tell the usual suspects on the far left

For a hundred years, American Jews have overwhelmingly voted for the Democrat candidate. Franklin Roosevelt received about 80% of the Jewish vote each time. This dramatic tilt toward the Democrats continued up through the turn of the century, when they gave Al Gore about 79%. They gave Obama 78% in his first election, and even gave him 69% in his second – after Obama’s antipathy toward Israel became impossible to overlook.
Some of this Jewish support for Democrats is understandable.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign shelled out $2.6 million on private jet travel in the final, dying gasps of her presidential run — bringing her failed campaign’s total tally on the environmentally unfriendly mode of transportation to a staggering $12 million, records show.
As Harris’ team desperately shuttled across the nation to host rallies and coax voter turnout between Oct. 1 and Oct. 17, her campaign ponied up nearly $2.2 million to the south Florida-based company Private Jet Services Group, along with $430,000 to Arlington, Va.-based charter flight broker Advanced Aviation Team, according to Federal Election Commission data.

Senate Minority Whip John Thune, R-S.D., was "adamant" he would carry out President-elect Trump's agenda as leader as he made his case to GOP senators before they selected him to succeed Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., Wednesday.
"I will just say that Sen. Thune said over and over and over and over in this long meeting that he was 100% behind President Trump — 100% behind his agenda," said Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo.
"He was adamant about it." (Photo) Hawley noted that he did not vote for Thune, instead publicly endorsing Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas.
"But I will hold him to that pledge," Hawley said of Thune.

As the contested Pennsylvania Senate race barrels towards a $1 million recount, Democratic officials in a few blue counties are openly admitting to counting disqualified ballots in defiance of state law and court orders.
The Associated Press has called the race for Republican Sen.-elect Dave McCormick, who currently holds a 26,000 vote lead over incumbent Democratic Sen. Bob Casey. But Casey has refused to concede and insisted that every vote be counted. The close margin – within one percentage point – triggered an automatic recount under Pennsylvania law.

Democrats in deep blue states are already drawing up plans to thwart President-elect Donald Trump's attempts to fix illegal immigration in America.
The plan? Simply refusing to enforce the law, according to a New York Times report published on Saturday.
The Times notes that the resistance party is seeking to pivot away from silly protests involving "pink knit caps and homemade signs" and instead will "tune out" the new President when he enters the Oval Office.
"As they face this tough political landscape, Democratic officials, activists and ambitious politicians are seeking to build their second wave of opposition to Mr. Trump from the places that they still control: deep-blue states," they write.

The German government has collapsed and is rapidly heading to snap elections in early 2025, but Chancellor Olaf Scholz has picked this moment to reach out to Russian President Vladimir Putin for the first time in two years to ask him to withdraw his troops from Ukraine.
Olaf Scholz, the German Chancellor who leads the so-called progressive coalition ‘traffic light’ government of social democrats, liberals, and greens and who now faces a February snap election after it collapsed, made a rare telephone call to his Russian counterpart on Friday to ask for the war in Ukraine to end.
Per a German government spokesman, the call lasted for an hour

President-elect Donald Trump's pick for Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has hit back over claims his tattoos are associated with white supremacists.
The veteran responded to an Associated Press story that said he was flagged as a possible 'insider threat' by a fellow service member due to a tattoo on his bicep.
That service member had sent an email to the District of Columbia National Guard over the tattoo which reads 'Deus Vult', claiming it was used by white supremacists.

MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell just didn’t know what to do with Republican Senator from Tennessee Bill Hagerty, after he outlined all the motives and justifications for President Trump to appoint Matt Gaetz for U.S. Attorney General.
Senator Hagerty cites examples of the Main Justice targeting of President Trump from the 2016 campaign all the way through the IC manipulation of the Hunter Biden laptop story in 2020, to the continued use of Lawfare to target President Trump throughout 2024. Of course, that background makes the appointment of Matt Gaetz understandable. WATCH:

OAKLAND, Calif. - A recent poll showed that Vice President Kamala Harris could have a strong advantage if she chooses to run for governor of California in 2026 when Gov. Gavin Newsom’s term ends. The survey, carried out by the University of California, Berkeley's Institute of Governmental Studies and co-sponsored by the Los Angeles Times, indicated that nearly half of the 4,838 participants might support Harris in a potential gubernatorial bid. The Times reported that Harris's support would mostly come from Democratic voters, with 72% indicating they would be very or somewhat likely to back her for governor. In contrast

Liberal women have sworn to go on sex strike over Donald Trump’s election win.
Mr Trump swept to victory in Tuesday’s presidential race that Democrats cast as a referendum on abortion rights and protections for women.
Some women are now threatening to punish men for voting for Trump, taking inspiration from a Korean feminist movement that vows to withhold sex from men in order to redefine the gender power balance.

Future first lady Melania Trump plans to split her time between New York, Florida, and Washington DC during her husband’s second term in office, according to a report from the New York Post. Reportedly, she is doing this “so she can be the hands-on mother to Barron that she is,” a source told the outlet.
“Melania will be the first lady, but only on her terms,” the source said. “She’ll do the big events. But no ladies’ tea and no — or very few — interviews.”
“She views winning as the main show, and the rest she’ll do as she pleases,” the source continued. “She’s really in the driver’s seat

Former Vice President Mike Pence has urged Senate Republicans to reject President-elect Donald Trump’s nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Mike Pence, who famously turned his back on Trump after serving under him during his first term, has now released a scathing statement on Kennedy’s nomination.
Pence, in an ironic twist, called it “deeply concerning” and labeled it a “betrayal” of the pro-life values their administration once stood for.
On Thursday, President Trump announced his decision to appoint Kennedy to the pivotal role,

During his campaign, Donald Trump promised moms like Jackie Medina he would deport millions of illegal immigrants, including criminals like the man who killed her 16-year-old daughter Lizbeth last year.
But can he even do it?
There are an estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S., and Trump has vowed to deport “all” of them. The vast majority aren’t dangerous, and many have lived and worked in the U.S. for years. Does the president-elect really plan to deport such a massive number, even those who don’t pose an immediate threat to society? While border security needs to be tightened,

The Washington Post’s fact checks have by and large been tools of partisan politics. We saw this most notoriously in Oct. 2020, when the Post undercut reports that Hunter Biden arranged what looked to all the world like an influence-peddling meeting between one of his foreign business clients and The Big Guy, that is, his father, who was vice president at the time. The fact that the Post’s “fact checks” are largely designed to intimidate, confuse, and undermine foes of the left’s agenda makes it all the more striking that on Wednesday, the Post’s fact-checking spotlight was shining on none other than Nancy Pelosi,

Only Donald Trump could have pulled off the kind of victory we witnessed just over one week ago. The victory achieved by, and for, the man himself is already the greatest political comeback in American history. But it is entirely possible that his win now could set up an equally unprecedented comeback, but not for any one particular individual. If the Republican Party plays its cards right this time, it could build off of the massive coalition that President Trump has built for himself and ride this wave of momentum to a new era of dominance in American politics.

CNN anchor Chris Wallace was reportedly told his two poorly rated shows would be canceled and his massive salary slashed before the veteran journalist announced he would leave the network.
Wallace, who was being paid a reported $7 million a year, was informed that he was welcome to stay on as an analyst but at a much lower salary as part of CEO Mark Thompson’s vast cost-cutting initiatives, according to Puck News.
Instead, Wallace announced earlier this week that he was exiting CNN, and portrayed the move in a Daily Beast interview as a pivot to podcasting and streaming — because “that’s where the action seems to be,” he said.

Democrats on the Bucks County Board of Commissioners voted to illegally count misdated and undated ballots in an attempt to swing Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate election in favor of ousted Democrat incumbent Sen. Bob Casey, D-Penn.
The vote comes after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court already ruled those ballots were not allowed to be counted, per state law.
Diane Ellis-Marseglia, one of the Democrats, admitted she knew it was against the law, but voted to count the ballots anyway.
“I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country. And people violate laws anytime they want,” she said.

Rudy Giuliani surrendered his vintage Mercedes Benz, dozens of watches and other lavish possessions to the two Georgia election workers he defamed following the 2020 presidential election – in what his rep decried as a “bastardization” of the justice system.
The 80-year-old disbarred lawyer and former New York City mayor relinquished 26 watches, a ring, cash, and a blue 1980 Mercedes convertible once owned by Hollywood icon Lauren Bacall, to the two women who won the $148 million defamation judgment, according to his lawyer.
Giuliani, once fondly known as “America’s Mayor,” was given until Nov. 14 to fork over his assets after missing an Oct. 29 deadline.
