The 2024 Presidential Election Really
Isn't That Close

Original Article

Citing conventional wisdom or an "appeal to authority" will reach out and bite you every time. The proverbial "appeal to authority" in an argument only works when the "authority" is credible. The conventional wisdom that the 2024 presidential race is razor-close is based on polls. Frankly, pollsters themselves are warning us not to trust their work. “There are a lot of sh***y polls out there,” said John Anzalone, who has done polling work for Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama. And, added Greg Strimple, a Republican pollster, many hardcore Donald Trump voters aren't responding to polls at all, especially online polls.

Comments:

I'll bet Dems have put some effort into getting polls right so they will know how much cheating they will have to do.

I know if I ran a polling organization, I could easily achieve the results that I wanted. Some people lie and others are too stupid to give reliable and informed answers. It's all just a money-driven scam.

It is for two good reasons why Trump supporters don't answer polls. One, it really isn't any of their business. And two, if the dems know how many supporters Pres. Trump really has, they'll print more fake ballots by the millions. Let's leave them in the dark.

My wife and I do not participate in any poles. My cell phone will only ring if the call is from someone on my contact list. Our land line does a similar thing. No to online poles as well. We keep up on what is going so we are well informed. We will go out and vote in person. All we want is to be left alone and live peacefully. On average we block fifteen to twenty phone calls a day and easily forty political text message. Delete, delete, delete and so on. We cannot wait till it is over. We are not alone in this. There is a ton of silent warriors like us. Amen

#7 and #8 I agree with you about fake ballots. Also, I think that the typical minority voters aren't answering poll questions is because they are afraid to admit they are joining the MAGA movement because they had better lives under RPDJT than under FJB and FKH.

There is no way to count mail in ballots cast by NGO's, and other vote harvesters, in any poll sample. No allowance is made by these sample tests for illegally cast ballots. The polls are not meant to be real, but to influence the election.

Why would anyone worry about how illegal immigrants vote? They don't need to vote at all. The Dems will simply manufacture ballots for them. I'm going to keep saying it: The Deep State is going to cheat, Kamala-ding-dong is going to win, and we're not going to do a damn thing about it! But, hey, ya'll go ahead and "vote harder" next time! The writer may have a point. I'm seeing signs that this could turn into a 1980 Reagan-Carter race ... close and then Reagan blew it out at the end. Election was called before the polls closed on the west coast. Lots of polls are reporting that Trump is outperforming his 2016 and 2020 performance with many voting groups ... Blacks, Hidpanics, unions, urban, suburban, women, Jews, Catholics, Evangelicals. He may not be winning each of these groups, but ahead of his performance in past elections. I've yet to hear of a group where he's underperforming. Maybe uniparty deep state ant- Trumpers (such as the Cheneys), but I don't think he did well with than group so any more than 10 votes from those folks is a plus.

‘Word salad’ versus ‘the Weave’ 6 replies

One of my main takeaways from the Joe Rogan interview was a greater appreciation for Donald Trump’s unique rhetorical style, which he has recently referred to as “the weave.” It is diametrically opposed to Kamala Harris’s style, which some have described as “word salad” but I prefer to call “vapid filibustering”—vapid because it’s meaningless and filibustering because it’s both incessant and designed to forestall further discussion. With the obviously senile Joe Biden out of the race, the legacy media has taken to implying that Trump’s “meandering” or “rambling” way of speaking somehow shows that he, too, is “losing it.” But (Snip) that is far from the truth.

In a rational world, we would all condemn and despise Nazism. In the same rational world, we would all condemn and despise Communism. You know what would also be despised? Falsely comparing people to Hitler (Snip) We live in one where a third disastrous totalitarian ideology which has killed more people than Nazism and Communism combined and which has been killing people since the 7th century AD is protected and respected. At least 250 million people (some estimates are much higher) have been killed through history as a direct consequence, at the command of, Islam. But that one we are told to respect as a great world religion.

Since the Democrats have not disbanded the criminal wing of their party, we have to assume they are going to try the same tricks they used to ‘fortify’ the 2020/2 elections and then some. Election theft is an anti-story, which is to say, if you are employed by Baghdad Bob, (Sundance’s name for the corporate media), if you mention suspicions, you are not only fired, you are blacklisted for all time. Hello once again from Berlin, where I’ll be speaking today on a panel about migration and anti-Semitism. Over 2000 radical Islamists gathered in Hamburg, Germany, on Saturday to call for a caliphate and the implementation of Sharia law. In the footage from the gathering, crowds could be heard chanting Allahu Akhbar. Germany is a country in which one of the most popular political parties in the country, the right-wing AfD, is under constant surveillance by state security for supposedly being an extremist threat to German democracy. And yet, in Hamburg, 2,000 Islamists rally calling for the overthrow of the state and its replacement with an Islamic religious government.

The Appalachias are filled with the most degraded and outcast of human ethnic groups - one of them being my aboriginal tribe, the desperate clans of the Scottish/English border - and all of them vote, over and over again, for not-socialist-oppression because the State sends its stupidest most heartless crusader lefties to “help” Appalachia, and then allows vulture-corporations to ride roughshod. Asked about US President Joe Biden’s opposition to Israel striking Iran’s nuclear facilities in defence against the Islamic regime’s attacks, Canada’s Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre said: I think the idea of allowing a genocidal, theocratic, unstable dictatorship that is desperate to avoid being overthrown by its own people to develop nuclear weapons is about the most dangerous and irresponsible thing that the world could ever allow. The short answer to that question comes from George Orwell: “Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.” Packed into that pithy aphorism is the explanation of the bitter struggle centering on the person of President Donald J. Trump. The dirty little secret of American history is that a largely left-leaning establishment has dominated our politics since 1932 and thereby framed our understanding of the past and goals for the future. Only two Republican presidents have held temporary majorities in both houses of Congress since then: Dwight D. Eisenhower and George W. Bush. Neither made a dent in the establishment’s control.
