Two of the five schools which chose to cancel and forfeit their women’s volleyball matches rather than compete against biological male player Blaire Fleming have been asked for money from San Jose State University (SJSU). Boise State University (BSU) and Utah State University, have been asked by SJSU to pay the school $1,250 each to compensate for revenue lost when the matches were forfeited.

Comments:

SJSU is now offering graduate level classes in Chutzpah.

There is no legal provision for revenue loss. Maybe profit loss. Is there a profit on women's volleyball? And if there was a profit, a damaged party is required to mitigate their damages, which San Jose could have done by merely not allowing a male to compete in any opposing teams that chose to forfeit, rather than play against a male, and risk injury. This country's law schools are training activist idiots, rather than training legal professionals.

For legitimate safety concerns it is reasonable for women to refuse to play competitive sports against men at the college level. If college programs can be fined for refusing to put women in harm’s way could this not lead to the death of such programs? If a small private college is required to risk a lawsuit for discrimination if they refuse to force women’s teams to play contact sports against men or, transversely, required to risk a lawsuit for recklessly exposing their female players to injury or death by forcing them to play against men then how many colleges will discontinue programs that require XX chromosomes? Women’s sports scholarships would suffer and so, too, would women. OTOH, too many women have been brainwashed into believing that they can be just as physically imposing, injurious or even lethal as any man. Where the sexes as well as the physical act of procreation is concerned we need to recalibrate the conversation and bring back a sense of proportion. Young men and women are not animals or machines and if they are encouraged to act in harmony to the natural sense of modesty which many possess there would be far fewer aborted children.

I guess SJSU should have thought about those losses when they decided to put a guy on the girls' team to help them cheat their way to victory. I don't know what the "legal-ize" way to say F Y is, but I would assume the legal staff for those other colleges will say it loud and clear!!!!!

The other schools should remind San Jose State that they actually saved money by not having to use their athletic facilities, pay staff for set up, referees, concessions staff, arena staff, utilities, and all of the other expenses related to hosting volleyball matches. They also most likely saved them a hike in liability insurance costs due to possible injuries caused by their tranny player. SJSU should pay the other colleges for their savings!

I recall some months ago an article describing a college volleyball game during which a tranny [male claiming to be female] player spiked the ball at -I seem to recall the figure reported as 70 MPH- into the face of a girl on the opposing team, causing permanent, severe, life-altering injuries to her face and to her brain. Was that tranny compelled to pay damages? Did his team or university pay damages? L-dotters, fill me in.... what happened to the permanently injured young lady? As for the team with the tranny demanding 'compensation' in this article, the other teams should tell them to take their demand and "Stick it Right Where the Moon Don't Shine!"

The United States will work with partners and stakeholders in Syria to help seize the opportunity that has presented itself after rebel fighters' stunning overthrow of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, President Joe Biden said on Sunday. "At long last, the Assad regime has fallen," said Biden, commenting on a fast-moving string of events in Syria that caught some in the White House off guard. Biden and his top national security aides took stock of a new-look Middle East that may be emerging after rebel forces ousted Assad in little more than a week.

An Ontario town has been fined $10,000 and its officials ordered to complete mandatory “human rights” training after it refused to celebrate Pride Month. Emo is a township of about 1,300 people located in the far west of Ontario, along the border with Minnesota. In a decision handed down last week, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario ruled that Emo, its mayor and two of its councillors had violated the Ontario Human Rights Code by refusing to proclaim June as “Pride Month.” The town was also cited for failing to fly “an LGBTQ2 rainbow flag,” despite the fact that they don’t have an official flag pole.

It turns out many Americans aren’t great at identifying which personal decisions contribute most to climate change. A study recently published by the National Academy of Sciences found that when asked to rank actions, such as swapping a car that uses gasoline for an electric one, carpooling or reducing food waste, participants weren’t very accurate when assessing how much those actions contributed to climate change, which is caused mostly by the release of greenhouse gases that happen when fuels like gasoline, oil and coal are burned. “People over-assign impact to actually pretty low-impact actions such as recycling, and underestimate the actual carbon impact of behaviors much more carbon intensive,
