As many as 104 million people of faith, including 32 million self-identified Christians who regularly attend church, are unlikely to vote in the upcoming 2024 presidential election on Nov. 5 mainly due to lack of interest, research from the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University shows. [Snip] "The 32 million Christians sitting in the pews each week who refuse to vote are a gamechanger.

Yesterday, two related articles were posted to this salon but neither contained poster comments that had delved into the specifics of the research done at Arizona Christian University which revealed a heart-wrenching reality that is of utmost concern not only from a Judo-Christian perspective, but a patriotic perspective as well. While not judging these people, the reality of their seeming inability to think for themselves is astonishing and reinforces what many seasoned citizens (grandparents) and conscientious parents have been observing for many years and that is, what seems to be indoctrination versus critical thinking—students are “told” thus-and-so versus “think it through” and draw a conclusion by connecting the dots.
Congregants want to have clergymen address political issues relating to appropriate Biblical/Christian responsibilities; for example, abortion, crime and law enforcement, same-sex marriage, transgenderism and gender identity, role and authority of government; immigration and border security. Again, without being judgmental, IF people of faith would attend Bible studies or dedicate daily time for personal study of Scripture with an accredited self-study Bible, they would “know” the answers to the questions or guidance they seek from clergymen. Most assuredly, pastoral guidance is of significant value but churches are at risk for litigation if perceived to have transgressed the misunderstood separation of church and state.
Circulating again is a document flatly stating a person will vote for Donald Trump, the candidate, not the man; meaning, they recognize President Trump's previous accomplishments but do not approve of the man himself. Well, “la-de-da” comes to mind. Grand and pompous! No mortal is without sin and there are no “degrees” of sin. Unfortunately, private citizen Donald Trump as well as President Trump’s quiet philanthropic gestures are vast, generous, profound and not widely known. Lest anyone forget, there is only One to make final judgment—and be reminded, our Lord forgave a thief on the cross.
In light of this sad revelation that many congregants do not personally know the answers to their questions and may not cast a vote in what is clearly the most important election of any American citizen now or in the past that may negatively impact the outcome of November 5th is of heartfelt concern. American patriots, please pray for God’s will.

Nonsense. It's getting clearer and clearer that Kackles is flailing and /trump is on his way back to the White House because the articles from the libtard media are starting to become more and more ridiculous. Panic isn't a good look, Journolisters!

I call BS on this 100 million math.
Population is somewhere around 330-350 million, including those under voting age and those ineligible to vote. Probably makes the entire voting population around 200-250 million. We get about 160 million voters out of that already.
No doubt there are Christians as well as those of other faiths who do not use their legal right to vote. At best, maybe 10-20 million. And they do not go all to the same candidate.

Apparently they have never heard the paraphrase from Adam Smith that “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,”

I’m not convinced that this claim is accurate. On the other hand, never underestimate the power of self-righteousness.

As a consideration for congregants uncertain what to do or how to vote on November 5th and looking toward clergymen for guidance, considering the fact that they are church attendees means they are people of faith and the most simplistic manner in which to find the answers to their questions is to think in terms of what is right and what is wrong. Use the “Ten Commandments” as a guide; know that mortal man is not to judge others (“Judge not, that you be not judged.” – Matthew 7:1-3); God expects mortal man to follow civil laws such as voting (Romans 13:1-14 – Submission to Authorities). Also be reminded that God selects heads of nations (Haggai 2:20-23; 1 Chronicles 14:2; Daniel 2:21, 4:17; Romans 13:1-2; Revelation 1:4-5), intentional or permissive; President Trump’s accomplishments during a time of unrelenting personal and political malice suggests there may be something “special” about the choice of this particular man at this point in time.

100 million "people of faith" don't care and won't be voting? In a county with a *total* population of 350 million? Their math is ridiculous.
They're essentially claiming that every single person who doesn't vote is a "person of faith". Garbage.

Response #1: People are leaving churches because they can see the churches are not houses of God.
Many of these institutions have turned from God and godliness. They promote tolerance. Love is everything - and because in their definition, it's everything - it is nothing. They do not rebuke evil, they celebrate it. When you abide everything you stand for nothing.
The real Christians are out there, and they WILL vote. They can see the lies.
Clergy address the congregations about politics? Heavens!! The Marxist Clergy do that daily, and in their 'Bible Studies', Social events and club meetings! They don't do anything else!! The God-fearing Clergy address such matters carefully, least they lose their church's tax-exempt status. That alone, should tell you who is on the side of God!! Only the Devil's ministry dare openly speak!
The faithful will vote. Be assured of that! These are the footfalls of the endtimes. When Christ comes, and you call out, "Lord! Lord!!"... how will he respond to you?

If they're waiting for some pastor to tell them what to do they need to stop waiting and act.
Today's Democrat party candidates are hostile to organized religion and Christians, in particular.
Many have advocated for removing the tax-exempt status of churches.
Overwhelming majority actively support and defend abortion up to the day of birth.
So, I suggest you get busy, get registered to vote, and VOTE.

The research was conducted in two phases in August and September, which polled a combined total of 3,000 respondents. The first survey, conducted from Aug. 26 through Sept. 6, polled 2,000 adult self-identified Christians who attended church at least once a month, and had a three point margin of error.
The second poll, which was conducted Sept. 18-22, questioned 1,000 adults over the age of 18 and had a four point margin of error.
This info is from https://justthenews.com/nation/religion/millions-christians-may-choose-not-vote-november-study
3,000 respondents is just .00009375% of the alleged 32 million who won't show up at the polls. That doesn't say "representative" to me.
