13, maintenance normally starts at midnight or later. I spent my entire career doing exactly that kind of work. We never did something at 10pm on any day and our schedule was always announced weeks or sometimes months in advance. We'd also often skip or reschedule if a non-security maintenance interfere with an important real world event.

‘You can say what you want about Trump, but the man has onions made of titanium’. As Teamsters President Sean O'Brien said when he spoke at the Republican National Convention, Trump is one tough SOB. Trump even had the immigration chart brought up on the large screen, the chart that he says saved his life when he turned to it; making the assassin's bullet barely miss his head and hit his ear instead. 'I love that chart. I love that graph.' Irony of ironies: the chart, that shows just how large the invasion is, saved Trump's life. God has a sense of humor. A definition of irony: the elite bought EV’s to show their eliteness. Instead, helping Darwin cull the herd, they became the dumb asses of America. More proof God has a sense of humor. Elon has made billions off of them. Just wait till the Trumpster turns him loose on the swamp.

“Mr Nice Guy”, Tim Walz, showed up at the vice-presidential debate in New York and flubbed it. Perhaps he was over-prepared. Or underprepared. Or just too darned “Minnesota nice”, as they say in his home state. Folks there have a reputation for being congenitally kind and polite. Kamala Harris’s running mate could have pummelled JD Vance for being a mean, small-minded, misogynistic flip-flopper whose sole guiding principle was to suck up to Donald Trump. Instead, he came to praise rather than to bury his opponent. Vance couldn’t believe his luck. The Republican vice-presidential nominee was only too pleased to play

SCRANTON, Pennsylvania — America’s second Catholic president was visiting his childhood neighborhood in April, when he employed a bit of ritualized Irish Democratic politicking. “I’m Joe Biden,” he introduced himself to a patron at a small coffee shop gathering in Green Ridge, long a bastion of Irish-Catholic families who work in law and politics. “I went to St. Paul’s.” (Snip) Biden isn’t wildly popular here. But as a native son, Biden is viewed through a nostalgic lens. To many in this once staunchly Democratic region, he embodies an older iteration of the party that was closely tied to organized labor
