Experts are sounding the alarm in the wake of college prices closing in on $100,000 per year when counting tuition, fees, room and board, books, and other living expenses.
“Among the schools appearing on The Princeton Review’s ‘The Best 389 Colleges’ list, eight institutions — including New York University, Tufts, Brown, Yale and Washington University in St. Louis — have a sticker price of more than $90,000 for the 2024-25 academic year,” CNBC reported. Those tuition prices could well cross into the $100,000 territory come 2026 so long as the adjustments average roughly 4 percent a year.

Throughout the Democratic National Convention, Democrats made a big show out of being “normal,” of standing for “freedom” and traditional, patriotic values. They did their best, but of course it is all a lie; there’s nothing normal about them.
Allow me to guide you through the Democrats’ wondrous world of human freaks and oddities. But first, we must get inside!
Careful, this is a dangerous path. Stay alert as we wade through the crowds of unwashed protesters — rabid, the lot of them.
Feast your eyes on a veritable buffet of causes. Do you want to see the destruction of Israel? Care to donate to Hamas?

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has accused his own party of blatant hypocrisy regarding voting rights. He asserts that while the Democratic National Committee (DNC) publicly champions the cause of voter access, they are simultaneously engaged in efforts to suppress the opponent’s candidacy, including him.
Kennedy Jr., who is facing significant resistance from party insiders, claims that the DNC and various state-level organizations are employing underhanded tactics to undermine his campaign.
His vice-presidential pick, Nicole Shanahan, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the alarming trend of legal battles initiated by Democrats against political opponents.

Barack Obama was elected in 2008 on his vague promise of “hope and change.” It was a shrewd strategy. He played into Americans’ perpetual dissatisfaction with their elected officials. Who doesn’t want change in the political system, and what better thing to hope for?
Moreover, by running mostly on a slogan, he became an empty vessel for people to fill with their individual hankerings. If you hoped that college would be changed to make it tuition free, then Obama’s your man because, after all, he did promise hope and change.

It's that Beyoncé will enter the 2024 political race, by performing her hit Freedom ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris' nominating speech Thursday night.
Supporters have tried to will both a Beyoncé and Taylor Swift endorsement into existence, with more than 70,000 signing a MoveOn.org petition asking the two stars to step up. But it's Queen Bey who's been on the tip of everyone's lips during the four-day convention in Chicago - with one Democratic state party chair openly saying in front of reporters that she was coming.

Like most left-leaning outlets, Axios has its good days and bad. They were excellent reporting on the turmoil and chaos that engulfed the Biden White House after the June 27 debate, which killed the president’s re-election effort. The White House staff’s irreparable deflation, Democratic congressional aides panicking, and the slew of calls with party leaders made disastrous headlines for the president. With Biden gone, Kamala Harris has taken the reins, and her first public policy proposal is to enact price fixes to curb the rising process from the Biden-Harris inflationary agenda. Axios tried to spin this and got slapped with a brutal fact check on Twitter (via Daily Wire):

Democrat presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris’s economic plan would increase taxes by $5 trillion over ten years, according to Americans for Tax Reform (ATR).
Harris’s campaign announced an enormous economic package on Monday that would undo former President Donald Trump’s tax cuts, claiming it would be part of “a fiscally responsible way to put money back in the pockets of working people and ensure billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share.” Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act slashed the corporate tax rate from 35 to 21 percent, lowered income tax rates, and doubled the standard deduction.

Oddly enough, there’s really only one thing both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump agree on: Joe Biden has been a disaster as President of the United States. Both Harris and Trump promise to undo much of what Biden has done, which is a good thing. But it’s a little bit weird that one of those candidates helped implement those policies in the first place. It’s going to be interesting to see how Kamala distances herself from, well, herself and Joe Biden.
What should they undo? Well, all of it, honestly. Joe Biden’s 4 years in the White House should be wiped clean from the history books.

CARACAS - Venezuela's Supreme Justice Tribunal on Thursday ratified President Nicolas Maduro's victory in the July 28 presidential election, sealing institutional backing for the ruling party as the disputed contest fades from international headlines.
Since the vote and deadly anti-government protests which followed, Maduro's administration has conducted what the opposition, human rights groups and unions have characterized as a crackdown on dissent.
The actions have included arrests of opposition figures and protesters, an investigation into opposition leaders for allegedly inciting the military to commit crimes, the passage of a law tightening rules on NGOs, and forced resignations of state employees allegedly espousing pro-opposition views.

A President that uses pronouns. It is as simple as that. Is that what America is about to elect? It is a scary thought. But Kamala Harris, who indeed has a record that is way off the mainstream of America is very close to becoming the leader of the free world Kamala Harris supports government intervention in order to create what she thinks is equality between men and women. She supports government forcing of pharmaceutical companies in order to enforce her progressive ideas on private companies. She doesn’t just believe in big government. The FBI is investigating an incident at a delegate buffet breakfast at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago where live maggots were thrown on the food.
"Multiple unknown female offenders are alleged to have entered a building...and began placing unknown objects onto tables containing food," the convention's information center said in a statement. "The offenders are believed to have then left the area. One victim was treated and released on-scene. Along with CPD, FBI-Chicago is assisting in the investigation."
No one claimed responsibility for what the FBI called an "attack." Got to watch those maggots, man. They can be vicious.

While the Democrats were hooting and hollering and spewing lies and hate both inside and outside the United Center in Chicago at their quadrennial clown show, the more sober U.S. Department of Labor Statistics, Current Employment Statistics finally admitted, "Whoops -- we made a major mistake! A 30% mistake in counting. There were actually 818,000 fewer jobs created in the past year than what we reported."Oh! Well, mistakes do happen and what's 818,000 fewer jobs among friends?
Well, since you asked, an increase in bankruptcies in 2023.

The Democrats continue to drag out their convention and milk it for every bit of earned media they can wring out of it. That process continued last night with the address from their newly minted Vice Presidential candidate, Tim Walz. The press was eating up the appearance of Walz's family in the audience, particularly his sobbing son who proudly declared, "That's my dad!" You can't really blame them because it was a rather touching moment and Walz's family is acting as if they still can't believe he's in this position. (Trust us... many of us can't believe it either.) Walz's speech was nothing for the history books, but

Democrats are delighting in needling former President Trump over his insecurities and baiting him into reactions, believing they are taking him off message and helping Vice President Harris’s surging campaign.
The needling, for Trump, is unending.Former first lady Michelle Obama delivered one of the most memorable lines of the Democratic convention Tuesday night when she suggested Trump might be seeking a “Black job” in running against Harris for the White House.
After Michelle Obama left the stage, former President Obama arrived to bash Trump over his “weird obsession with crowd sizes,” adding a hand gesture that implied he was mocking Trump’s manhood.

Conservatives were making hay about Kamala Harris’ latest “word salad” at a campaign event in Pennsylvania, where, in an attempt to sound intelligent, she went on about the “duality of democracy.”
“They took Kamala off the teleprompter today in Pennsylvania,” Outkick.com founder Clay Travis posted on X. “It didn’t go well.”
But conservatives have it wrong. It’s actually much worse than that.
Harris has been uttering this particular word salad for years – robotically, using almost the exact same phraseology, and at almost any public event where she was allowed to speak, whether or not it was relevant.

The more I see of Tim Walz, the more I realize he’s just a fatter, whiter version of Kamala. They both laugh at inappropriate times. They both say weird things. They both yearn for a communist America. They’re both on the wrong side of the IQ bell curve. If we lived in a society that encouraged talented people to run for political office, Tweedle-Kam and Tweedle-Tim would not be known. Because our political system excels at promoting mediocre minds attached to lost souls, the Democrat Party gives us a babbling baboon and a cackling hyena for veep and president.

President Donald Trump made a triumphant return to the campaign trail in Asheboro, North Carolina, holding his first outdoor rally since the assassination attempt against him one month ago.
With a crowd of thousands cheering him on, Trump, alongside Senator JD Vance, laid out their vision for restoring America’s global standing after the disastrous Harris-Biden regime.

By now, it’s just a way to troll conservatives. It’s now become an exercise to stick it to Republicans for pointing out rightly that Gov. Tim Walz lied about his military record. Multiple videos and newspaper articles from national and local publications show that Walz lied about his service. No one is admonishing him for deciding to serve in the National Guard for 24 years. That’s a fact, but he never deployed overseas, never saw combat in Afghanistan, and thought that Bagram Air Base was in Iraq. Walz’s time in uniform is not in question, but what he did after he left to bolster his public service career is

Wednesday marks the third night of the highly dysfunctional Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago, Illinois, and Democrats are scrambling to figure out how to execute convention logistics properly. The first two nights, they pushed their current and former presidents of the United States past primetime — neither Joe Biden nor Barack Obama took the stage before 11:00 p.m. on the East Coast — and Democrats struggled to find any coherent message at all. (Video) The Democrats have spent the first two days griping about former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee for the third straight election, whipping out as many ludicrous insults as they can.

When Americans listen to Kamala Harris’ acceptance speech tonight, they need to tune out the thrill-up-the-leg praise from the media and the audience’s stream of verbal bouquets and ask themselves one question: Are they better off today than they were four years ago. For all but a few, the answer would be resounding “no.”
In the only debate between President Jimmy Carter and challenger Ronald Reagan in the 1980 campaign, just days before the election, Reagan asked what the Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government called “one of the most important campaign questions of all time:

It’s infuriating that House Republicans waited so long to release their devastating report that President Biden committed impeachable offenses when he “actively participated” in a foreign influence-peddling conspiracy to enrich his family and then defrauded the American voter by lying about his abuse of office.
Even more infuriating is that Biden will not be held accountable by Congress for his malfeasance.
It’s hard to find a clearer-cut case for impeachment than selling access to the White House to foreigners, including the Chinese Communist Party, for tens of millions of dollars.

My bingo card didn’t have the Democrat Governor of Kentucky going to the Democrat National Convention and suggesting that somebody rape someone in JD Vance’s family, but you know, maybe it should have. Here’s an ugly reality that we have to accept. The elite of the Democrat Party hates us. It doesn’t just dislike us. It doesn’t find us merely annoying and tiresome. It certainly doesn’t want to live and let live. It wants to rule and let us die. There is not a single bad thing that they wouldn’t wish upon you. We know because they keep telling us.
That sure sounds harsh. So does suggesting that a member

If a person was forced to pick one word to describe the third night of the Democratic National Committee it would probably be “exhausting.”
It was nearly 11 pm, three hours into the prime-time portion of the day, when our monotonous Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg finally hit the DNC stage. Now, I’m not a professional political advisor, but one highly doubts that voters — most of whom would be waking up for work on Thursday – were clamoring to hear from the bungling head of the least important bureaucracy in the country.

Earlier today the Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) revised the annual jobs report to remove 818,000 previously recorded jobs.
[…] “The Bureau of Labor Statistics revised down its total tally of jobs created in the year through March by 818,000 as part of its preliminary annual benchmark review of payroll data. That suggests the economy added an average of 174,000 jobs per month during that time period — below the previous 242,000 estimate. On a monthly basis, that amounts to about 68,000 fewer jobs. It marks the largest downward revision since 2009.” (read more)

Kamala Harris helped a controversial bail fund rake in millions of dollars, which it spent on getting violent criminals back on the streets in the name of “social justice” — only for some of them to commit more crimes, including murder.
Among the freed criminals: A twice-convicted male sex-offender who went on to allegedly assault other women before his re-arrest and a man who left a victim with a traumatic brain injury after being sprung from jail while awaiting trial for another felony assault.

A member of John Kerry's team under President Barack Obama, whose biased attacks on Israel and support for Iran and Islamic terrorists in Israel helped lead to the current regional crisis, [Ilan] Goldenberg had spent the years leading up to October 7, 2023 doing everything possible to make the Hamas attack happen.
He had urged that more money should go into the Hamas territory and argued that Israel should allow in workers from Gaza. "You used to have 25,000, 100,000 Gazans working inside Israel. That needs to happen again." That led to Oct 7.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz reportedly pioneered the "weird" taunt against JD Vance. That's increasingly looking like an acute manifestation of projection. As we learn more about the wave of lies and distortions promulgated by Walz, another word that comes to mind is 'pathological.' The Democrats may have just put one serial embellisher and fabricator out to pasture, in Joe Biden, but it seems they've added another one to their presidential ticket. Walz has exaggerated, distorted, and outright lied about his military service, including his final rank at retirement. He's been called on it for years, by military brethren up and down his chain of command.

There is an old saying that the best comedy has elements of truth, and one conservative entertainer named Alex Strenger provided one of the best examples of this while visiting the DNC Convention in Chicago.
Stenger, who also works as a Pedicab driver, is best known for trolling city council meetings in his hometown of Austin, Texas. But he likely saw an opportunity this week to expand his influence given the absolute chaos that is currently unfolding at the Convention and the low-IQ individuals assembling to cheer on Kamala Harris.

Bill Clinton joked that he didn't have many conventions left during his speech at the DNC Wednesday night, as many on social media said his voice and hands were shaky the entire time.
Clinton, 78, channeled some of the relief inside the Democratic National Convention hall Wednesday when he said a 'load's off our shoulders' while praising Kamala Harris and saluted President Joe Biden for dropping out.
However, many on social media noted with one of his remarks that Father Time may have finally caught up on the man from Hope, Arkansas.

There is a simple reason Kamala Harris won't discuss policy, and everybody on the left including the mainstream media are breathing a sign of relief.
It's pretty simple: the few policies she has released as a candidate have been ridiculously destructive, and the ones she has shut up about are going to be worse. Imagine what every billionaire donor thought when they heard that Harris is coming for their unrealized capital gains.
I think they started making plans to renounce their US citizenship and start investing in Argentina.

Third party presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will reportedly drop out of the 2024 race for the White House and potentially endorse former President Donald Trump. "Robert Kennedy Jr. is planning to drop out of the presidential race by the end of this week," ABC News reported Wednesday afternoon. "Sources say Kennedy is leaning toward endorsing former President Donald Trump, though the sources cautioned the decision is not yet finalized and could still change, with one source adding Kennedy's hope is in part to finalize things quickly in order to try to blunt momentum from the DNC."

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz bashed rival Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) for attending Yale — after Walz followed a long list of Yale- and Ivy-League-educated speakers at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois, on Wednesday.
“I grew up in Butte, Nebraska. A town of 400 people,” Walz said, continuing: “I had 24 kids in my high school class. And none of them went to Yale.” Walz, the Democratic nominee for vice president, has frequently attacked Vance, the Republican nominee for the position, as if he were an elitist for going to Yale, despite the fact that Vance grew up in poverty in rural America.

Politics ain't beanbag, they say. No, it can be quite a nasty business (which makes me question my fascination with it at times). Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his running mate Nicole Shanahan can attest to that, as Shanahan notes in a recent interview she gave to Tom Bilyeu on his "Impact Theory" podcast.
Rumors are swirling that Kennedy is about to bow out of the race — and he's now announced his intention to deliver an address Friday afternoon in Phoenix, Arizona.
Initially, there were rumors that RFK Jr. was in talks with both the Trump and Harris campaign,

One of the many problems of the Biden-Harris time in office is their refusal to accept reality on critical issues.
They denied inflation was happening. Then when it was undeniable, they blamed everyone else and refused to admit how their policies sparked it. They denied that the Afghanistan withdrawal was a disaster, then lied about not leaving until they got everyone out. They claimed until this January that the "border was secure"; then, they immediately flipped around and blamed Republicans after denying there was ever any issue.
It's a feature not a bug with Biden and Harris. But they just got nailed on another big whopper
