A Florida Congressman has slammed his Tennessee Republican counterpart for calling Kamala Harris a 'DEI hire' - saying he might as well have used the N-word.
Maxwell Frost, 27, erupted in fury after Representative Tim Burchett insisting on CNN that the vice president was not the Democratic candidate based on merit.
'They want to call her a DEI president, or a DEI candidate. She has more experience than Trump and J.D. Vance combined, times a million, right?' he told CNN's Jim Acosta Tuesday.

In the immediate wake of Joe Biden's departure from the presidential race, liberal commentators began effusively praising the president for his decency, humility, and willingness to sacrifice his political career for the good of the country. Ezra Klein called him an "actual hero" who had demonstrated what real moral character looks like. Historian Jon Meacham, a personal friend of Biden, compared him to George Washington and said that he had "taught us a landmark lesson in patriotism, humility and wisdom." Frank Bruni called Biden's action "utterly extraordinary." Economist Alex Tabarrok called Biden an "American Cincinnatus." The statements of Democratic politicians were similarly overflowing with tributes to Biden's selflessness. But

Joe Biden gave a confused address at the White House on Wednesday evening that was supposed to address why he dropped out of the 2024 presidential race. Instead, he had so little respect for the American people he didn't even lay out the specific reason, saying only that he dropped out to unite the party and "save democracy." So basically he was admitting this was an effort to increase their chances in the election. It was a cynical attack on democracy, throwing the votes of millions of Americans under the bus. He tried to convince us

Zacarias Moussaoui was convicted and is serving a life sentence in the federal SuperMax facility in Colorado for being part of the 9/11 airliner hijacking operation that killed more than 3,000 citizens and destroyed the World Trade Center towers in New York.
You can read his indictment here.
A quick recap of his part in the terrorist mayhem from the Associated Press:
Zacarias Moussaoui remains the only person ever convicted in a U.S. court in connection with the Sept. 11 attacks….
Moussaoui was arrested in August 2001, before the attacks, when his efforts to obtain advanced flight training drew suspicion. He was charged [that] December as being a member of the al-Qaida conspiracy

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) announced she is planning to boycott “war criminal” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech before Congress on Wednesday.
In a post on X, Ocasio-Cortez described Netanyahu being invited to speak before a joint meeting of House and Senate members as being “a dark day” in the history of the United States. Netanyahu landed in the United States Monday evening ahead of his speech on Wednesday.“It is a dark day in US history when an authoritarian with warrant requests from the International Criminal Court is allowed to address a joint session of Congress,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote. “40k Palestinians are dead. Hostages aren’t home. Netanyahu is a war criminal.

FBI Director Christopher Wray said on Wednesday that it was not clear whether former President Donald Trump was shot or hit by shrapnel when a gunman opened fire at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, earlier this month.
The FBI is investigating the July 13 shooting, which killed one rally-goer and seriously injured two others before the gunman, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, was shot dead by the Secret Service.
Trump was rushed off stage with a bloodied ear. He said that night that he was "shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear." He said he heard "a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MN) mounted a silent protest during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to Congress on Wednesday, holding up signs that said “Guilty of Genocide” and “War Criminal” during his address. As Breitbart News noted:
Netanyahu, who was received with a standing ovation, began his address by acknowledging the Israeli hostages and their families, and by honoring Israeli soldiers in the gallery, — including Ethiopian and Muslim soldiers, and soldiers who, though wounded, returned to the fight.

GOP Rep. William Timmons of South Carolina pressed Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle on Monday on reports that the Pittsburgh Secret Service field office sent four times the number of additional agents to cover a first lady Jill Biden event than to former President Donald Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was shot.
Cheatle neither confirmed nor denied that was the case.
Biden was speaking at an event at Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh for approximately 300 people close to the same time Trump was speaking at his rally attended by several thousand, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune.

Newsweek is facing social media backlash after downplaying the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump by suggesting he was only hit with part of a bullet instead of an intact bullet.
The Newsweek article is titled “Donald Trump Might Not Have Been Shot After All.” Newsweek attempts to justify this title by pointing to testimony from FBI Director Christopher Wray, wherein Wray said, “…With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear.” (X)

Earlier on Wednesday, as Guy and our sister sites of Twitchy and Red State covered, Eugene Daniels, the president of the White House Correspondents Association, went after Fox News' Brian Kilmeade, claiming that the "Fox & Friends" host spoke about how Vice President Kamala Harris was going to speak at a "colored sorority." He actually said "college sorority." The audio reveals that Kilmeade said "college." Co-host Lawrence Jones also indicated he said that, as did Fox News, which Daniels acnowledged after he posted the clip claiming Kilmeade said "colored." That didn't stop DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison from going after Kilmeade and Jones in a ranting post over X.

The U.S. military intercepted several Russian and Chinese bombers in international airspace near the coast of Alaska Wednesday.
Two Russian Tu-95s and two Chinese H-6s entered what is known as the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone, North American Aerospace Defense Command said in a statement Wednesday night.
The aircraft were "detected, tracked and intercepted," NORAD said. They remained in the Alaska ADIZ and did not enter U.S. airspace.
