Newsweek is facing social media backlash after downplaying the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump by suggesting he was only hit with part of a bullet instead of an intact bullet.
The Newsweek article is titled “Donald Trump Might Not Have Been Shot After All.” Newsweek attempts to justify this title by pointing to testimony from FBI Director Christopher Wray, wherein Wray said, “…With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear.” (X)

If shrapnel, what caused it?
If Biden were in the same situation, the press would be touting how brave he was surviving an AK-47 attack

So will Wray or any member of Newsweeks staff kindly volunteer to be hit with just a part of a bullet, to prove that point?

Yea! Great source in Christopher Wray of the Deep State. A real go-to guy. No explanation how it was a shrapnel, not a deadly bullet. These guys are just not going to let Trump have his day in the sun!

It would be reasonable to expect the FBI Director to have enough knowledge of ballistics to realize how absurd that statement is.
Then again, we have the lesson of the "Magic Bullet" theory from the events of November 22, 1963 to consider........

Hiroshima didn't have a nuclear weapon dropped on them. It was just localized global warming.

-Wray said, “…With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear.”
Two people critically wounded, one dead, the target of an assassin miraculously escapes injury.
And Wray makes a sociopathic statement like this.

Jon Cary got a Purple Heart in 'nam for less.
This is even more pathetic than what we've come to expect from Newsweak. When the Compost dumped Newsweak 14 years ago, Harmon got ripped off. (They should have paid HIM to take on the commie rag.)
When Cankles claimed to have had to duck gunfire when visiting Yugoslavia, how did Newsweek treat that brazen lie? (Remember, there weren't even shots being fired within range of her, let alone being fired AT her.)

AR-15s don't shoot bullet parts. And there is no evidence whatsoever that a bullet hit something else first before fragmenting and hitting Trump. So where did Wray get this assertion?

Deep state hate for Trump. Wray knows he is toast when Trump is elected. He will do & say anything to undermine Trump. Wray's time for reckoning is coming and he is desperate to hold it off.

Maybe the planned kill shot was a frangible round, to prevent a ballistic match to the SS wet worker. There was some talk of a TelePrompTer being shattered. Only saw that once.

Over the last two months Newsweak had TWO articles of the conservative bent. Apparently they caught hell from their 50 readers and decided to go back to lying.
