A Florida Congressman has slammed his Tennessee Republican counterpart for calling Kamala Harris a 'DEI hire' - saying he might as well have used the N-word.
Maxwell Frost, 27, erupted in fury after Representative Tim Burchett insisting on CNN that the vice president was not the Democratic candidate based on merit.
'They want to call her a DEI president, or a DEI candidate. She has more experience than Trump and J.D. Vance combined, times a million, right?' he told CNN's Jim Acosta Tuesday.

But - - but - - but - - if DEI is such a wonderful policy - - why would calling someone DEI be bad?
Wouldn't it actually be good? Gee - - I really don't understand the logic - - - - - -

ByeDone himself said he would *give* the position to a black woman (or maybe he said Woman of Color?). If ever there was a DEI hire, Camel is it. What's the problem? They want this, they openly discuss it, but when a GOP says it, its contorted into a racial epithet. Dims own the eggshells, we're supposed to walk on them.

The head of the Secret Service was correctly accused of being a DEI recipient. Is that "racist" as well?

Ooh. The "N" word. What a nation of cowards we have become. I use that word daily (usually during the news) and hear it even more than I use it. If I get a dog his name is going to be Enward.
I think the country would be better off if we just call things what they are for a change. The social justice warriors dont get to change the language.

the truth stings a bit doesn’t it Frost? These Marxist Democrats always play the race card when they find themselves up against reality that doesn’t fit their ideology!
Harris is the absolute epitome of DEI hiring! Everybody knows that, it’s been obvious all of her career, she’s earned nothing from deeds or abilities so in my book that’s DEI!

Someone was arguing that DEI must be used in hiring . I said the only thing that matters is whether the person is qualified. I was told that I was a racist for not using DEI as a qualifier. You cannot have a rational conversation with anyone of the left.

I don't care for calling her a DEI hire and by no means should we start planting the seeds of any sort of sympathy for her with voting blocks.
What they are trying to stipulate is certain comments need to be considered "taboo" and he's sending the dog whistle to the media to react accordingly.
But, at the same time, if you want to be in "the arena" then you better be ready to play rough and tough because politics is a blood sport for those in DC and many places.
Democrats do like to have an unfair advantage though.

#17 you made my day. Mom used to call us boys nudniks when we were pre-teen and she used it as a term of endearment. I havent heard it since then. Good warm memories.

sure, she was born in the US but, neither parent was American, both had overstayed student visas...then she spent her "Formative years/Schooldaze" in Montreal.
Strange no one ever asks her to speak French...just to hear if she learned ANYTHING.

Of course he has equated dei with the unpronounceable racist term.
If we can take that term off the table maybe we can steer the discussion
