“What did the president know, and when did he know it?”
This famous question was asked 50 years ago by Sen. Howard Baker about the Watergate scandal.
This eventually brought down President Richard Nixon, leading to the installation of President Gerald R. Ford and his vice president, Nelson Rockefeller.
Neither were elected by the people, they were instead selected by the ruling class.
Nixon’s elected vice president, Spiro Agnew, resigned from office over alleged tax and financial crimes. House Speaker Carl Albert selected Ford as Nixon’s new vice president, saying, "We gave Nixon no choice but Ford." Nixon then resigned, elevating Ford to the presidency.
Ford then nominated Rockefeller

Poll analyst Nate Silver lists the signs that a party is getting rid of a president under the 25th Amendment. He says we’re about halfway up the ladder, which has these at the starting rungs:
Back-channel conversations
Anon leaks to press
Influential non-electeds and donors saying he should resign
Backbench elected officials saying he should resign
Signals from senior party leaders saying he should resign with plausible deniability
Megadonors saying he should resign and withholding funds
Normie senators or representatives saying he should resign
I’m seeing all this right now, not yet as a march to the 25th Amendment removal from office, but certainly in an effort to get him to withdraw from the 2024 race.

In April 1988, the U.S. launched Operation Praying Mantis, a one-day war against Iran. It was retaliation for the U.S. frigate Samuel B. Roberts striking an Iranian mine in international waters. Although the Roberts’ keel was broken, thanks to the crew’s effort, the ship did not sink.
Ronald Reagan ordered the April 18, 1988 response. By the end of the day, Iran had lost five ships. A frigate was sunk, and a gunboat and 3 speedboats were sent to the bottom of the sea. One other Iranian frigate was heavily damaged and crippled, and two oil platforms were destroyed. An operation to send SEALs to capture the platforms was called off

I reported about a week ago how former representative and now CNN political commentator flunky, Adam Kinzinger, as a "proud conservative," had endorsed Joe Biden the day before Biden's disastrous debate. Then afterward, it was funny to watch him scramble, retweeting posts from people who were calling on Biden to step aside. When asked if he was sorry about endorsing Biden, he claimed he wasn't, that he was "proud of standing against the habitual liar."
Now, that was hilarious because Kinzinger had endorsed the "habitual liar," Joe Biden. And you can't endorse Joe Biden and claim you're a "proud conservative" without either being dishonest or delusional,

Pride.
Everyone is so proud. So damn proud!
We just came through Pride Month. Pride parades, celebrations, commercials, and notices were ubiquitous, everywhere, like drag queens. And not just where you might expect them, either.
It seemed nary a crosswalk, sports team, business, or email was unadorned by some form of acknowledgement or touting of the LGBTQ community.
So proud! Couldn’t be any prouder of our gender (whatever it is today) or sexuality!
Because that is what matters, what is really at the very heart of who we are, right? And that’s why they want to make sure youngsters are involved, as well. The younger the better. The younger, the prouder!
Hunter Biden is proud.

As I have asked for almost four years, who’s gonna tell the president of the United States he’s done?
“Guess what: they’re trying to push me out of the race. Well, let me say this as clearly as I can: I’m staying in the race,” Biden said, reading from a teleprompter. “I don’t think anybody’s more qualified to be president or win this race than me,” Biden said. “If the Lord Almighty came down and said, ‘Joe, get out of the race,’ I’d get out of the race. The Lord Almighty’s not coming down.”
Don’t ya wonder what he might have said without the teleprompter?

I’m betting that, as you read this, you already know about Joe Biden’s absolute train-wreck of an interview with George Stephanopoulos. Although Biden was in better shape and more coherent than he was during his disastrous debate with Donald Trump, he still presented as a confused old man and, if you’re someone who believes in truth, not post-modern relativism, a dishonest old man. For those of us who have watched Biden’s decline, this was expected. What wasn’t expected was Stephanopoulos’s desperate attempts to get Joe to acknowledge he’s leaving the campaign and the post-interview talking heads’ savage attacks on Joe. That’s how you know Joe’s White House days are over.

When you think of President Joe Biden these days, who does he remind you of? You might invoke your impression of an elderly relative who is similarly struggling with cognitive issues. The less charitable among us might make a reference to Elmer Fudd or some other frequently befuddled character. But that's not the view that Democratic Congressman Don Beyer of Virginia holds. While introducing Biden at a fundraiser earlier this week, Beyer compared the President to none other than Jesus Christ. This was a case of setting the bar very high, to say the least. But what is it about Joe Biden that reminds Beyer of the Savior so much?

Whew! I was worried until I saw this!
Good thing Anthony Fauci has never gotten it wrong or lied to us in the past, or else I would be skeptical about his diagnosis that President Biden is ready and raring to go to have a successful second term as president. (X) Aside from last Thursday's debate there is absolutely, positively zero credible evidence that Biden is anything other than perfectly fit and mentally capable to perform the job of being leader of the free world and in charge of thousands of nuclear weapons.
Zero evidence.
You might even say that Biden is "safe and effective" as president.

President Joe Biden was examined by his physician in the days following last week’s CNN presidential debate, the White House tells CNN — despite the White House press secretary having said Wednesday that the president has had no medical exams since his February physical.
“Several days later, the president was seen to check on his cold and was recovering well,” White House spokesman Andrew Bates said.
On Wednesday, CNN had asked Karine Jean-Pierre in the White House press briefing whether the president had received “any medical exams” since his February physical, and the press secretary had responded: “We were able to talk to his doctor about that and that is a no.”

You might think the Democrats would be able to keep it together, given that they control the presidency, the Senate, the federal bureaucracy, and the press, and are only a few seats away from controlling the House. But, for whatever reason, they have gone mad. Democrats have reached a fever pitch of hysteria that I doubt we have seen before in our history.
One example among many is their mental breakdown over the Supreme Court’s presidential immunity decision, Trump v. United States. As I wrote here, that decision was moderate, middle of the road, and entirely predictable. While it addressed a novel issue, it is consistent with past Supreme Court decisions.

Dr. Anthony Fauci defended President Joe Biden as "analytical" amid growing calls for him to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race over his debate performance against former President Donald Trump last week.
During the CNN debate in Atlanta, Georgia, Biden, 81, sounded hoarse and appeared to mumble through several answers, doing little to quell concerns from swing voters about his age. Polls prior to the debate signaled his mental fitness was a key concern among voters, and many Democrats, including one member of Congress, are now calling on him to drop out of the race.
Fauci, however, said that when he was working for the Biden administration, the president seemed
