Conservative states across the country—Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, and Oklahoma—are taking border security matters into their own hands, proposing or passing legislation targeting illegal immigration.
The Oklahoma legislature just passed a bill designed to prohibit illegal immigrants from entering or living in the state.
HB 4156 states: “A person commits an impermissible occupation if the person is an alien and willfully and without permission enters and remains in the State of Oklahoma without having first obtained legal authorization to enter the United States

This should be the case of the United States of America.....ALL of them.
Illegals should not be able to rent an apartment, buy a car, or hold a job, or open a bank account, or wire money out of the country.
A few laws like that would shut them all down, and they'd self deport.

Well, that was straight forward. The socialists whine that invasion of our country is a civil law matter rather than criminal law violation. Seems at the Federal level, immigration law violations need to be categorized as criminal activity.

Those states are correct by upholding the law. These people are not illegal aliens, but illegal alien criminals. Once they cross the border without proper authorization, they have broken the law; therefore illegal alien criminals, period.

But they can be counted in the census, which means those leftist States will be able to get more Reps, and they will be hard left, anti-American, hating our Constitution, for sure. If this happens, the mayhem in Congress seen these past few years will be much, much, much worse. Nightmarish visions.

Can't wait to hear the argument from the (ultra-left) Dept. of Justice when they sue those States for daring to rub the Feds noses in their "mess" of illegal immigration.
Will Demonrats attempt to use the "Interstate Commerce Clause" in their prosecution? They'll be admitting conspiracy with cartels in trafficking drug and sex across American, along with extending slave-labor rackets into our nation. "Discovery" will involve a complete Audit of DOJ, FBI, and Homeland Security. Let the games begin!

Now...this is a good idea....if biden won't stop them at the southern border...then the states can stop them at THEIR borders....

Well, there goes that popular notion that every state is a border state. Nope. Dear Border States: To whom much is given, much is required. That said, when has a criminal or an invader ever worried about breaking a few laws?
