Hamas rejected on Wednesday President Joe Biden’s plan for a temporary cease-fire in Gaza as the terrorist group plans on putting forward its own demands for ending the war. Negotiators from the U.S., Israel, Qatar, and Egypt were discussing a plan to halt the war in Gaza for six weeks to facilitate the exchange of 900 prisoners held in Israel for 40 of the hostages Hamas continues to hold in captivity, according to the Wall Street Journal. Hamas is demanding a permanent end to the war in Gaza and Israel’s full withdrawal from the area in exchange for the remaining hostages captured during the mass

My last post yesterday was kind of a quick, one-day-news-tour around the wreckage #Bidenomics has left strewn across the American landscape. To wit, the inflation pressures, employment pressures, and unending social reengineering pressures.
Being subject to the progressive grifting regime has not been beneficial in the least for the country's psyche, soul, or security, either safety or financial.
One tidbit that dropped yesterday, which I only bumped up against, was the explosion of credit card delinquencies. In this Biden induced time of wage stagnation and job insecurity coupled with exploding household costs, it's not really surprising when even formerly comfortable people are feeling the pinch.

Losing black support would be a blow to President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign. Only 12 percent of black men voted for Trump in 2020, voting data shows. There is no compatible 2020 polling for black men.
In 2020, six percent of black women said they would vote for Trump, Associated Press polling found, five points less than the Journal‘s 2024 polling.

Perhaps the most worrisome news of the day is the Iranian threat to launch a massive drone and missile attack against Israel. Up to this time, Iran has worked with considerable effect through its proxies, principally the Houthis in Yemen, Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, and — if it is not too far-fetched to suggest — Iran’s increasingly reliable proxy outrider the United States of America under the feckless and incompetent Joe Biden.

MADISON, Wisconsin — Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley announced Thursday that she will not seek another term, setting up a high-stakes fight for control of the battleground state’s highest court.
Bradley, who is part of the court’s 4-3 liberal majority, said she felt confident she could win a fourth 10-year term but that it was time to “pass the torch.” Her term will end July 31, 2025. The election for the open seat will be held next April. Brad Schimel, the former Republican attorney general, announced in November that he plans to run.
Idaho Governor Brad Little signed House Bill 538 on Monday. This means that Idaho school districts will soon have to remove any requirements that teachers use the preferred pronouns of transgender students.

One person has been killed and five injured, including children, in a shooting in Washington, D.C., just minutes away from the White House.
