The New York Times proudly announced last Monday that it had “won three George Polk awards, including two for its coverage of the Israel-Hamas war.” Those prestigious journalism awards went to “Samar Abu Elouf and Yousef Masoud of The Times” for “photojournalism for their photographs of the conflict from inside Gaza, capturing the horrific toll of Israel’s airstrikes on civilians, including the death and injury of many children.” The Times neglected to mention, however, one telling detail: Masoud has been unmasked as a member of Hamas who participated in the Oct. 7 jihad massacres inside Israel.

Dear God, this is insane. Actually it puts on display just how anti-Semitic the New York Times and the media are. Joe is playing both sides of the fence, but seems to be pro Hamas more than pro Israel. Guided by his ventriolouiist, Barack Hussein Obama.

If you had told the average person that an anarchist or an airman had set himself on fire to protest Israel’s campaign against Islamic terrorists, you would get two very different reactions. Unsurprisingly the media led with the data point most likely to produce a favorable reaction. And Aaron Bushnell cynically played the same game, wearing (the wrong) uniform to his Hamas suicide attempt rather than the Antifa red in which he had been previously photographed. The Washington Post gets around to admitting that Bushnell was an “anarchist”. [SNIP] But the Washington Post then misleadingly suggests he was raised in a Christian cult.

Popular streaming service Hulu is facing backlash over its local ad placement policies after it prevented a Texas Church from running an advertisement on its platform. Hulen Street Church in Fort Worth, Texas, was told by Disney-owned Hulu that it could not run a 22-second video to advertise the start of a new Thursday night service because it qualifies as 'religious indoctrination.' It is the most recent controversy that Hulu has been involved in, as the platform is facing fury over its policies that have restricted ads on abortion and guns while allowing anti-terrorist group Hamas content.

France has deported a Tunisian cleric who allegedly called the country's flag satanic. Mahjoub Mahjoubi, 52, was flown to North Africa just 12 hours after his arrest over sermons said to go against French values. His deportation last Thursday is seen as a demonstration of tough immigration laws brought in by president Emmanuel Macron. [SNIP] The imam also referred to 'the Jewish people as the enemy' and called for 'the destruction of Western society', the indictment said.

In a survey of more than 2,000 adults, 42% of Americans said they know at least one person who died due to a drug overdose. The data was released this week by the Rand Corporation. The American Journal of Public Health published its findings. Rates of exposure were significantly higher in New England and in the East South Central region (Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee) than in other parts of the nation, the Rand Corporation said. Additionally, 13% said that an overdose loss has disrupted their lives, and 4% said the death of a loved one had "a significant or devastating effect that they still feel."

In a dramatic turn of events, the South Florida Muslim Federation (SFMF), an umbrella group for South Florida’s radical Muslim outfits, has secured a new venue for its pro-Hamas conference, after being shut down by the Coral Springs Marriott for security concerns. The Sheraton Suites Fort Lauderdale at Cypress Creek – also a Marriott affiliate – has agreed to allow the group to use their premises to further the spread of hatred and incitement. The conference will feature many of the same extremists as the cancelled affair, including someone recently thrown off the Broward County School Board for promoting antisemitism.

A judge ruled Thursday that a Black student who was suspended for months over his locs hairstyle was legally punished by the school district. Darryl George, 18, had been told by his school district in suburban Houston that he was breaking the rules about student appearance and dress code. State District Judge Chap Cain III ruled in favor of the Barbers Hill School District on Thursday, saying the district has not violated a new state law prohibiting race-based hair discrimination. The issue centered around the length of George's hair. George and his family say his hairstyle is protected by a state law known as the Texas Crown Act.

The Republican senator, who turned 82 last week, choked up on the Senate floor as he revealed he will leave the position he's served in for almost 18 years in November after a 'painful time' that included the death of his sister-in-law. McConnell has battled constant calls to step down in recent months over his support for sending more aid to Ukraine and is the last member of the Republican leadership not to have endorsed Donald Trump's 2024 presidential bid.

As Denver faces a budget crisis due to 40,000 illegal immigrants arriving in the last year, the city is warning hourly workers that they may be furloughed, while also considering hiring illegal immigrants to work for the city, The Daily Wire has learned. A spokeswoman for Denver mayor Mike Johnston told The Daily Wire that the budget crisis was caused by illegal immigrants being unable to work, causing them to be a drain on taxpayer dollars. The idea was to solve that by having them work directly for the city, she said. She said that a full-time salary funded by taxpayers was “not necessarily” more costly than social services.

Washington — President Joe Biden is fit for duty, his doctor reported Wednesday following the president’s annual physical, in what is expected to be the last update on Biden’s health before November’s election. Dr. Kevin O’Connor said in a memo there are “no new concerns” with the president’s health revealed by this year’s physical. The White House said earlier Wednesday that no cognitive test was administered as O’Connor did not find it necessary. “The President feels well and this year’s physical identified no new concerns. He continues to be fit for duty and fully executes all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodations,” O’Connor wrote.

An Illinois judge ruled Wednesday that former President Donald Trump should be taken off of the state's ballot for the primary election, citing the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. The decision came from the Circuit Court of Cook County, and the judge put the order on pause in anticipation of an appeal. The ruling said that "based on engaging in insurrection on January 6, 2021...his name should be removed from the ballot." NBC News has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment. Some — such as yours truly and the not-awful members of the White House Press Corpse [sic] (and I'm looking at you, Peter Doocy) — are more concerned with the alleged president's cognitive health than we are about his physical health.
