GOP Voters Sound Off On Trump’s Possible
VP Picks — Their Answers May Surprise
You: I&I/TIPP Poll

A presidential candidate’s running mate is usually chosen to “balance” the ticket to shore up electoral weaknesses. But in former President Donald Trump’s case, his vice presidential pick is likely to receive added scrutiny due to his multitude of legal problems. That’s why this month I&I/TIPP asked U.S. voters: Who should Trump’s vice presidential running mate be? To find out who’s potentially strongest as a vice presidential candidate, I&I/TIPP’s national online poll, taken by 587 registered Republican primary voters from Jan. 31-Feb. 2, asked two questions: “If Trump wins the Republican nomination, who would be your top choice for his Vice President?”

Ben Carson is my pick. He proved himself able to handle DC as head of HHS. He's a mature, level headed counter-balance to Trump. He doesn't really want to be president. A solid known quantity who will be the best partner for MAGA efforts.

BS Poll: DeSantis and Ramaswamy have already said they would refuse a VP offer. This is about Halley, who is opposed to Trump, philisohically, and would be another Mike Pence, at best in a crisis situation Garbage poll. There are other, willing candidates who are better.

Well, I veto Haley. I understand during a campaign things are said to put your opponent in a less than favorable light, but SHE sounds too much like a Dem and she perpetuates some of the Dem talking points. There are better people out there, forget Haley!

Mr. Trump will select his own candidate, thank you! This sport and folly of attempting to tell him who to select makes for interesting speculation, but he will make the choice and not be force fed by ANYONE. Too many have been swayed by popular media and RINO choices, like Ramaswamy and Governor Nikki. Making a selection based on race, or popularity is a serious game that is set up for failure by popularity. There are decent people out there who could serve, but the nature of DC prevents good people from BEING ALLOWED to serve if they were to be elected to serve.

Rand Paul was not one of the choices, so my vote would have been "other". If Trump has so little wisdom as to select Haley, he can expect the deep state to assassinate him to get one of their own in the oval office.

Kari Lake or Sarah Sanders. But most anyone would be crazy to run with trump. When the Democrats find out who will run with him they will come down on that person like a ton of bricks. It will have to be someone clean and brave, and ready to fight a dirty battle, because it will be one of the dirtiest battles in the history of mankind.

I'm anti-girl for VP or President. There's too much pressure and attention given to girls. I don't want someone who has to think or act like a man; I want a man. A certain type of man, a man's man. When the world is less dangerous we can play around with girl leaders. Think about it. How many countries around the world are picking girls to run things these turbulent days?

I took a few statistics courses in college. In the first one, the required text was a small paperback entitled "How To Lie With Statistics". It taught that the first question you should ask yourself, when looking at a poll, is "what's N?" N is the number of participants in the poll. In this case, N=587. Let's assume half the population favors Trump. That's 165 million people. Talking to only .00000356 of that chunk of people tells you exactly nothing. This "poll" is worthless.

Never Haley. NEVER. DeSantis won't likely accept, it isn't his year. The Swami.....OK, sorta, I could live with that, but I don't think he brings much to the ticket, and there is still the "who is this guy, REALLY?" factor. I think Tim Scott would bring a lot of black voters who are on the fence about Trump.

DeSantis is doing too much important work in Florida. He needs to stay there. Ramaswamy would be much more valuable in another position; Chief of Staff or a cabinet position. No to Haley. It's not important to most of us, but a woman or minority would help with Independents and moderates. Kari Lake is too radical for a lot of people. She'd be a good advisor or maybe in charge of Homeland Security. Mike Flynn, Tim Scott, Kristi Noem or Sarah Sanders would each be a good choice

The evidence of President Joe Biden’s criminal activity continues to grow. As has often been said, the wheels of justice grind slowly, but we’d like to see them get in gear in time for voters to know that their president is a crook. During testimony earlier this week before the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, former Hunter Biden associate Tony Bobulinski said “it is clear to me that Joe Biden was ‘the Brand’ being sold by the Biden family.” “The Biden family business was Joe Biden, period.” Simply put, Bobulinski said Joe has been the recognizable name that the Bidens sold to amass wealth that few Americans can conceive of.

Remember that “kill switch” mandate for new cars that media fact-checkers years ago assured the public was just a crazy right-wing conspiracy? Well, the federal government recently took the first step toward a rule that would …. require all new cars sold to come with a kill switch. If there ever were a sign that Canada has gone cuckoo, it has to be a bill introduced in Parliament that would censor speech about fossil fuel. No, we’re not joking, though we hope the bill’s author is. We fear, however, he isn’t. One Charlie Angus, a New Democratic Party member of the House of Commons from Timmins–James Bay in Ontario, has brought before that chamber Bill C-372. It clearly states that “it is prohibited for a person to promote a fossil fuel, a fossil fuel-related brand element or the production of a fossil fuel except as authorized by the provisions of this Act or of the regulations.”

Biden said: “When buying snacks for the game you might have noticed one thing: Sports drinks bottles are smaller, bag of chips has fewer chips, but they are still charging us just as much …
