The Antioch Community Library in Contra Costa, California was abruptly closed on Saturday. A statement posted to the Contra Costa County Library website gave the reason as, “repeated dangerous incidents in the last few months that have threatened the safety and security of patrons and staff.” A library spokesperson added people were using drugs and having sexual intercourse inside the library and on library property “in full view of patrons and staff.” Contra Costa County is located in the East Bay region, just east of crime-ridden Oakland and San Francisco.

Libraries across the country have turned into day care centers for the homeless and illegals. The congregate there for heat and AC, bathrooms, free internet and comfortable chairs in which they can sleep undisturbed . The liberal librarians have encouraged this and in the process have ruined the country’s libraries. I no longer vote in favor of library bonds.

I lived in Antioch in the 90's. My kids went to the middle school that was across the street from the library. They would go to the library after school and wait for me to pick them up. Even then there were gang fights in the library parking lot every. single. day. We eventually moved to a nicer community nearby, and one day my son came home and said there was almost a fight at the new school but then the boys talked it out. I'm actually surprised the library is still there.

My public library got pretty bad. There were a lot of crazy people there and it got so that I'd run in, grab my books check out and leave. No browsing. It's a little bit better now since they had to hire a security guy. But the staff is full of rainbow haired, tattooed and pierced odd balls and there is no one I can chat with anymore.

45 years ago at my college - all the bathroom stall doors were removed leaving every toilet open with no privacy for when we were doing our number 2 business. It was because the non-student gays had decided to hook up in the second floor bathroom stalls and it was thought that the lack of privacy afforded by the removal of the doors would discourage them. It didn't. They had turned our bathroom into a sex party. If a student went in to urinate the gays would play grab az. Then the gays had their yearly march and insisted that gays were just like everyone else. Eventually the doors to the building were locked and guards were posted to open the door for students with IDs. What a pain. And of course the gays protested that they were being discriminated against.

It all started with their refusal to add filter software to the free computers. Homeless would be at the computers, pleasuring themselves in front of patrons, including the youngest kids. Their rights seemed to be valued more than people who just wanted to use the library for its purpose.

Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that she was not ruling out a presidential run to keep former President Donald Trump out of the White House. Anchor Jake Tapper said, “You still haven’t ruled out a presidential run of your own in 2024, as far as I know. Are you still considering it, or what do you rule it out?” Cheney said, “I haven’t made any decisions about it yet. I’m going to do whatever is necessary to defeat Donald Trump.” Tapper said, “But if it came down to you, not running, and it’s Biden versus Trump, you would you would support Biden?”

Far left-wing progressive Governor Gavin Newsom has driven his home state of California into the ground, but that doesn’t seem to stop him from telling other states what to do or weighing in on national issues when he should be asking for forgiveness in a church somewhere. Advertisement Instead, he’s sending out fundraising emails regarding the Kansas City Superbowl shooting, which left dozens injured and one dead, ludicrously arguing that our nation’s gun laws and the Supreme Court paved the way for this tragic incident to happen.

It’s “black history month.” So what? I’m not black; I don’t care. In fairness, I’ve never cared about any of these ethnocentric “celebrate diversity” kinds of garbage divisions Democrats try to cram down our throats, mostly because I celebrate accomplishments, not irrelevant characteristics over which no one has any control. I’m old school; I prefer to judge people based on who they are as people, not their melanin levels. It’s why I would’ve made a horrible Democrat at any time in their history. I will say, however, that this black history month,

It has been clear for quite some time that the Biden regime, despite its show of support for Israel, is really on the side of Hamas. Now the regime is in serious talks to respond to Hamas’ brutal and inhuman murder of 1,200 Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023 by giving it the biggest reward of all: a Palestinian state. If you are skeptical that Old Joe and his henchmen are really on Hamas’ side, consider the fact that, in November, they enabled the release of ten billion dollars in frozen funds to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hamas’ primary financier. That followed $100 million in “humanitarian aid”

Another day, another crime involving a "migrant" whose illegal entry and re-entry and re-entry into the country has been actively encouraged by political ideologues whose frenetic ambition to power supersedes the massive and irreparable damage their tactics wreak upon society. Irreparable, that's both the operative word and the stated intent. Obama's dream of fundamentally transforming America as we know it plows full steam ahead. Hence, the following incidents numb us into morbid resignation: An illegal immigrant and five-time deportee from Nicaragua viciously beat and raped a developmentally disabled woman in Ohio. Prior to this, he had been arrested multiple times

Writing in Aeon, professional provocateur Gavin Evans leads the band of God-slayers with his February 15 article, entitled “There Was No Jesus,” rehashing old arguments that Jesus was the invention of a group of unscrupulous hucksters who sought to create a religion around a myth of their own creation. The gist of Evans’ plodding 4,100-word piece is that “a cult leader who drew crowds, inspired devoted followers and was executed on the order of a Roman governor”

The political narrative of the US left, when it comes to race, are one of the most ‘sacred cows’ of the western world. Hardly anyone dares to counter its assumptions, that are treated like eternal truths. In comes a black Harvard professor leading a study on race and police brutality. He fully expects the results to match the ‘approved’ party line, showing that Houston police shootings have a clear and unmistakable racial bias. When the results show nothing of the kind, the professor has to decide whether he is a scholar or a militant. Harvard Economics Professor Roland Fryer took the hard road, published his study, and ‘all hell broke loose’.

We've been talking for some time about how bad Joe Biden's classified documents scandal was compared to former President Donald Trump's situation. Trump had things transported to Mar-a-Lago only from the time he was president, when he was allowed to have access to them, with Secret Service protection. The issue was over what needed to be returned. But as I've noted in the past, Biden himself admitted there was a document going back to 1974, when he didn't even have any right to have anything from the time he was a Senator. Then after the Hur report dropped, Biden spoke about their investigation spanning "40 years."

The LGBTQ community continues to segregate itself while preaching that all it wants is inclusion. If that’s the case, then why continue to attack the values of those who don’t agree with your beliefs? Ash Wednesday is a sacred day for many Christians. It signals the beginning of Lent, six weeks of repentance and self-denial meant to remind the faithful of Jesus’s forty days of fasting in the desert. For centuries, (Snip) The LGBTQ community knows and understands how sacred and important the time of Lent is to Christians. One of the tricks of knowing when a leftist judge is pulling a fast one is if the decision is really, really long. (snip) Indeed, generally speaking, in my thirty-five years as an attorney, I’ve never seen an appellate court uphold damages so disproportionate to actual injuries suffered—and again, there were no injuries in this case. The fact that there were no injuries in itself means that the case, from ig to zack, denied Trump due process. I don’t see the judgment surviving an appeal, that’s for sure. (snip) And so, I think that this latest assault on Trump, rather than filling people with revulsion, will bring many around.
