Poll: Two-Thirds of U.S. Workers Say Inflation
Outpaced Income

A new survey found that two-thirds of full-time American workers say their income has not kept up with the rate of inflation. Rasmussen Reports released new survey results on Feb. 15 showing that 66% of American adults with full-time jobs have incomes outpaced by the rate of inflation, which continues to increase (though allegedly at a slower rate). Less than a third, or 29%, responded that their incomes did keep pace with the inflation rate. These numbers have worsened since October, according to Rasmussen, when 55% of full-time U.S. workers reported not having the income to keep pace with inflation.

Retirement and being debt-free softens the blow but I feel for people with children, car payment and a mortgage. They must really love Biden and Janet Yellen right now.

And for those with incomes that have risen with inflation, the progressive income tax has eaten up the difference. However if they carry a lot of debt they get to repay borrowed money with money of lower value.

We don't need "workers say"! That sounds as if it's only true if some "worker" says it is. Look at the numbers and skip the "polls"!

And it's all by design. The plan is to destroy the middle class which will then destroy the economy. Remember inflation and interest rates are rising not because the middle class spending, but because the government, Biden and the democrats are doing all of the spending. Just financing the war in Ukraine and the hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars given to support the illegal parasites crossing our borders. They same people who are causing the inflation are the ones increasing interest rates and doing the spending to destroy us. Think about it. Communist democrats are using our own money to destroy us. Get it yet.

Smart Ldotters. There are a lot of people who's income is tied to the price of goods and they be keeping pace. Most are still just breaking even. Even if you make more money you have to buy more expensive things.

Yeah, 2%, no raises, and layoffs would fall below an inflation rate of 10% a year.

Most of the people in my circle of friends are underwater. The cost of grocery items has shot up over 20% in some cases and everyone of them has cut back on spending. Christmas was a lot less cheery and they reigned in costs for presents. Eating out is simply a luxury that is no longer and option and rarely chosen now. Mortgage rates are way too high, and all the businesses tied to building are affected. Many like me have re-entered the work force to recover the loss in purchasing power, and it has been a godsend!

The Bidens have shown a legendary skill at evading legal accountability. Even in the face of overwhelming evidence, Biden family members often marshal political allies and media to kill investigations or cut sweetheart deals. The Bidens swim in scandal with the ease and agility of a bottlenose dolphin. From his own plagiarism scandal to his brother’s role in killing a man to his son’s various federal crimes, Bidens have long been a wonder in Washington. It turns out that it may be something of a family trait acquired through generations of natural selection. A historian recently discovered that Joe Biden’s great-great-grandfather, Moses J. In 1892, Lord Alfred Bruce Douglas, Oscar Wilde's lover, wrote a poem called "Two Loves" which referred euphemistically to "the love that dare not speak its name." At that time, homosexuals were expected to keep their sexual orientation and relationships secret. In 1986, Norman Podhoretz published a groundbreaking essay in Commentary Magazine called "The Hate That Dare Not Speak Its Name," which put the subject of antisemitism in American journalism on the public radar. Now it's time for America to confront the Abuse That Dare Not Speak Its Name: elder abuse. And the victim is none other than President Joe Biden.

From her speech yesterday at CPAC, you would never have guessed Tulsi Gabbard ran as a Democratic candidate for president just three years ago. In fact, one could easily mistake her for a card carrying, gun toting, God loving MAGA acolyte. Not at all uncomfortable in front of a sea of populist conservatives, the former House representative from Hawaii expressed her gratitude to the audience for making her feel “right at home.” She spoke of her disdain for the Washington elite establishment with as much enthusiasm as any young buck Republican in the House. Her support of the second amendment rolled off her tongue as easily as

Democrats may be changing their minds about former President Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential election, according to a new poll. Trump has long received low marks from Democrats, who have long opposed him on a wide range of issues including immigration, abortion rights and the economy, but a Harvard/Harris CAPS poll released this week found that Democrats' general approval of the former president has risen since he left office in January 2021.

Last week Republicans lost one of their precious seats in the House of Representatives reducing their slim majority to near invisibility. Interestingly, this did not have to happen. The vacancy giving rise to the special election in New York 3, was intentionally created by the Republicans themselves. A cynic might say with opponents like these, the Democrats can stroll through their victory lap. An influential group of Republican congressmen, including the Republican Chair of the House Ethics Committee, decided the behavior, or misbehavior, of their erstwhile colleague, George Santos, was unworthy of a Republican Congressman.

There is excellent news for the American industry, economy, and international trade sectors. The discovery of colossal rare earth deposits in Wyoming could essentially restructure the global supply chain of these crucial elements in the near future. A discovery of 2.34 billion metric tons of rare earth elements (REEs) in a mine outside of Sheridan, Wyoming, has generated great excitement across industries stateside. The United States has vetoed one United Nations resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, but President Joe Biden is reportedly proposing a separate ceasefire resolution that would also call on Israel to abandon its plan to crush the remnants of Hamas in the city of Rafah. Before Hamas massacred innocent Israelis on Oct. 7, there were 24 Hamas regional battalions in Gaza. These have been reduced to six, and they are in Rafah. The city must be taken. Hamas must not
