Squabbling over semantics, the former president accused a “RINO” Fox News host of falling into the “proverbial ‘Trump’ trap” after getting fact-checked.
Simply setting the record straight wasn’t enough for former President Donald Trump who once again lashed out at Fox News. Despite airtime that included a town hall running counter to the latest GOP primary debate he opted out of attending, he took aim at “Fox & Friends” co-host Steve Doocy after a claim on the New Hampshire primary seemed to prove misleading.
“Unwatchable RINO Steve Doocy of Fox & Friends, which is suffering mightily from a lack of interest and Ratings Decline,

I do not see why people watch the Fox and Friends other than it is somewhat better than CBS etal. Lawrence is a welcome addition. They would be better served with a pretty co-host with a modicum of intelligence. Miss South Carolina should take a hike!

Steve Doocy was just stating facts. While I love Trump, he was making it sound like Democrats could just walk into the voting booth on primary day and vote Republican for Nikki Haley. Doocy was simply stating what the rule is in NH.

There might just be a few other things causing Trump's reaction. Could it be the fall of Fox News altogether?

This is Trump’s least attractive trait. It isn’t about Fox News. It’s about Trump’s overreactions and his knee jerk responses, heaping childish insults on anyone he thinks crossed him. Pick your battles Donald.

Why can't Trump always rise above pettiness? He does know how as with his comments about DeSantis after the Governor withdrew. He is my once and future President but he often forgets the importance of BEING presidential. President Trump, please act the part and you'll be amazed at how those suburban ladies will ever more flock to your side.

It's this exact behavior that turns a lot of people off. His base will always stay with him, regardless, but he needs more than that to win.

He's so petty that Donald. Newsmax played this morning his acknowlegemnt of DeSantis dropping out of race and appreciation for his support. Very classy. Donald acknowledged the hard work by Gov DeSantis, his wife and family.

This is his character trait I hate the most. He could have corrected the misunderstanding and simply let the rest go. He did not need to mention Steve and certainly no need to belittle him, totally unnecessary. When my son would start to blow a gasket I would ask him was it worth his time and energy to get so unhinged. Save that emotion for something that deserves it, this wasn't it. This makes him look petty not presidential. And the constant rehashing of the last election and the trashing of FOX is getting old. Sometimes saying nothing speaks volumes.

Tricky Nikki won ONE county in Iowa, and by only ONE vote...they had 75 "Party Switch" forms on hand, ran out early in the evening, had to scramble for printing paper from several nearby homes to print off enough more forms to cover all of the "New" participants in the Repub Caucus, that had been Dems(and likely will switch back for the General election). Fully 20%+ of the entire caucus votes were Party Switchers.
Several major Dems and media "Influencers" and Nevertrumpers have called for the same actions to be taken in NH....
"By any means available", because The "Ends" justify it. "All is Fair"...in War.
Make no mistake they consider Politics as WAR, war itself? Mere Politics.

Anyone who has been paying attention must know by now that the Fox News Channel has been supporting Nikki Haley who has been constantly appearing on their shows. They should also recognize by now that there are a lot of Biden Democrats who have temporarily switched their voter registration from Democrat to Republican, in an attempt to sabotage the Republican primaries by voting for Haley, who will then switch their voter registrations back to Democrat and vote for Biden or another Democrat candidate in the General Election in November.

Doocy does often pick up the argument against Trump. i rarely watch, preferring to watch Maria Bartiromo from whom i get much more news and valuable info, but when i default to Fox News, Doocy usually irritates more than Ainsley's fake perpetual smile.

Doocy is the only one at KJP's pressers that can get her Jocky's in a twist. I'm not voting for Miss Manners, I'm voting for a strong POTUS.

Given what Trump has had to endure over the last eight years and still is enduring, I think Trump has earned the right to overreact #5. Indeed, I suspect the overreaction of Trump mirrors those of his followers who are true patriots. We've had enough of these phony indictments, the lies directed at him, and the complete corruption of everything D.C. and the media.
