It’s one of those cases where you know they’re wrong. You could probably ignore them, but it’s the liberal media, so you attack at them like a pod of orcas. Better yet, like orcas, play with your prey before mutilating and devouring it. That’s what’s happening with some in the establishment media trying to say that “learn to code” was never a thing and that Joe Biden never said it. Like their allies in the Democratic Party and now the Department of Justice, these people just lie.
It's a phrase created by this insular circle aimed at working Americans whose jobs were being unnecessarily targeted by Democrats, specifically Barack Obama,

As President Biden escalates the federal government's assault on Texas and the Lone Star State's efforts to secure its border with Mexico after the Biden administration abdicated such responsibilities, Governor Greg Abbott is doubling down on his efforts to enforce the international border and reminding Biden that doing so is within Texas' constitutionally protected rights.
Reiterating that President Biden has "broken the compact between the United States and the States," Abbott says in a fiery and justifiably defiant statement that "James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and the other visionaries who wrote the U.S. Constitution foresaw that States should not be left to the mercy of a lawless president

University of Georgia alumni and fans are in mourning this week after the passing of the football team’s former mascot, Uga X, whose actual name was Que. Que passed away on Tuesday, less than a year after passing the collar on to Boom, who took the title Uga XI.
“Que retired following the 2022 season after becoming the most decorated of all the Bulldog mascots,” the University of Georgia announced in a press release. “He compiled a football record of 91-18, presided over two SEC titles and the 2021 and 2022 College Football Playoff national championships, and seven New Year's Six bowl appearances.” [Tweet, video]

“Customers — not regulations or politics — should make that decision" to buy an electric vehicle, according to the latest report on Toyota chairman Akio Toyoda. Despite generous government subsidies for the manufacture and purchase of electric vehicles, Toyota has concentrated its research and development on other alternative power trains, like hybrids and hydrogen fuel cells.
“I have continued to say what I see as reality… if regulations are created based on ideals,” Toyoda said in a similar statement last year. "It is regular users who are the ones who suffer,” like the billion Earthlings who live without electricity, as Toyoda said this week.

Well, that didn't take long.
Donald Trump will be our nominee. My choice was Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) for a myriad of reasons that I've already stated. But the Republican base has spoken, and the man who already got my vote twice will get it a third time. Eyes on the prize. The goal here is the White House, not another circular firing squad.
The next big question is who Trump will choose to be his vice presidential candidate. He has dropped hints that he already has one chosen, but his advisors are being more vague about it.

Perhaps the one thing Hamas didn't count on was its inability to command total public support in Gaza. Residents of the embattled territory took to the streets on Wednesday morning to demand their terrorist government release the remaining Israeli hostages taken during the October 7th massacre. [Tweet, video]
The protest occurred near a hospital, prompted by anger at Hamas for putting civilians in the position they've been placed in. As has been said many times, the war would end immediately if Hamas simply surrendered and turned over the hostages. Instead, the terrorist group, including its psychotic leader Yahya Sinwar, has burrowed underground, content to prolong the conflict.

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, TEXAS — While the Biden administration focuses its time and resources attacking the state of Texas for its work to take up the duty of enforcing the U.S.-Mexico border abdicated by the federal government, the crisis continues to worsen. December saw another new record for the number of illegal immigrants encountered by border agents at more than 300,000, and the alarming number of illegal immigrants whose identities are flagged in terror databases continues to be a risk our country can't afford.
While Biden's border crisis has been worsening since his first day in office,

Boeing should just declare bankruptcy because the company has suffered an atrocious month filled with investigations, pieces falling off their airplanes, and parts blowing off mid-flight. It all began when a door panel blew off a routine flight from Portland, Oregon, to Ontario, California. Scores of flights using the 737 Max 9 were again grounded nationwide. Airlines inspecting this model found that screws needed to be tightened. The Federal Aviation Administration’s order later became indefinite, but that didn’t stop the calamity.
Last week, a Boeing cargo plane was spraying flames, making an emergency landing in Miami. That was after the FAA announced a total audit of Boeing’s manufacturing process.

In crime-plagued Oakland, the city achieved a "historic first" that they'd probably rather not advertise:
According to the San Francisco Standard:
In-N-Out Burger announced Sunday that it plans to close its Oakland location within the next two months due to what it described as "ongoing issues with crime."
Fine and undandy.
In California, especially Southern California, but also in the north, In-N-Out Burgers is an institution.
Older than McDonald's, it's popular because of its non-processed food with no chemicals to give you a headache, and for its simple menu with the best prices on the fast food scene of California. People love the place, it's iconic,

The remains of a new dad killed at the World Trade Center on 9/11 have finally been identified more than two decades later — thanks to groundbreaking new DNA technology.
John Ballantine Niven, 44, of Oyster Bay, Long Island, was on the 105th floor of the South Tower when he was killed on that fateful Tuesday — leaving behind his wife and 18-month-old son.
The new father was the senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions at Aon Risk Services.
His remains have been positively identified using breakthrough DNA sequencing technology, along with a mitochondrial DNA analysis and other procedures that have been refined since the 2001 terror attack,

Henry Agard Wallace, the 33rd vice president of the United States, was a peculiar fellow.
He didn’t drink, smoke or swear.
He didn’t like telling jokes, reading fiction or playing golf. In fact, he hated any pursuit in which he could discern no scope for self-improvement.
While highly intelligent, Wallace struggled in social situations, as author Benn Steil explains in “The World That Wasn’t: Henry Wallace and the Fate of The American Century” (Avid Reader Press).
Steil believes Wallace actually had Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism spectrum disorder first highlighted by Austrian physician Hans Asperger in 1944 — Wallace’s final year as vice president.

An American Airlines flight attendant was arrested Thursday after he allegedly recorded multiple young girls with a hidden camera as they used bathrooms aboard flights he was working.
Estes Carter Thompson III, 36, was caught redhanded in September by a 14-year-old girl he attempted to secretly film in a plane restroom — which set off a federal probe that revealed videos of four prior victims.
Thompson allegedly possessed recordings of four minor female passengers — as young as 7 — using the bathroom aboard aircraft he had worked on previously, the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced on Thursday.
