According to court records released Friday, the husband of deceased Jan. 6 protester Ashli Babbitt has filed a $30 million wrongful death lawsuit against the U.S. government. Attorneys with Judicial Watch, a conservative legal group, filed the suit in California federal court on behalf of Aaron Babbitt, which claims wrongful death and assault and battery. Babbitt was shot and killed by Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd during the breach of the Capitol Building as she tried to climb through the smashed window of a barricaded door near the House chamber.

If a policeman of any color had shot an unarmed black woman that posed no threat of life to them...when there were policemen in the vicinity capable of subduing the suspect....well there would have been nationwide riots by now.

May God bless and comfort this man and the family. It's hard to imagine suffering such a senseless, stupid, and cruel loss, let alone having to live with the fact that the criminal works for and is protected by a corrupt government. I have seen calls for naming Jan 6 as Ashli Babbitt Day - wouldn't that be a fitting honor!

How many millions of people have seen Michael Byrd stick his hand out holding the gun and shooting Ashli Babbitt. SHE WAS NOT CLIMBING THROUGH THE WINDOW. I hope he gets every penny and then some. What a travesty of justice this has been, along with the J6 prisoners, and I pray justice for them will come from somewhere. Evidently our side isn't going to do anything.

Barack Obama recently had an off-the-books White House lunch with President Joe Biden to share his concerns and advice about his former running mate's campaign, according to a new report. Obama grew 'animated' as he discussed the 2024 election and Donald Trump's bid to return to the presidency, and suggested Biden should restructure his campaign to be more agile, the Washington Post reported on Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter. The lunch meeting reportedly occurred in recent months, but has not been previously reported, and Obama does not appear in the White House visitor logs,

A mob of sticky-fingered migrants stormed into Manhattan’s Bloomingdale’s and tried to swipe a trove of Versace, Dior and Prada designer sunglasses totaling $5,300 — before all but one of them escaped, police sources said Sunday. About 15 asylum-seekers swarmed the high-end Midtown retailer shortly before 6:30 p.m. Saturday and grabbed more than a dozen pairs of the pricey sunglasses before making a run for it, sources said. An alert cop on paid detail at the store was able to grab one of the crooks while the rest ran off, according to sources. Stiven Matos, 23, was charged with robbery, criminal possession of stolen property, possession of

Cape Canaveral, Fla.— The first U.S. lunar lander in more than 50 years rocketed toward the moon Monday, launching private companies on a space race to make deliveries for NASA and other customers. Astrobotic Technology’s lander caught a ride on a brand new rocket, United Launch Alliance’s Vulcan. The Vulcan streaked through the Florida predawn sky, putting the spacecraft on a roundabout route to the moon that should culminate with an attempted landing on Feb. 23. “So, so, so excited. We are on our way to the moon!” Astrobotic chief executive John Thornton said. The Pittsburgh company aims to be the first private business to successfully land on the moon,

A review of polls conducted by Bloomberg found that Trump is poised to take 14 percent to 30 percent of the black vote. Trump only won eight percent of the black vote in 2020, according to data analyzed by the Pew Research Center. This small number was still more than any other Republican candidate before him. The disqualification of former President Donald Trump from the ballot in several states may depend on whether the U.S. Supreme Court believes that the president of the United States is an “officer of the United States” according to Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Trump, the leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, was disqualified from appearing on the primary ballots in Colorado and Maine after the former’s Supreme Court and the latter’s Secretary of State Shenna Bellows, respectively, ruled that he was ineligible for federal office under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

The announcement would either be made that same night or the following morning - - and with it a reluctant endorsement for Trump and the governor would not move on to New Hampshire, scheduled for January 23.

The plight of broadcast TV prospects has been woeful for years already. Cord-cutting - while acknowledged and battled for some time - has actually accelerated in the past couple of years. The carriage dispute between Disney and Spectrum in the fall of 2023 reflected this, as the cable provider was not attempting to strongarm the entertainment giant; it simply could not afford any higher fees due to customer flight. With more people jumping to streaming, the four major networks have experienced a severe erosion, with the annual top series-- outside of sports programming--not able to average more than 10 million viewers per episode.

William Penn may have founded the state of Pennsylvania but the iconic historic figure could soon find himself canceled by the leftist cultural revolution that has wormed its way into the highest corridors of government. In a move that would be expected from totalitarian religious zealots like ISIS or the Taliban, President Joe Biden’s National Park Service plans to remove Penn’s statue from Philadelphia’s Welcome Park, a site that has become very unwelcoming to white “colonizers” like Penn under radical Interior Secretary Deb Haaland. The agency will be seeking input on the “rehabilitation” of Welcome Park, another of the authoritarian left’s Orwellian terms that mask its extremism,
