The New Hampshire House on Thursday voted in favor of banning doctors from performing gender-related surgeries on minors, but not the proscription of other treatments such as hormone therapy. The bill passed in a 199-175 vote, according to The Hill. It next heads to the Republican-controlled Senate. The lower chamber also approved a measure requiring that athletes compete on teams in line with their sex. Twenty-two states have enacted bans on transgender surgeries for minors, according to the pro-LGBT Movement Advancement Project. Twenty-one of those have also banned lesser medical treatments.

When my mom had breast cancer 30 years ago it was blamed on hormone therapy to relieve menopause symptoms. I guess they don't worry about that kind of thing anymore. People diagnosed with cancer is a windfall to the medical establishment. I think they like increases in cancer rates.

"New Hampshire House approves transgender surgeries, sports bans" - then read the text and discover the bill banned transgender surgeries. The contradictory headline was found at the linked site, so don't blame this on Lucianne. Don't believe everything you read, sometimes the fake news is even created by accident. A better line might be: "New Hampshire House approves bans on transgender surgeries and sports. " I am still not clear on whether all sports would be banned or just some sports?

Philadelphia Democratic Mayor Cherelle Parker declared crime a public safety emergency her first day in office through an executive order that calls on the city's police department to "vigorously enforce" existing laws and for officials to develop a plan to increase the number of police officers. Parker, Philadelphia's 100th mayor and the first female, took over the office from former Mayor Jim Kenney when she was formally inaugurated Tuesday.

For the fifth year in a row, New Hampshire has been named the best place in North America for economic freedom — and the many benefits that come with it. The report, compiled by the Canada-based Fraser Institute, found the ranking is more than just a Chamber of Commerce talking point. “The vast majority of the results find higher levels of economic freedom to be correlated with positive outcomes, such as economic growth, lower unemployment, reduced poverty, and so on,” the Institute reported.

Former New Hampshire Speaker of the House Steve Shurtleff (D-Penacook), who co-chaired Joe Biden’s 2020 Granite State campaign, announced Tuesday he’s endorsing Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) in the First in the Nation primary. “Because of the New Hampshire primary, that is my prime reason for supporting the congressman,” Shurtleff told WGIR radio host Chris Ryan. “For 100 years now, we’ve done the New Hampshire primary right.” Back in January, Shurtleff said publicly that if Biden allowed the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to take away the state’s First in the Nation status, he would consider endorsing someone else in the 2024 contest

The federal government peddled technology to Big Tech companies to assist them in censoring Americans’ speech on social media in the run-up to the 2020 election, according to emails Missouri and Louisiana uncovered in their First Amendment lawsuit against the Biden administration. Specifically, the State Department marketed this censorship technology through its Global Engagement Center. In other words, our tax dollars not only funded the development of tools to silence speech that dissented from the regime’s narrative. They also paid for government employees to act as sales reps pitching the censorship products to Big Tech.

The train was carrying several cars of vinyl chloride and other toxic chemicals en route from Madison, Illinois, to Conway, Pennsylvania, before 38 of its 141 cars derailed at around 9 p.m. local time. Eleven of the derailed cars contained hazardous materials, per the National Transportation and Safety Board.

That message is even more needed today, in the final stages of the most critical election for the survival of the American experiment since 1864. Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released a 156-page report Thursday morning accusing Trump of exploiting the presidency to financially benefit himself and members of his family. Trump’s businesses, according to the report, received at least $7.8 million from corrupt and authoritarian governments including China, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. We are about to embark on what might be one of the wildest years in the history of American politics, and it may end up merely a prelude. If 2024 is set to be tumultuous and unpredictable, just wait until 2025 if Donald Trump wins the presidency again this year. His adversaries don’t have a history of accepting his victories with equanimity. Trump’s unexpected victory in 2016 launched conspiracy theories about how Russia had helped him win; catalyzed a years-long law enforcement investigation into him and his campaign based on those theories; and set off protests in the streets. All that was mild, given what may yet be in the offing.

They think that everyone should bend the knee to them and accede to all their demands however unworkable or bad those demands might be. If they scream loud enough, they think they can succeed by bullying people. We've seen things from the crazy or concerning to the dangerous. But I have to say, this new video I just saw is pretty funny. Think anti-Israel Karen, and then you get where this video is going.

As the decisions disqualifying former President Donald Trump from the 2024 election work their way through the courts, a new filing in Pennsylvania seeks the same “ballot cleansing” by barring Rep. We have become a nation of Madame Defarges — eagerly knitting names of those to be subject to arbitrary justice. Former congressional candidate Gene Stilp, who’s made headlines by burning MAGA flags with swastikas outside courthouses, filed the challenge. Using the 14th Amendment to disqualify candidates like Perry is consistent with Stilp’s signature flag-burning stunts.

Palm Beach, Florida — Former President Donald Trump, the Republican frontrunner for president in 2024, told Breitbart News exclusively during a two-hour-plus interview at Mar-a-Lago last week that the person who gets the nod for vice president will not make much difference in the grand scheme of things regarding winning the election. “If you study the history of presidential runs, a vice president has never made a difference—which is surprising,” Trump said. “It’s a one-night story, and then they’re back to a regular evening. They’re voting for the president. They’re not voting for the vice president.
