NYC ordinance banning ‘body size discrimination’
goes into effect

Original Article

In early October, I wrote a blog on a social media “fatfluencer” whose very serious demands for widened hotel hallways and extra airplane seats for the morbidly obese had rolled her into my sphere of awareness. The young woman, who is in her mid-twenties, was petitioning businesses to adopt a “customer-of-size policy” and urging private establishments to provide “size-inclusive” amenities so that ultra-fat people could enjoy the same things as everyone else. But, at the time I penned the essay, I had no idea that in New York City, an ordinance of this very nature was already on the books, and now it’s gone into effect.

All vehicles will have to be redesigned as 300 pounders can't fit under the steering wheel comfortably. Chair capacities will have to be increased to 400 pounds to allow for the occasional fat person. Airlines will have to take out 2/3's of their seats. Sidewalks and doorways will need to be widened. Pots and pans will have to be doubled in size to accommodate larger meals.

If you don't at least try to discourage obesity, then the same people that you're trying to "help" will probably die at an earlier age then if they carried less weight. The government should be encouraging people to live healthier lives, not discouraging it.

#3: IMO, with all the things the government has done in the last several years specifically to harm/kill us I doubt they're interested in encouraging us to be healthy. I gather the virus and the jab didn't quite reduce the population as much as they had hoped. Everyone knows or should know that being overweight causes so many health problems it would not be outside the realm of possibility that the government would decree "Fat's Where It's At" to help promote and protect an unhealthy lifestyle. The NWO is right around the corner ~ or so they think ~ there's still a little time left to reduce the population to more manageable numbers. Sorry to say, this "government" doesn't wish us well at all. I apologize for my cynicism.

You can't design a car, a chair, airline/train/bus seat to accomadate the wide range of humans. A male 6'0" to 7' 0" basketball player cannot fite in a 'normal' size vehicle/seat designed to accomidate a small or normal sized woman. Liberals NEVER have to deal with the consequence of their idiotic actions.

So, does this mean that tiny children can ride the dangerous carnival rides? You know, the ones that have signs in front of them that say "You must be ___ THIS tall to ride"? And How about the next re-make of The Wizard of OZ... Does this mean that when casting for Munchkins, they have to hire Jason Momoa, Dwayne Johnson , Dolph Lundgren etc?

I realized long ago that some people who don't have weight issues think it's because they do everything right. Not so. We can accept body difference in everything except weight. You can be a drunk or drug addict and have a 'disease.' But if you are overweight, you are lazy and eat too much. That's true for some people, but not for everyone. The topic of weight just gives people a freebie to insult people they know nothing about.

The comedian Richard Lewis, of blessed memory, is credited with the formulation “the x from hell.” Having watched President Biden’s State of the Union Address last night in order to comment on it this morning, I found it to be the SOTU from hell. I have posted the White House video at the bottom. Herewith are my impressions of Biden’s delivery and my observations on the speech in the form of bullet points:

Super Tuesday may have been the day that Joe Biden lost the 2024 presidential election and Donald Trump won it. Both outcomes will have had nothing to do with the vote tallies on Tuesday when a third of the nominating delegates were up for grabs. This moment will have had everything to do with Biden's treachery and Trump's rectitude, if you can believe it. Let's back up for a moment for those curious enough to have read this far. After "justice," the next job of government is the nation's security. In order to accomplish that, elected leaders are required by the binding contract with citizens — the Constitution —

Customs and Border Protection has refused to disclose information about a program last year secretly arranging flights for thousands of undocumented immigrants from foreign airports directly to U.S. cities. It means that while record numbers of migrants were flowing over the southern border last year, the Biden White House was also directly transporting them into the country. Any voter who listened to a stump speech from former South Carolina Gov. "He lost 40% of the primary vote in all of the early states," she said last week at a campaign rally in Minnesota. "You can't win the general election if you can't win that 40% [back]." Haley was exaggerating. For example, in the 15 GOP states that voted on Super Tuesday, she has gotten less than 20%
