President Joe Biden is going after those who he feels aren't paying their fair share such as Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos as his office plans to raise taxes for corporations and billionaires.
The aging Democrat, 81, will make the announcement during the annual State of the Union address Thursday night. Corporate tax will rise from 21 percent to 25 percent and a 25 percent tax for those with wealth of over $100 million.
White House officials said Biden would preview the steps that will be part of a proposed fiscal 2025 budget released next week that aims to cut the federal deficit by $3 trillion

Talk about "billionaires" is always a red herring. We tax income, not wealth. No one makes a billion dollars a year.....well, perhaps one or two people, but they are politically connected and will be shielded. This is just the usual Dem Party tactic of dividing people.

Tax and spend - Joey Baby's mantra. Don't forget price controls Joey Baby - as you have no business acumen. Minimum wage - $50 / hour. Utopia is just around the corner, right - JB?

We have taken in MILLIONS of illegals with little-to-nothing to offer for their upkeep. They are expensive pets. Biden needs the taxes for the votes they will eventually provide. Cough it up, America.

Every Republican should bring a loaf of Panera bread. When they say "tax the rich" they mean take from anyone who doesn't kick back to The Big Guy.

Brilliant, Joe. If you a had a brain in that skull of yours you would realize that corporations DO NOT pay taxes! They collect them! Taxes are a cost of doing business and have to be added to the cost of a product or service. This is just more class warfare. And if I hear him say anything about “pay your fair share” I hope someone in the audience yells out that Hunter didn’t pay his taxes and got slapped with significant penalties.

top 5% already pay 40% of all Taxes.
What would the economic impacts be if the "National Rates & Policies" were altered to Match his "Tax Haven" home state of Delaware?
How much debt/deficit reduction would be achieved by a 25% Tax on ALL checks/payments/wire transfers/remittances by aliens back to their home countries?

This reminds me of when candidate Walter Mondale said he wanted to raise taxes, who then got clobbered in the election. If the Biden team thinks running on a platform to raise taxes while real incomes are down and the economy sputtering then he will reap the deserved wrath of the voters.

The government doesn't have money to pay for everything. They have to get it somewhere. Heard to trickle-down economics? This will be trickle down taxation. Guaranteed the rich won't eat this and pass the added expense down to the consumer.
I just want to know what they are going to sell off next.

FJB needs more money to send to the border so he can get more people over the border and into the interior of America. It costs a lot to change America into a third world country. Costs so much more to buy votes these days. Use to be a $20 bill and a pack of smokes would buy a straight D ticket voter. FJB

First, Biden can't dictate this and must get Congress to do tax hikes. Second, he wants billionaires and successful people to "pay their fair share" while his crime family has received millions and millions from other countries and hasn't paid his fair share on that income. Hypocrite, thy name is Joe Biden

Biden's "race card" was already overdrawn so he looked in his wallet and pulled out the "eeeeevil capitalists" card. I don't think his wealthy Jewish supporters are gonna go for that.

The problem is that a very large percentage of the voting public doesn't understand the fundamentals of cost accounting that #6 so clearly explains. So these people actually believe it when political hacks like Biden tell them that he will make those evil corporations pay their 'fair share' in taxes. So these ignorant people become democrats.
