Our forgotten first war against Islamic terrorists

Original Article

Most Americans seem to have forgotten our first war against Muslims. In the late 18th century, our objection to Islamist practice was their piracy and slaving against our ships and sailors in the Mediterranean Sea. In 1794, provoked by Algerian captures of American ships, our Congress authorized construction of the first six ships of the U.S. Navy, including the U.S.S. Constitution, still in commissioned service and now docked in Boston. In 1795, our diplomats negotiated treaties with the Muslim states of Algiers, Tunis, and Tripoli to pay them tribute for the privilege of free passage. But in 1801, the Pasha of Tripoli, citing late payments of tribute, demanded additional money

Comments:

I have known the history of this through various angles, like the building of the US Navy, largely to protect US merchant shipping from the "Barbary pirates" which were the Muslim North Aftican terrorists who had been rading commerce and taking slaves all along the coast of Europe for hundreds of years. Millions of white Europeans were captured by coastal raiding Muslim slavers in the 1600s through the 1800s when the US Navy and the British navy to some extent, ended it, with a violent attack. The USMC officer's ceremonial sword, to this day, takes it's design from a sword given by a North African chieftain in thanks to Lt. O'Bannon for his daring attack on the Barbary pirates.

People seem to have forgotten the lesson of 9-11 and they don't even know of the muzzie threat of over 200 years ago. That Islam can keep this up for so long proves a deficiency among part of the human race.

Nothing has changed for over 200 years. Nothing has changed for more than 1400 years. Far too many innocent people have died cruel and horribly painful deaths for simply not being Muslim. If a few are dying for being Muslim. I am not losing any sleep over it!

Islamic barbarian slave raiders captured millions of white Europeans and sold them into slavery and usually a horrible death in the African slave markets and trade. The whiny American blacks that imagine that ONLY THEIR ancestors were subjected to this are ignorant fools. Slavery was everywhere in the 1600s until it was stamped out by British and American ships in the 18th century. And, slavery still exists in many Muslim countries today - but nobody wants to talk about it.

A movie with a similar factual scenario came out in 1975, The Wind and the Lion, set in 1904, a presidential election year, with the bulk of the story set in Morocco, during Teddy Roosevelt's first administration. In it the Pasha of Tangier violently took American hostages, and demanded an unreasonably, large ransom even by Arab Muslim standards. Roosevelt dispatched the South Atlantic Squadron of the U.S. Navy, along with a Marine ground combat element. Due to stalemated negotiations, Admiral Chadwick, in charge of the Naval Squadron, sent his Marines to retrieve the hostages or force the Pasha to negotiate their release. The Marine captain marches his Marines through the streets of Tangier and shell the Pasha's palace, forcing him to "negotiate." Of course, the Germans in Morocco try to stab the U.S. in the back but the Americans team with the insurrectionist Berbers to defeat the German and Moroccan troops. Old, but satisfying flick.

Animals products > plant products and chemicals....Who agrees? Vegans combing 5+ carcinogens and 10+ industrial chemicals to make "food" instead of just eating an egg. After what the global political class just did to us, it should come as no surprise that we don’t trust anything they have to say about health and safety, and there’s a silver lining to the systemic corruption that exploded into visibility once COVID hit the scenes; from a Telegraph article published Saturday: Beef burgers are back on the menu as demand for vegan food plunges.

Here’s a story that by my account, flew relatively under the radar—according to an October Facebook post by an organization of firefighters in Hollywood, Florida: On Sunday Oct 1st, a Tesla Model S [sic] was attempting to back a jet ski into the water at the Polk Street boat ramp, when it lost traction and slid into the inter-coastal [sic]. The salt water reacted with the the [sic] vehicle’s electronics causing them to short, sparking a fire that burned underwater for an extended period of time. The fire was allowed to burn underwater until it extinguished itself.

What is Islam? To answer that question, it’s more important to know what Islam isn’t. Islam is not a religion. It is an authoritarian, political ideology that forcibly imposes itself on all aspects of any society unfortunate enough to be under its yoke. Islam demands complete subjugation by its adherents. [snip] Islam allows no dissent. It is a complete and total way of life that glorifies oppression, slavery, and death. Islam has religious, legal, political, economic, cultural, and military components. The religious component is the veil that hides the dangers.

The Walt Disney Company just cannot do anything right these days. Earlier this week, Disney CEO Bob Iger admitted that the company “lost some focus” with their content decisions and execution. That was a significant understatement, and given the myriad of problems they’ve created for themselves, fixing it was already a monumental task. And that was before Disney got the first box office results from Marvel Studios’ latest signature release, The Marvels. Pre-release tracking had suggested that The Marvels could gross $75 million to $80 million in its opening weekend, which would have been a disastrous failure for a film with an estimated $270 million production budget.

John Carpenter was a pretty amazing filmmaker in his early years. He took three pumpkins, a bag of leaves, a poorly tuned piano, a half-in-the-bag lead actor, bad lighting, and an awful script and turned all that into a cinematic masterpiece. Halloween isn’t a cinematic masterpiece like Stanley Kubrick’s Barry Linden is...but for what John Carpenter was working with, he achieved an impressive financial and visual result. But as creepy as John Carpenter’s Halloween was, the story...was dumb. So much of the modern “horror” genre is dumb. Zombies and vampires and serial killers who don’t die — it’s all been done over and over again.

Recently on X, formerly known as Twitter, I wrote the following regarding the Oct. 7 Hamas incursion into Israel: “No context is needed: Jews are warmongers fit for annihilation. Israel must be eradicated.” It has since come to my attention that people actually read what I wrote and have taken it wildly out of context, causing quite a kerfuffle. Thanks to the release of depositions in a sexual harassment law suit, we now know just how thoroughly corrupt was the prosecution of former Minneapolis police offer Derek Chauvin and his three colleagues in the May 2020 death of George Floyd. The depositions were taken this summer in response to a lawsuit filed by Amy Sweasy, a former Hennepin County prosecutor, against her then boss, former County Attorney Mike Freeman. Sweasy alleges that Freeman engaged in sex discrimination and professional retaliation. Whatever Freeman did or did not do to Sweasy, however, pales in comparison to what both of them and their colleagues did to the cops they prosecuted
