One More Gone Woke: Girl Scouts Stick
With BLM, Will Train to 'Decenter' Whiteness

Sure, your daughter slings a mean pack of Do-si-dos, but how's her anti-KKK game? The Girls Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) aims to ensure it's badge-worthy. In case you're unfamiliar, "antiracism" isn't the mere absence of prejudice. Rather, it identifies people as oppressors or victims -- the former category being congenitally Caucasian. UCLA Law Professor Kimberlé Crenshaw puts it this way: “Antiracism is the active dismantling of systems, privileges, and everyday practices that reinforce and normalize the contemporary dimensions of white dominance. This, of course, also involves a critical understanding of the history of whiteness in America.”

I truly hope that somehow, someday, you see the goodness and fairness in living as free, intelligent individuals who aren't crippled by the fear of not comforming to idiocy.

RE #10: Check Dollar General for those Thin Mints. They have excellent knockoffs ata fraction of the price of Girl Scout cookies. I remember my years in Girl Scouts in the 70's. Camping, meetings, crafts, selling cookies door to door and those songs that are still stuck in my brain, even after all those years. These days, I wouldn't allow my daughters anywhere near a Girl Scout meeting. At this point, they have crossed to the dark side and are antithicalto everything I believe!

And, that is why I no longer buy Girl Scout cookies, nor do I support the organization. Unfortunately, most people who still buy the cookies are usually guilted into it by a family member, friend, neighbor or colleague, and have no clue about the politics they are supporting. I can make my own cookies.

OK, then; let's fast forward several years into the future after the GSA has "decentered" whiteness and former white members are gleefully boasting about how they were involved in that process. Now comes job search time and these young ladies will discover that while they will be allowed to populate the lower rungs of their chosen career they will be prohibited from advancement..... management trainee classes will not be open to them etc. Will they have enough self-awareness to realize they've "decentered" themselves to the point they're second or third class citizens who are told they must be not only satisfied but grateful for their new lot in life.

And they seem to be popping up like mushrooms. More power to the free market! My personal belief is that our female population are the ones pushing the bulk of this black and woke nonsense. It's no secret that most white males no longer hold any respect or particularly like blacks after all of the verbal abuse and crimes perpetrated against us because we are white. Affirmative action, preferences in jobs and education due to skin color got them what they wanted in the short term but long term damage will affect them for at least three generations. You can all thank Barack Hussein Obama for it. There are probably some male university professors still on your side but they are wrong about most everything else they teach as well.

The Girl Scouts you knew, like almost EVERYTHING you personally know about when you were growing up, is GONE. As society has changed through the years due to improved technology and the fact that in the mid-1950s the demographic of more people growing up in small town rural America the population shifted to the urban areas, and with it, the traditional time-honored values changed. The country is now essentially driven by the moral decay and worrldly values of the big cities. While I am the father of a "Gold Award" daughter (the GS equivalent of the Boy Scout Eagle Scout Award) and lifetime member of GSs, I have been appalled by their turn to the left AWAY from the traditional curriculum of the badges. The program materials reflect the changing times, and are leaving behind the stereotypical ways of girls who grew up in the 60s, 70s, and 80s in favor of more 'contemporary' life in the big city instead embracing social issues which are often extremely political pushing agendas instead of rational discussion. They were 'woke' well before the term was coined! There is no going back. Even the feelings of nostalgia for the good times is ruined since the cookies have gone corporate with fewer cookies per box, the price due to Bidenflation raising the prices AGAIN, and so very little of the money staying with the local troops. For those who gave of their time volunteering as troop leaders and parents who helped during those years when it still was honorable-- THANK YOU!

I genuinely feel sorry for all of the girls who are being used as pawns by the disease that has infested this once honorable institution. The girls are neither to blame nor are they capable of rectifying the current direction of this institution. Almost a carbon copy of the Boy Scouts demise ! We, the adults, have been far to tolerant of the changes that have taken place right under our noses and in right front of our eyes ! I'm as guilty as anyone else, probably more so than a lot of people. I will probably still buy their cookies but I wish to H*** that there was SOME WAY to go back, just a little, 40 years or so, and know what we know and see now, and perhaps, just perhaps change the course just a bit for the sake of all of the young girls affected by this tragedy. Teach your children to hate. It's specifically aimed at the black communities, so they hate whites. The idea was probably originated in China or Russia, spread to the college campuses, and into black communities. At the very least they (the Chinese and Russians) jumped on the bandwagon and helped it to spread. Btw, this was how groups like Hamas sprang up over the decades. Only difference is they are being taught to hate the Jews.
