On Tuesday’s broadcast of NPR’s “Morning Edition,” Aspen Public Radio Reporter Halle Zander reported on the town of Carbondale, Colorado, where a surge of migrants has overwhelmed local resources and forced migrants to sleep outside as temperatures drop. Zander reported on a migrant from Venezuela who went to Carbondale and “joined a group of about 125 migrants, mostly from Venezuela, who were living under a bridge at the entrance to the small town. She’s hopeful she can find stable housing nearby with her girlfriend and her girlfriend’s kids.” But “Carbondale doesn’t have many services to support unhoused people.

They could always go back to where they came from. How many Americans would go roaming off to another country without funds and expect that country to feed clothe and provide them shelter. Especially a country that is known to get cold .

Maybe we should just shut down the hotel business, make all hotels free migrant housing and hire more government employees to clean and maintain them and cater all of their meals. That's the ticket!

Compile a list of everyone in town who voted for Biden. Give their home addresses to the illegals and suggest they ask for asylum.

When they get cold enough and hungry enough, they'll move onto the next town like a swarm of locusts and strip it bare, too. Then the next town after that.

Perhaps we could hand out leaflets to the illegals with a welcome to winter message. Coming from a country that's on the equator where winter temps reach the mid-seventies for lows, and now experiencing real winter temps with snow might just give these people the motivation to turn around and head south.

The illegals come here expecting to be taken care of. That’s what the cartels told them. Being stuck in a tent in a cold weather state was not the plan. Offer them the choice of an extra blanket or a ride home.

Gee, perhaps they should move SOUTH, back to their own countries. If they move here, have no way to live and die of exposure. Well, OK. Life is all about choices. Coming here illegally was a bad choice. If they suffer bad consequences, not my problem. Offer them a free ride to the Mexican border.

The ignorance of these "migrants" AKA illegals is breathtaking and deadly. Carbondale's elevation is over 6,000 feet. The Colorado mountains are high and very cold in the winter. Even in summer, Denver can get cold at night because the Front Range is at least a mile up. Last July 4th, my guests and I sat around a roaring fire wearing jackets and watching fireworks. Everyone who lives here knows to keep coats, hats and gloves handy year round.

I don't give a frozen popsicle about illegal aliens. Especially the ones who feel entitled to everything hard working taxpayers like me provide for our fellow AMERICANS in need of assistance. I will as a public service announcement say this to them. Attention Illegal aliens who wound up in Colorado this is your geography lesson for the day. That state is high up in the Rocky Mountains. That's one of three major mountain ranges that run through our fruited pain. As such the winters are bitterly cold. My advice head south back where you came from and stay there.

The year 2023, particularly the months after the Oct. 7 terror attacks, featured lawsuits, congressional investigations, and threats to cut federal funding from elite universities. It was the year that campus antisemitism, long bubbling under the radar on college campuses, finally got its reckoning. Jonah Cohen, a communications director at the Committee for Accuracy of Middle East Reporting in America, told Fox News Digital, "Americans are beginning to awaken to the presence of extremist and antisemitic ideologies prevailing in our universities." Israel declared war against Hamas after the terrorist group infiltrated the country on Oct. 7, firing thousands of rockets at residential areas and butchering, raping and torturing its civilians.

The prank qualifies as a criminal offense in many cities and states. Normalizing gender dysphoria quickly became a top priority of the Biden administration, particularly in 2023. But perhaps what made it seem worse was the overt targeting of children, as the Democrat’s administration made clear several times throughout the year. It has become a big ratings boost for many radio stations across the U.S. Stations that don’t go all-Christmas music usually mix some in with their regular formats. In a statement Monday, National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson said Biden directed the strikes against three facilities used by Kataib Hezbollah and affiliated groups, which claimed credit for the initial attack against U.S. personnel. The groups, the U.S. said, are all connected to Iran. The U.S. attack was carried out by a one-way attack drone, according to the statement, which said the three locations were “focused specifically on unmanned aerial drone activities.”
