President Biden delivered a speech to the nation from the Oval Office Thursday evening after returning from Israel in the aftermath of the Hamas terror attacks on October 7. He said he's going to ask Congress to appropriate $100 billion in new funding to combat Hamas and continue to aid Ukraine in its war against Russia. Reportedly, he wants $60 billion more for Ukraine and $14 billion for Israel.
"American leadership is what holds the world together. American alliances are what keep us – America – safe. American values are what make us a partner that other nations want to work with," he said. "To put all that at risk

I submit no more money for Ukraine until Israel as received as much as Zelensky has so far. Seems fair. I don't think the United States should show favorites. It wouldn't be "democratic", would it? Let's go Brandon!

When will the money give away end with this? $10 trillion over the next 20 years? Will we be slaves by then to pay the price?

We don’t have a 23 budget yet….nothing to appropriate

As despicable and corrupt as our leadership has become, I wouldn't be surprised if the administration failed to warn Israel about hamas attacking because the Republican House was pulling the plug on the Ukraine billions and the crime family needed a new war and therefore a way to bundle additional aid for Ukraine to aid for Israel that no one could be against. The blackmailing of our illegitimate President goes on. I would really like to know what dirt the sweater guy has on the Big Guy.

LBJ promised that he would not send US troops to fight in South Vietnam and FDR promised he wouldn’t send US troops to fight in Europe, both promises cast aside after their respective reelections. Tonight, Biden stated that he wouldn’t commit US troops to fight in Ukraine.in what was little more than a campaign speech. Will political history repeat?
Speech itself should have been a press conference without preselected questions, but Biden cannot handle actual questions from reporters with integrity.

Under your so called leadership America is not safe. Lift your foot off the neck of our natural resources. These wars will not be won on the backs of wind farms or lithium batteries. Printing trillions $ in Monopoly money will not be the answer.

As comment #7 infers, I wonder how much the First Family donates from their mysteriously acquired personal fortune to this project. He seems so generous with our extracted contribution.

how much of our tax dollars do the dems get as a KICKBACK? We know joey gets HIS 10%. It is like giving money to the teacher's union. Dems get KICKBACKS back to their campaign.

Apparently Ukraine needs more money to fund every member of the government's retirement accounts. When they all make their exit to their Riviera beach homes, the war will end.

No money for either. I fully support Israel's right to wipe out Hamas. I support Ukraine's right to defend themselves with European money. We shouldn't send any money to either.
Israel doesn't need our money. They need political cover.
Ukraine is none of our concern. It's a European problem.

Both Ukraine and Israel were allowed in order to feed the money laundering machine.
Their funds are drying up. One evidence of this is Soros cutting back and closing offices.
Think about it - democrats used to be anti-war? But when they discovered they could get cash kickbacks from governments and military contractors everything changed.

Biden said that "American leadership is what holds the world together". However, it is the lack of American leadership under Biden"s non-leadershìp which emboldened bad actors and put the world in this situation. Besides, $100 Billion is chump change to Biden when giving stuff away.

This is just a request for donations to the Biden Family, the Zelensky family and whoever else has they hand out for cash...especially if they are muslim. Biden is afraid Zelensky will spill the beans on all the graft Ukraine has paid to the Bidens. I'm sure there are plenty of prancing poobahs in the Senate with their hands out.
A Frenchman once said something to the effect of, "The United States will prosper only until those in power learn to pay themselves for doing nothing." Tocqueville??? maybe?

If all the the wasteful “pork” spending was removed from the trillions of dollars of spending bills passed by the Biden Administration, he would have the $100 billion he is asking for Ukraine and Israel now. When will politicians realize that the supply of “other people’s money” is not limitless?

Biden you cheater, let's make a deal. You reinstate the oil leases in the Arctic you just canceled, cancel your climate change garbage including subsidies to the wind power companies and the ecar automakers, call Klaus for what he really is, and guarantee Israel the resources it needs to eradicate hamas, and return all of the graff that Hunter and you accepted from Ukraine and China - then we'll talk about sending more dollars to Ukraine.

The pensions we pay for the Ukrainian populace must be really costly. Wisely, Burisma purchased the Bidens for a mere 85,000 per month. The bearded gut in the green sweatshirt is an accomplished beggar. Zelenskyy got this new Biden gift although he has already lost the war, as demonstrated by the greatest counteroffensives of this Spring, Summer and Fall. Now they keep pulling US back in. Fortunately we can prevent this with the great Lindsey Graham strategy of bombing Iran.
Slouching into WW3.

He did not stir or inspire the nation.
He successfully read the teleprompter as though spending more tax money would vanquish our foes.

NO! This dumb spending is causing Americans financial hardship. We cannot keep printing money! Inflation is increasing way too much while businesses are not increasing wages and relying more and more on part time workers. This must stop now! What is Europe doing? Let them foot the bill!
