President Joe Biden left the White House on Tuesday afternoon to fly to Israel, a nation still mourning its dead even as it prepares a ground invasion of Gaza and a mission to wipe Hamas from the face of the earth. Officials say his whistle-stop mission is two fold: To show solidarity with Israel and to help deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Written into that is an even bigger ask. Analysts say Biden must walk a fine line between helping Israel ensure that Hamas terrorists can never repeat of last weekend's murder spree, when they killed at least 1,300 people, without letting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's military operation

Supposedly Biden was scheduled to meet with the leaders of nearby Arab countries after he arrives in Jordan, but after Biden departed the USA bound for Jordan, apparently those Arab leaders cancelled their meetings with Biden. Essentially telling Biden to “drop dead”.

TOTAL WASTE of taxpayer dollars. There is no way he will be able to "rise to the moment" as a former diplomat indicated he must. He'll muddle through the day with that blank, lost expression on his face, not even knowing where he is or why. The only thing of which I'm absolutely sure is that he will find a way to embarrass our country again; count on it. Someone should really make up a drinking game...

#12 is correct. He is there to talk Bibi out of wiping out Hamas. Bibi should refuse to meet with him but, at this moment, he can’t. The demented fool thinks that Israel should go back to “proportional response.” This will not go over well with the Israelis who saw their friends and family desecrated and murdered. On Tuesday evening a rocket reportedly hit the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza causing a massive explosion and resulting in the deaths of allegedly several hundred Palestinians. The Palestinians, Islamic Jihad terror group and Western media immediately blamed Israel for the explosion. This comes ten days after the largest slaughter of Jews since World War II. Wall Street Journalist columnist Walter Russell Mead published a column Monday in which he argues that the policy of trying to appease Iran, followed by Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, led directly to the Hamas terror attack on Israel and the war. While Biden is currently showing strong support for Israel, saying it has a “duty” to destroy Hamas, and sending two aircraft carriers to deter Iran from expanding the conflict, his policies encouraged terror after four years of calm under Donald Trump. Mead writes: Even now, Team Biden does not seem to have internalized the reality that the American policy of “conciliate to evacuate”

A bombshell report was released this year evidencing a scandal that ranks among the worst in its evil: the euthanization of patients for the sake of profit.[Snip]The industry rakes in massive funds from Medicare, which delivers a flat daily cash benefit, but hospice groups must repay those funds if the average length of stay of all patients exceeds six months.[Snip]This begs the question: If such patients who are not near death are being brought in for Medicare funds, and these funds must be repaid if patient stays run too long, how do these profit-driven hospices keep their cash flow going?
