Israel accused of blasting hospital and
school in Gaza as blockade cripples healthcare system

Palestinian officials say hundreds are likely dead after suspected Israeli airstrikes on a Gaza hospital, as humanitarian concerns mount over Israel’s ongoing deprivation of food, fuel and electricity to the enclave’s population. Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital was sheltering thousands of displaced people when it was bombed Tuesday, the Palestinian Health Ministry said in a statement. Many victims are still under the rubble, it added. The Israel Defense Forces are looking the hospital attack, spokesperson Daniel Hagari said, adding that it was unclear if the cause was an IDF strike or a failed Hamas launch.

The media isn't saying who is blocking the aid or the evacuations of Gaza. It's Hamas blocking the exits and the aid. Any aid that gets in goes directly to Hamas fighters.

CNN's bias would be laughable if it wasn't so tragic. The headline has now been changed to "Hundreds likely dead in Gaza hospital blast, as Israeli blockade cripples medical response". So now they don't say the Israelis blew it up, I guess it must have just blown up all by itself???? But now CNN blames Israel for the inadequate medical response?

Not likely. Either Hamas blew it up for publicity, not at all unlikely, or was storing ammo in the hospital and some of their home made explosives got unhappy and Kaboomed all by itself. The IDF says it was one of their lamebrained home made rockets. Water pipe and who knows what sort of mix of match heads, black powder and any other crazy stuff they could think of as "rocket fuel". What could possibly go wrong? (hint: Everything)

A Hamas missile either failed or was destroyed above the hospital and exploded in the premises, igniting explosives already secreted there. The propaganda spew is so much booshwah.

At this point, I don't care. Do I feel pity for the dead? Yes. Was it avoidable? Yes. That said, Gaza started a war, and Israel is going to kill MANY MANY Gazans to end the war. One hospital full is going to be just a drop in the bucket. Gaza will look like Stalingrad, or perhaps Dresdan, before they see peace again. Gaza, via Hamas, has sown the wind.

Sounds to me like Hamas is trying to blame Israel for doing what Hamas did (blowing up a hospital) in Gaza, as Hamas was trying to do the same thing (blow up a school or hospital) in Israel. The Hamas rocket WAS intended for Israeli civilians, the more killed the 'better' was it not? Wile Hamas from the face of the earth. And if they take the Commie News Network with 'em, so be it!

The United States is easing sanctions on Venezuela after the South American country's government and opposition agreed to have next year's election monitored by international observers. Sanctions will be eased on Venezuela's oil, gas and gold sectors. The next election in Venezuela has been scheduled for the second half of next year. Other sanctions imposed over the suppression of protests and the erosion of democracy remain in place. Washington has cautioned that the relaxation could be reversed if the electoral pact collapses. A new general license issued by the US treasury department authorised Venezuela, which had been under hefty sanctions since 2019, to produce and export oil to its chosen markets

A spate of new attacks on American troops in the Middle East this week is threatening to further entangle the United States in a new regional war, even as the Biden administration tries to prevent the conflict between Israel and Hamas from escalating. U.S. forces in multiple locations across Iraq and Syria came under attack by aerial drones targeting their positions on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Pentagon spokesperson Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder. One American contractor died of a cardiac episode while seeking shelter from the attacks; other troops sustained minor injuries.
