Washington — The unprecedented flow of tens of thousands of U.S.-bound migrants crossing Panama's treacherous Darién Gap jungle each month is "an unsustainable crisis," Colombia's ambassador to the U.S. told CBS News on Friday. (Snip) The flow of migration along the largely ungoverned Panama-Colombia border has fueled unprecedented levels of Venezuelan arrivals along the U.S. southern border, where American officials processed roughly 50,000 Venezuelan migrants in September alone, an all-time high. Bidenites are complaining that migrants are not being stopped at the Colombia-Panama border. So why not stop them at the U.S. border?

How much are we, each individual taxpayer, calculated to cough up for Joe's wet dream? We should be able to enter that as a dependent deduction and deduct it from our tax bill. If about 125 million taxpayers did that - how could they come get us all?

If the Columbian army said that their border was closed, and vigorously enforced it, the problem would be solved.

I would imagine considering the number of illegal migrants that have transited the Darien Gap over the last 2 1/2 years that there are probably one or two nice hotels, an Applebees and a Buckees to help the illegals on their way.

This mass international migration Northbound through the so called Darian Gap headed to the U.S. borderline was and is being encouraged and invited by Biden and the leftist and socialist Democrats who consider the vast majority of those migrants to be potential future leftist and socialist Democrat supporters and voters on into the future by the tens of millions. However under the immigration laws passed constitutionally by Congress the migrants are all deportable illegal aliens as soon as they gain unlawful entry to the USA. Most of those illegal aliens after illegally entering the USA have been and are being transported across the USA by the Biden crew and the liberal nongovernmental organizations that are politically aligned to the leftist and socialist Democrats, and are being deposited within the leftist and socialist run big sanctuary cities and into poor and underclass neighborhoods that consist of “communities” of African-Americans, especially in Chicago and New York City, where African-American residents apparently feel that Biden and the leftist and socialist Democrats have inserted large numbers of illegal aliens into their neighborhoods, and local public facilities used by the African-American residents without the leftist and socialist Democrat politicians consulting them, creating the situation whereby African-American activists and residents feel that the leftist and socialist Democrat politicians are disrespecting them, because the local and federal leftist and socialist Democrat politicians believe that they have the inner-city African-American vote in the bag.

Mr Ambassador, why are you telling us about a problem in your country? These South and Central American countries may make speeches in public about border security, but in private they love the fact that they can push their low educated, unemployed, and sometimes criminal problems to the US.

This is good news. The only section of the Pan-American highway that was unusable was the Darien Gap. Now that all of these illegals have trampled down the weeds perhaps people can finally drive the entire 30,000 km length. I'd advise against doing that in an electric vehicle though.

Damage to the U.S. (social, economic, and even environmental) that is unsustainable isn't reason for the Left to call for illegal alien entry limits. But damage to a Panamanian jungle? Can't have that! Another instance of inverse Liberal 'reasoning'. Remember this previous gem? "Be a hero, save a whale; save a baby, go to jail."

Fifty coaches carrying migrants have arrived in Chicago over the last week and authorities are bracing for up to 25 buses with around 1,250 people aboard to start arriving daily. The deluge has caused huge problems and prompted backlash from residents in the city, which long ago ran out of shelter space and has been allowing asylum seekers to sleep in O’Hare Airport and police stations across the city. In a scathing letter to President Biden Monday, Illinois’ Democrat Governor, J.B. Pritzker accused the feds of failing to provide adequate aid to the city — a sentiment echoed by numerous

The Department of Energy (DOE) said the energy efficiency regulations would slash household utility costs by $1.5 billion on an annual basis while reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the residential sector. The proposal, according to the agency, require non-weatherized gas furnaces and those used in mobile homes to achieve a far higher level of efficiency than cheaper models on the market. Hillary Clinton has to be the Rasputin of 21st century American politics. Grigori Rasputin – the “Mad Monk” -- was a Russian religious fanatic who managed to worm his way into the Russian imperial family with a claim that he could alleviate the hemophilia suffered by Tsarevich Alexei. In short order he was exercising personal control over Tsarina Alexandra, the boy’s mother, who in turn influenced the easily-led Tsar Nicholas II.
