As RedState reported, the largest militant attack on Israel in decades is currently occurring, with bands of Palestinian terrorists roaming Israeli streets, entering homes and bomb shelters, and murdering civilians. That proceeded with a massive rocket barrage launched from Palestinian-controlled territories.
What's clear is that this isn't like other attacks, and the videos coming out of what has turned into an all-out war are horrifying. Unfortunately, I believe the woman above has already perished, as there's another video (which I'm not going to share) showing what appears to be her lifeless body stripped and being paraded by Palestinians with rifles.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that sex differences are “common sense” at the Conservative Party Conference on Wednesday in Manchester.
“We shouldn’t get bulled into believing that people can be any sex they want to be. They can’t,” Sunak told the audience, which applauded in response. “A man is a man, and a woman is a woman, that’s just common sense.”
When asked on Thursday if he regrets his comments, Sunak said, “No, I think a a man is a man and a woman is a woman, I think most people watching this program will think that that’s common sense and that’s just a fact of biology.”

Joe Biden’s abrupt conversion to becoming one of the MAGA devils he claims to despise is accelerating. On the heels of determining that he has an “immediate need” to finish building Trump’s border wall, the White House announced last night that deportation flights of illegal Venezuelan migrants would resume imminently. We might be tempted to argue that these flights should be packed with illegal aliens from any country, but I suppose we should be grateful and take whatever we can get out of this crew. But the specific choice to deport only Venezuelans is particularly curious since it’s coming from the same administration that told us only two weeks ago

It looks like the choice for the next Speaker of the House is leaning heavily in favor of Rep. Jim Jordan. Essentially the battle is between Jordan and Rep. Steve Scalise and Jordan is coming out on top.
I may be wrong but the reporting on the speaker’s race has been tilted toward Jordan since he tossed his hat in the ring. On Thursday, Axios reported that McCarthy allies are working to gather support for Jordan, not the traditional choice, which would be Steve Scalise. Scalise is the House Majority Leader and at the top of the party leadership. In normal times, he would be the next speaker.

Fox News will exclusively host and televise the upcoming debate for the House speakership, now that the gavel is up for grabs after Representative Kevin McCarthy was ousted in a historic Tuesday vote.
Bret Baier will moderate the debate between House Majority Leader Steve Scalise of Louisiana, Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan of Ohio, and Representative Kevin Hern of Oklahoma on Monday in the Capitol, Punchbowl News first reported. The debate will not be open press, the publication said, which means reporters other than Baier will be barred from the room.
Fox is still determining whether the debate will be live or pre-taped.

Hall of Famer and legendary Chicago Bears linebacker Dick Butkus has died at the age of 80. The Bears confirmed the death of Butkus via his family.
"The Butkus family confirms that football and entertainment legend Dick Butkus died peacefully in his sleep overnight at home in Malibu, California," a statement posted on X, formerly Twitter, said.
"The Butkus family is gathering with Dick’s wife Helen. They appreciate your prayers and support." Butkus, considered one of the greatest defensive players of all time, spent all nine of his NFL seasons from 1965-1973 with the Bears, earning eight Pro Bowls and five first-team All-Pro selections over that span.

Disney has failed to make any inroads with conservative Americans who turned on the entertainment industry giant over its woke politics, according to results from a new Rasmussen Reports survey previewed exclusively by The Daily Wire.
Just over 60% of Republicans have an unfavorable opinion of Disney, including 35% who say they have a “very unfavorable” opinion, the survey conducted by Rasmussen in late September found. The results are starkly divided by political identity. While among Republicans only 32% have a favorable view and 61% have an unfavorable view, for Democrats the results are almost exactly the opposite — 61% of Democrats view Disney favorably and just 29% unfavorably.

Progressive activist Cornel West is abandoning his bid to run for president with the Green Party, opting instead to run as an independent.
The party-switching move complicates his path to the ballot. The Green Party has already gained ballot access for 2024 in 17 states, according to the party's website. Without them, West will have to gain access to the ballot in states on his own, an expensive and time-consuming task that involves gathering hundreds of thousands of petition signatures across the different states. In a statement announcing his decision, West said, "Our Constitution provides for independent candidates to gain ballot access in all states, and I

An 18-year-old Brooklyn man who authorities had previously described as “mentally disturbed” was arrested Thursday morning in connection with the stabbing death of a left-wing activist on a New York City sidewalk earlier this week.
Media reports have identified the suspect as Brian Dowling, who lives near the scene of the stabbing. He is facing murder and weapons charges in connection with the killing of activist Ryan Carson early Monday, according to reports.
“Assailant has been caught,” Carson’s father, Ken, wrote on Facebook Thursday morning.
Police sources told the New York Post earlier this week that they had identified a “mentally disturbed” 18-year-old as a person of interest in the killing.

WASHINGTON — President Biden said Thursday that he “can’t stop” construction of new sections of the US-Mexico border wall because Congress wouldn’t rescind spending on it — as he waived 26 federal laws to restart former President Donald Trump’s pet project amid record-breaking illegal immigration.
“The money was appropriated for the border wall. I tried to get them to reappropriate, to redirect that money. They didn’t. They wouldn’t,” Biden told reporters in the Oval Office. “In the meantime, there’s nothing under the law other than they have to use the money for what it was appropriated for. I can’t stop that,” he insisted.

While the spotlight has been on Republican inter-party strife lately, there's trouble in paradise across the aisle. The border crisis has reached levels of disaster so obscene that not even Democrats can ignore it any longer, and the Biden administration is starting to shift its strategy.
According to RedState's Bob Hoge, the president has waived several environmental laws to start construction on a new section of the largely incomplete border wall.
The Biden administration announced they waived 26 federal laws in South Texas to allow border wall construction on Wednesday, marking the administration’s first use of a sweeping executive power employed often during the Trump presidency.

Facing a pileup of spending bills and a possible government shutdown, 20 Republican senators led by Sen. Rick Scott (Fla.) say they will delay any legislation moving on the Senate floor that does not relate directly to funding the government.
Scott circulated a letter at the Senate Republican lunch Wednesday warning Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) that GOP lawmakers will not tolerate further delay to the annual appropriations bills, none of which has yet passed the Senate. “Nothing can stand in the way of this work. For this reason, we the undersigned senators pledge to withhold our support for any vote to proceed to items unrelated to appropriations
