Gov. Hochul cowardly backpedals on criticizing
Joe Biden’s border

Hey, boys and girls. Can you follow the bouncing Kathy? Sunday, Gov. Hochul delivered a spot-on explanation for New York’s current dilemma — for how it came to be stuffed full of penniless border-hoppers. The problem, she said, is the border itself: As in, “It’s too open right now.” Which it obviously is. The consequences — societal, fiscal and cultural — also are obvious, and becoming more so. But Hochul’s candor — aimed squarely at Washington, and at Joe Biden in particular — clearly has had consequences too.

Any degree of "open" is "too open." Leaders who care about their countries have tight control of their borders. Progressive lunatics only care about appearances.

We do have a national/federal immigration policy. It is encoded in the CFR. The executive who swore to uphold our laws…isn’t. The solution is to lawfully replace our illegally acting employees, beginning with the president. It’s quicker, faster, better than forming a commission to study the issues for years

Go against the grain, backpedal. Repeat. Never stop. Feinstein did that for 50 years. That’s how she earned status as a “moderate.”

Hochul, poor thing, is an awkward position. She has to somehow pretend she’s listening to the caterwauling from Eric Adams and at the same time protect her wealthy donors in upstate New York and grovel to Biden to prove her loyal Democrat creds. No one said this job would be easy.

President Vladimir Putin has threatened the West with total nuclear destruction leaving 'no chance of survival' in the event of a strike on Russia. In a ranting anti-US speech, the dictator said his powerful missiles 'Satan-2' and 'Flying Chernobyl' are ready for deployment in an ominous doomsday warning. Putin told a conference in Sochi: 'From the moment the launch of missiles is detected, no matter where it comes from - from any point of the world ocean or from any territory - such a number, so many hundreds of our missiles appear in the air in a retaliatory strike that there is no chance of survival there will be no

MSNBC legal analyst Rebecca Roiphe said Thursday that Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James made a “tactical error” by criticizing former President Donald Trump on Wednesday after his court appearance. Speaking to reporters after the third day of hearings in the civil suit brought by James herself, she said the “Donald Trump show is over.” “This was nothing more than a political stunt. A fund-raising stop, and now we can continue to go forward with our trial, and we are confident that justice will be served.”

Special Counsel David Weiss dropped one of the gun charges count against Hunter Biden on Wednesday. The move is apparently a procedural step, according to the Associated Press: The procedural step removes a charge alleging he broke a law against drug users having guns when he bought a gun in 2018, during a period he has acknowledged struggling with addiction. The president’s son is now facing a three-count indictment focused on the same purchase that includes both gun possession and false statement charges. No new tax counts have yet been filed by special counsel David Weiss, who is overseeing the case.

As RedState reported, the Biden administration recently announced the construction of a new section of border wall. That represents a sharp turnaround from the president's previous proclamations and a vivid admission of just how terrible his immigration policies have been. The move drew sharp rebukes from true believers like Beto O'Rourke, but it's now an open question whether Biden even knows what his administration is doing. During a presser on Thursday, the president sure seemed confused as to who was even in charge. (X Video)

America is facing a national security issue. A violent gun crisis in inner cities is now showing up in rural America, Not just in the form of illegal immigration, and I am sure those words sound familiar. Still, the subject of factual matter is often avoided due to DEI and liberal policies depicting any speech that addresses crime by races other than white as discriminatory. In 2021, the world saw a spike in gun violence, not just in schools where white children live but specifically in urban communities; however, it has become abundantly evident that liberal media has chosen to minimize this attack

In the early dawn's orange glow, a Texas Rangers commander briefs a heavily armed invasion force. They're preparing to seize a remote, 170-acre Mexican cartel-controlled island in the middle of the Rio Grande River overlooked by sniper nests and potentially booby-trapped. Some of the dozens of assembled men shift from one foot to another or reposition their M-4 rifles as they listen to their commanders' instructions.'Keep a close eye on those structures up there that have height advantage on us,' he warns. 'In case we do get engaged and someone is shot' medical evacuation plans are in place and there are blood bags if the wounded need a transfusion, he assures them. Any questions?

President Joe Biden announced Wednesday that he approved $9 billion in student loan forgiveness for 125,000 Americans. The relief is a result of his administration's fixes to a number of programs, including the income-driven repayment plans and Public Service Loan Forgiveness. More than $5 billion of the aid will go to 53,000 borrowers who've worked in public service for a decade or more; $2.8 billion of the forgiveness is for 51,000 borrowers enrolled in income-driven repayment plans; and another $1.2 billion of the cancellation will go to 22,000 borrowers with disabilities. The announcement is likely to help Biden as he runs for reelection, experts say.

(snip) Superchargers charge vehicles up to the 80% sweet spot in as little as 20 minutes, but to provide that kind of power for nearly 100 bays takes something solar can’t provide — diesel generators. Investigative journalist Edward Niedermeyer discovered that the station was powered by diesel generators hidden behind a Shell station. Reporters at SF Gate tried to find out how much of the station's electricity was from the generators, but couldn’t get a response from Tesla.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) successfully led a coup against now-former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday. He managed to eke out a “win” by rallying the entire Democrat caucus and eight Republicans to oust him. It’s the first time that has happened in U.S. history. And it’s a total clown show. Not only does it distract from the already tense budget negotiations, but it makes a laughingstock of the GOP—and the U.S.—and gives Democrats even more leverage to push through their radical policies. Gaetz got a win, but at what cost? Sure, he’ll raise a lot of campaign money from this—he’s already sending out emails and asking for money on Fox News

Americans should expect a blaring phone alert Wednesday at 2:20 p.m ET. That's when the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will send notifications to phones in a nationwide emergency alert system test. Being that the alert is just a test, there's no cause for panic. It'll be conducted to ensure the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) are operational in the event of a national crisis, while also familiarizing the public with the notifications. Those in larger metropolitan areas may have received similar-looking Amber Alerts from this system before. People cannot opt out of the nationwide alert, as even phones set to silent
