Pennsylvania Democratic Sen. John Fetterman said he has “lost [his] ability to fully process language” during a Senate hearing last week, despite previous assurances from his family, doctors and Democratic lawmakers that he is fully functioning and capable. Fetterman said he is unable to communicate with his family and staff unless he uses special transcription technology and became emotional describing his mental state during a Senate hearing on Thursday. Concerns about Fetterman’s health arose during his 2022 senatorial campaign after he suffered a stroke; following the event, his doctor said he could “work full duty,” and Fetterman himself said he was “able to serve and to be running” for Congress.

The doctor was probably examining Fetterman's double, who is articulate.

The Dems almost always vote the same way on every piece of legislation, so they really don't care if a few Senators are not really functioning. They just have to holler Yeah or Nay at the appropriate time.

Fetterman suffered a serious stroke just last year and spent very little time (if any) in a hospital or rehab facility recovering from it. That was his choice so no sympathy from me on his current difficulties. All favorable assessments of Fetterman are "full duty." He's about as functional as Joe Biden and is unable to do anything but fill a seat, collect a paycheck and raise his hand at the proper time. Letting either one of these vegetables occupy positions of power in Washington is a criminal act.

I was born in Pennsylvania and historically, the democrat machine, through the labor unions, has had a stranglehold on this state for a long time. Even those politicians who can speak clearly are crooked, compromised, and always willing to break promises and raise taxes on command because they do not get elected if they are anything but reliable pawns of the democrats. Coal miners, truck drivers, teachers, steel-workers, all fall into line and keep the corruption going. Outside of Philadelphia and Harrisburg we are all MAGA people. Any suggestions are welcome.

I’ve gotta to throw my two cents in on the ads. The site costs money to run. I presume the donation drives didn’t fund it. Maybe people who don’t like the ads made donations larger than the cost of the ad free subscription. Where does the money come from without some sort of a business model? I haven’t found any other site that i like, so i use it and the ad free subscription seems the least i can do. But as to Fetidman, he is perfect for the Trump haters and i guess they find our contempt for the Dim Party for its election of dementia patients, stroked out freaks who pull shotguns on black men, and way beyond shelf life oct- nonogenarians and mental freaks who think islands will tip over if we put too many troops on them is the moral equivalent of their unreasoning hatred of Trump. They are functioning at the unthinking level of insect life. So a humanlike cockroach in the senate is befitting. The U.S. Senate, once known as the “world’s greatest deliberative body,” will now permit its members to grace its chamber floor wearing whatever clothes—no matter how casual or unprofessional—they happen to fancy on any given day. Following Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s, D-N.Y., decision earlier this week to have the sergeant-at-arms cease enforcing the Senate’s long-standing dress code, senators might be forgiven for trading in their traditional Brooks Brothers wares for that most chic of modern haberdashers: the local homeless shelter. There is one reason and one reason only for Schumer’s distasteful change in policy: The brain-damaged and cartoon-villain-resembling junior Democratic senator from Pennsylvania, John Fetterman,
