Chicago - Nearly 1,600 migrants seeking asylum in the U.S. will be relocated from Chicago police stations to winterized camps with massive tents under a plan by Mayor Brandon Johnson, according to a report released Thursday.
The relocations will occur “before the weather begins to shift and change,” Johnson said in an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times. The tents could hold up to 1,000 migrants, he said, and the camps would provide meals and recreational and educational programming.

Send them back to wherever they came from. That should be the ONLY plan.

Helpless to do anything about this.
How can anyone support a Democrat?
Or any career politician who supports this kind of thing?
TENT CITIES for ILLEGAL BORDER JUMPERS?
I hope in 2024 America has awakened and we throw all these guys out.
With the disengagement and illiteracy of the electorate I’m not holding my breath.

The Democrats love to say that someone will be "on the wrong side of history."
If this national immigration disaster doesn't sink them in '24, surely—SURELY—it should completely destroy Biden's legacy.
But I'm assuming the world makes sense.

Wait! These people were promised free housing, food and money, not a winterized tent in freezing cold Chicago.
Just wait until all these illegals start their uprisings all around the country! They are already being planned by our "betters".

Does this also include free ski parkas, boots, gloves, scarves. and hats from North Face?
I grew up right across the border from Chicago. They're going to just love the lake effects pummeling them all winter as they roam the city.

Agree with #1. Been saying that since the beginning. It's been a huge mistake shipping them all over the country.
Can't help but think this is a ploy. A tent city in the middle of Chicago winter. How cold does Chicago get? Look for Chicago to grab private property to avert a 'crisis'.

Don't the Obamas still have a home in Chicago?
How many people will fit in there?
A family for each room?
Dems can arrange for food to be delivered as we certainly don't want the illegals to prepare their own food. /s

Be sure to give them some firearms and ammo too so they can fit in to the culture better

Just move them into people's houses. Chicago is a sanctuary city that welcomes illegals.

Chicago will empty their jails and turn them into refugee centers. All cell doors and cell blocks unlocked of course.

There's plenty of open space in the old South Works (former home to US Steel) for a Brandonville Tent City.
