It’s been a week since wildfires on Maui ravaged the island and sent residents streaming into the ocean to avoid the flames. So far, Joe Biden has “no comment” about the casualties and, presumably, he has nothing to say about the massive relief efforts that are surely underway.
But are they underway? According to the Wall Street Journal, “State and federal aid is trickling into the region in the wake of the deadliest U.S. wildfire event in over 100 years.” So after a full week, aid is just “trickling in” from FEMA to deal with the destruction of most of the Western part of Maui?

Good for them. You DO NOT want FEMA anywhere near you.

1. Biden doesn't vacation in Hawaii
2. Hawaii is a Deep Blue State that hasn't voted for a Republican president in over 2 generations.
3. Obama's Mansion is on the island of Oahu

You have to understand, the vegetable needs his vacations. 365 days since he is 'in office'. i.e., some cheap chair in front of some cheap desk next to a curtain that hides the bathroom door. He has to get away from all this with his frequent trips to expensive places. This piece of trash has always been a narcissistic, egotistical low life. Good for Hawaiians to take matters in their own hands. That so called dem senator hopefully will not be reelected. Hawaii has a tragedy on hand and this dame blabs about climate warming.

NO, this is not Xiden’s “Katrina.”
1) he has no moral compass (and debatable cognitive skills) to understand the problem.
2) if, as most believe, he is not running things, his action/ inaction will have little bearing on his standing.
3) he’ll be covered by the Flying Monkeys et al, and this will go away soon,
(See Palestine OH for reference )

Trash is the word. All Bidens are trash. Joe Biden is also cruel. On at least two occasions, in respect to the accident that killed his wife and daughter, Biden said the truck driver involved was drunk. Those were lies. The driver rendered aid at the accident scene. His wife pulled away from a stop sign into the path of the truck. Of course, the accident records are conveniently lost.

"Bush's Katrina" was a media fabrication. Media are the Dimocrat propaganda wing. Therefore this is NOT Biden's Katrina. They will spin it like its "Trump's MAGA Katrina" and Biden is making everything all better, quietly, behind the scenes so as not to create a distraction.

There is a short video on The Conservative Treehouse with an older man saying he walked away from the fire, saw cars lined up and not moving to get away from the fire. He asked cop why traffic wasn't moving, there were no obstructions in front of the line of cars. Cop says 'I'm just following orders.' I am also not reading good comments about this fire, how it started and the reason for it. Stay tuned.

The title has what I think is called a False Premise.
I lived through Katrina.
We worked like bees to board up our house and two friend's houses, then, exhausted, we evacuated Sunday night at 11:00 PM.
Katrina came ashore full force early Monday morning.
My neighbor who stayed said the water came in around 8:00 AM, and was gone before 12:00 Noon.
The high water marks on my house were 14 feet above the ground level.
We came home on Wednesday evening, stayed the night at a friend's home that was above the flood line, then started clearing debris and cleaning up the next morning.
In Mississippi, the Republican Governor Barbour worked WITH the Federal government, and the response was SUPERB!
In Louisiana, Democrat Governor Blanco and New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin BLOCKED the Federal government from rendering assistance for several days, until some clever person in the Bush administration figured out a way to 'parse' the language of the law and get around DEMOCRAT GOVERNOR BLANCO'S BLOCKING.
The Democ'RAT Mayor and Governor DELIBERATELY LET THEIR PEOPLE SUFFER.... in flooded homes, STRANDED ON ROOFTOPS IN THE SWELTERING HEAT... heck, they even BLOCKED volunteer Louisianan sportsmen -the 'Cajun Navy'- who came to flooded New Orleans with their OWN BOATS, on THEIR OWN DIME, to help their fellow Citizens!
THE CAUSE FOR THE 'BOTCHED' RESPONSE IN NEW ORLEANS WAS DONE ON PURPOSE BY THE DEMOC'RATS and played up in the Democ'RAT Media to make President Bush look bad!
I KNOW!
I LIVE ON THE MISSISSIPPI COAST, just across the Bay of Saint Louis from Waveland, which was GROUND ZERO.
WAVELAND AND MY NEIGHBORHOOD GOT THE WORST OF THE STORM!

Our neighborhood was flooded years ago and the first responders were church groups who did an outstanding job. FEMA finally showed up about 3 weeks later and were actually pretty useless.

Anything the moron does now regarding Hawaii will look like an afterthought. I say this all the time on here, but he really does not give a rip about anyone except Joe. He’s a fraud and a phony.

100 times worse than any errors that Dubya made associated with Katrina. Most of the complaints were bogus.

Biden said he plans to go to Hawaii as soon as they clean up their mess. Unfortunately, he didn't say anything about plans to go on to his homeland, China, while heading east.

The unconscionable abandonment of Afghanistan in 2021 should have been Biden's 'Katrina' already. The key catalyst was absent, though (monolithic mainstream media hysteria) and will be likewise absent from the Maui debacle's fallout.

When Cat 5 Hurricane Dorian finally left the area, after stalling out over the Bahamas for more than 24 hours, the Bahamas' neighbors (aka residents of the state of Florida) responded immediately, along with the US Coast Guard, everyone apparently completely forgetting (or not caring) that the Bahamas are a sovereign country, not part of the US.
It's tough on Hawaii, being out there so far from their neighbors. Individual people in their private boats are quicker and more flexible than bureaucracies and more compassionate than governments.

You know who organizes things effectively in a crisis? That guy.
Maybe he can spare a few minutes away from his legal teams after signing rule 11 paperwork for removal.

The border was his Katrina.
The economy was his Katrina.

Don't lose view of this humanitarian disaster, folks. Despite Hawaii being mostly a dim state, biden the cheater spent his past week basking in the sun on the Delaware coastal beaches. Why wouldn't he? Afterall, he and Hunter have a buttload of chicom and Ukrainian kickback money already in their offshore bank accounts. How else do you think biden the cheater could afford to own three mansions free and clear on a VP's salary. Meanwhile, please help the folks in Lahaina.
