What no one will say out loud about Nancy Pelosi

Original Article

Nancy Pelosi’s future has been the subject of whispers in her hometown since the Democrats lost the House and she stepped down from leadership. What everyone has wanted to know — but no one was eager to say out loud, for fear of offending the speaker emerita or merely out of respect and admiration for her — is whether she intends to keep her seat. And, if not, would she favor a chosen candidate — or throw it open to what could be a wide open primary in one of the most Democratic cities in the U.S.

The third line of the piece calls San Francisco "one of the most Democratic cities in the U.S." What a laugh: yes, the place is run by Democrats but it is hardly democratic. It's a single party city-state.

Shudder, shudder, shudder.... Pelosi's replacement will be even more extreme left. At least he/she/it will not have the power that Pelosi has.

She has done so much damage to the country in her time on the government grift, I fear the only way to atone would be a slow, agonizing demise in which she would not get one second of peace or comfort. I guess I'll have to be happy knowing shes probably at home, being excluded from the underwear and hammer parties thrown by her husband.

I will say it out loud, nay I will shout it from the rooftops - Nancy Pelosi is a communist traitor with the blood of millions on her hands who should be hung by her scrawny, wrinkled neck on a gallows set up on the steps of the Capitol Building in DC. Traitor, Thief, Liar!

I do like #8's suggestion since the punishment fits her crime. However, she seems to be extremely enamored of her 100 million dollar fortune. Since that's the case, I would be satisfied to see her lose her home and every cent of her fortune including her $24,000 frig and freezer. Her only allowed possessions should be a dark blue tarp and a grocery cart. Then in the remaining time she has on earth she can pitch that tarp on any SF street and use the cart to scavenge for food and clothing. I believe that losing her money would really be a fate worse than death for her. Just think --- no money means no botox. Everyone will be able to see her the way she really is. She just might prefer the noose as #8 suggests!

She will do as other powerful politicians have done in the past. Offer the seat up to the highest bidder. The seat will be worth millions, since the highest bidder gets to leave the sewer that is San Francisco and live in DC. DC is not much better, but the Capitol Police keeps out the riffraff.

It is not quite the case that the media totally ignored the IRS whistleblower testimony to the House Oversight Committee. But they sure did a good job of burying the news down deep in the equivalent of dropping an important fact in the 38th paragraph of an article. If you go to the websites of the major news outlets you have to search for the story, since it doesn’t appear on the front pages of any but a couple, and on those it is treated as a secondary story buried well under the headlines.Tom Bevan of RealClearPolitics was gobsmacked enough by the seeming indifference

West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin on Monday defended his flirtation with a third-party presidential campaign, telling voters at a No Labels forum at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire that he had no plans to play “spoiler” in the 2024 election. “I’ve never been in any race I’ve ever spoiled. I’ve been in races to win,” Manchin said. “And if I get in a race, I’m going to win.” Sitting beside former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, a Republican, Manchin railed against withering bipartisanship in Washington, DC, saying the “business model” of the two major parties “is better if you’re divided.” Huntsman offered a similar critique,

Surprise! Well … kinda, anyway. Donald Trump already faces an indictment from special counsel Jack Smith over obstruction and mishandling of classified material in federal court, but that wasn’t Smith’s initial focus. At the time when the dispute over the records erupted, Smith already had been tasked with investigating the January 6 riot at the Capitol as a potential criminal conspiracy.According to Trump, that shoe has finally dropped — or will shortly:
Why Moms for Liberty Frightens the Democrats 3 replies

For most Americans, “Mom” evokes images of kindness, courage, sympathy and love. Likewise, “liberty” calls up concepts like individual rights, freedom of expression, equality and justice. Yet, the perversity of the current political environment is such that a parental rights group whose name combines these two words has been demonized by Democrats, the media and the left. Just recently, a New Hampshire Democrat denounced the group as “A**holes with casseroles,” the Hill ran a story titled, “Six reasons why Moms for Liberty is an extremist organization,” and the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) added them to its Hate Map.

Joe Biden made several of the wrong sorts of headlines during his recent trip to England and then to the NATO summit. First, there were the awkward interactions between the President, the Welsh Guards, and King Charles III. Then there were more bad visuals during the summit in Vilnius. As Karen already discussed yesterday, one of the agenda items that had a lot of people talking was Biden’s decision to skip the leadership dinner and return to his hotel room in Lithuania. A few different reasons were offered for that. There was the public excuse given by his staff who said that the

For colleges and libraries seeking a boldfaced name for a guest lecturer, few come bigger than Sonia Sotomayor, the Supreme Court justice who rose from poverty in the Bronx to the nation’s highest court. She has benefited, too — from schools’ purchases of hundreds, sometimes thousands, of the books she has written over the years. Sotomayor’s staff has often prodded public institutions that have hosted the justice to buy her memoir or children’s books, works that have earned her at least $3.7 million since she joined the court in 2009. Details of those events, largely out of public view, were obtained by The Associated Press through more than 100 open records

The First Amendment is under assault by the very people entrusted to protect it. The Biden administration and the corporate media removed any doubt about this after a July 4 ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Terry A. Doughty. Evidence revealed during the discovery process in Missouri v. Biden convinced the judge that administration officials illegally pressured social media platforms to censor disfavored views. Doughty issued a 155-page opinion and an injunction prohibiting federal officials from “pressuring or coercing social-media companies in any manner to remove, delete, suppress, or reduce posted content of postings containing protected free speech.”

Speaking to reporters Wednesday, President Biden falsely claimed that Russia is at war with Iraq. Russia is at war with Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin is “clearly losing the war in Iraq,” Biden told the press pool, “losing the war at home. And he has become a bit of a pariah around the world.” On Tuesday, during an unrelated fundraising event in Chevy Chase, Md., Biden made the exact same slip-up, mistaking Ukraine for Iraq. “If anybody told you … that we’d be able to bring all of Europe together in the onslaught on Iraq and get NATO to be completely united,” the president said,

Joe Biden is Inspector Jacques Clouseau. We don’t know whether to laugh (Clouseau) or cry (Biden). In fantasy, Clouseau bumbled his way to success. In reality, Biden is a failure; worse, a danger to himself and to others. He is America’s nightmare, more hazardous to the world than climate change. The dark comedy of Biden’s mental decay/physical decline is evidenced daily when his caretakers let him out, after dosing his secret, volatile medication. Sleep apnea, previously undisclosed, is the latest alibi for his dysfunction. His medical records are no more transparent than Hunter Biden’s tax returns, and the president’s doctor won’t come clean.

The Biden administration on Friday proposed tightening an efficiency standard for new residential water heaters — a move that it said would both save consumers money and combat climate change. The draft rule would require that, in order to become more efficient, most common-size electric water heaters use heat pump technology and gas-powered heaters use condensing technology. The proposal from the Energy Department would cut 501 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions over 30 years, the department said. That’s the equivalent of the emissions of 134 coal-fired power plants in one year. The department also said the standards would
