Israeli President Isaac Herzog gave a thinly veiled rebuke to members of the House of Representatives for their attacks on Israel during his speech Wednesday at a joint session of Congress. Herzog did not name names, but he referenced criticism of Israel from House members. More than one progressive Democrat recently vilified the Jewish state in public statements. "Mr. Speaker, I am not oblivious to criticism among friends, including some expressed by respected members of this House. I respect criticism, especially from friends, although one does not always have to accept it," Herzog said. Blah blah blah. Where is his rebuke of US Jews who worship the Democrats more than God? I’m tired of defending Israel when Jews don’t give a crap.

Francis Fukuyama: End of Putin's history

Russian President Vladimir Putin could lose his grip on power within months, according to a prominent international relations theorist and a top analyst of Russia's security networks. “I would not be at all surprised if that regime comes tumbling down, you know, in the next few months,” Stanford University’s Francis Fukuyama said Wednesday at the Aspen Security Forum. If the end of Putin’s history proves to be at hand, it may serve as a cautionary tale of the incompetence that autocratic rule can produce in the absence of a robust debate, he suggested.

Republicans immediately began lashing out at President Biden Thursday following the release of an unclassified FBI document detailing his alleged involvement in an international bribery scheme, with a number rallying for his impeachment. Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, released the FD-1023 form earlier in the day which detailed how Biden, along with his son, Hunter Biden, allegedly "coerced" Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky to pay them millions of dollars in exchange for their help in getting the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating the company fired. "Most corrupt family to ever live in the White House! Impeach!" Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., wrote on Twitter

One of the most basic lessons that we teach law students is that you should “never ask a question you don’t know the answer to.” The peril of the poorly crafted question was on display in Wednesday’s hearing with two whistleblowers on political interference in the Hunter Biden investigation. Most Democrats avoided any questions on the substance of the allegations, focusing instead on everything from systemic racism to the use of the term “two-tiered system of justice” and, of course, Donald Trump. Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) often goes where wiser members fear to tread.

Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman was mocked by conservatives on Twitter after an exchange during a congressional hearing that they say confirmed President Biden did meet with Hunter Biden’s business associates, an allegation he has denied. During testimony from two IRS whistleblowers in a House Oversight and Accountability Committee on Wednesday, Goldman pressed IRS supervisor Gary Shapley about his testimony that Hunter Biden told his dad he "may be trying to start a company or try do something with these guys." Goldman then told Shapley that this "doesn't sound much like Joe Biden was involved in whatever Hunter Biden was doing with the [Chinese oil and natural gas company]

Wow, big news broke Tuesday – President Biden’s campaign is officially going to be headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware. For months nervous Democrats have wondered why Biden only had four full-time staffers devoted to his reelection effort and why the campaign wasn’t yet located anywhere. This development will do absolutely nothing, however, to stop the panic within the party that Biden is too old to run for reelection and could easily lose to former President Donald Trump. Sorry, Team Biden, these fears will not be put to rest; they are going to persist and grow.

Assume you are the attorney general of the United States and have a devilish desire to persuade as many Americans as possible that they should not trust their government. How would you do that? If your name is Merrick Garland, the answer is a two-fold plan of attack. On one hand, you give the corrupt son of your boss every possible break, bend the rules to protect him and hand him a get-out-of-jail-free pass. The sweetheart deal also serves another purpose. Because you definitely don’t want anyone to know to what extent your boss was involved in the family’s influence-peddling schemes, the son’s guilty plea to fairly minor crimes slams the door

Are Democrats forfeiting the 2024 election? In the Republican Party, Donald Trump has plenty of critics who say he can't win next year. To test that hypothesis, a strong slate of candidates is running as an alternative to him. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former Vice President Mike Pence, Sen. Tim Scott, former governors Nikki Haley and Chris Christie and the rest have their chance to convince voters they can do better. So far, polls show Republicans sticking with Trump -- and show Trump with a fair chance of beating Biden. In national surveys where he trails, Trump is often behind by just a point or two, but national polls actually underestimated Trump's support

Warning: If you believe the economy is hunky-dory, please skip this article. Bidenomics is a complete and utter failure that has led to stagflation in the United States. No amount of sugarcoating can hide the truth. Americans are struggling with high prices. You need $1,000 in earnings today to buy what $862 could buy when Biden took office. Alternatively, if you needed $50K yearly for household expenses before Biden took office, you now need $58K.

Joe Biden is a walking dead man, politically. His approval ratings are in the tank, and a stunning 72 percent of Americans think the country is on the “wrong track,” according to a recent survey. Biden’s cognitive decline is embarrassingly obvious. He is already 80 years old — the oldest president the country has ever had. He would be 86 at the end of a second term, assuming he lived that long, which troubles even his supporters. On top of all of this, he is surrounded by the stench of corruption: House Republican investigators say they have evidence that Biden and his family received $10 million (possibly many millions more)

The House Judiciary Committee is investigating why the FBI subpoenaed the emails of leading Republican congressional staff members. In his most recent appearance before Congress, FBI Director Christopher Wray refused to provide any new information on various scandals but seemed eager to assign past abuses to his predecessor, James Comey. But the dates on these subpoenas do not support Wray’s use of Comey as the department’s sin eater. Wray’s efforts to portray himself as in the dark on many scandals while insisting he is a hands-on administrator cuts against . . . well . . . both Wrays.

The buyers however, didn’t want to pay top dollar for a premature baby, so they demanded he be “immediately terminated.” When Pearson refused the abortion, the couple threatened to sue; when she offered to adopt the child, they ordered her to present a death certificate.

New York City has begun distributing English and Spanish fliers at the southern border warning asylum seekers that there is “there is no guarantee we will be able to provide shelter and services to new arrivals.” NYC Mayor Eric Adams explained the policy on Wednesday by noting simply that “We have no more room in the city.” Roughly 55,000 migrants are currently under the City’s care. Add the homeless population, and the total number of people currently sheltered in city jumps past 105,000. Adams also announced policy changes designed to make space for families with children in NYC housing. The city will now require single adult migrants

The FBI on Thursday blasted two top Republican lawmakers for supporting the release of an internal investigative document that contains unverified allegations that President Joe Biden and his son Hunter accepted bribes from a Ukrainian gas company — claims the White House called "dishonest" and which even some Republicans have cast doubts on. He told people to be peaceful.” This past Sunday, the former president revealed on Truth Social that he would have to appear before a grand jury this week
