“God is Not the Author of Confusion”:
Charges Dropped Against Protester Who

Berks County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed that it is dropping charges against Damon Atkins after the preacher was arrested citing the Bible in protest of an LGBTQ Pride event in Reading, Pennsylvania. The only reason that the charges were dropped is that a third party videotaped the scene and disproved the account of the arresting officer. Ironically, Atkins was reciting 1 Corinthians 14:33 that begins “For God is not the author of confusion.” That role appears to rest with the Reading police, which processed a wildly exaggerated account of the encounter.

The DA dropped the charges after the damage was done. Mr. Atkins was denied his 1st amendment right to free speech by a governmental agency -- the police. No apology. No compensatory damages. No fines or terminations for the cops involved. Yeah, just the very clear message to anyone who goes against the woke agenda in Reading, PA -- you will be stopped at all costs!!!! Lawsuit time!!!!!!

Sgt. McClure, the offending Reading police officer, couldn't kiss the behind of a real Po-lice (accent on first syllable), even if he stood on his daddy's shoulders. Similar words were spoken to me by my Chief, after seeing I was worried about having testified against a very bad fellow officer, circa 1986. In essence my Chief was saying, you didn't out a fellow officer, you did us all a solid by identifying someone posing as Po-lice as a criminal. McClure deserves censure and expulsion from the job at a minimum, but painting law enforcement officers with a broad brush is foolish at best. The relative purest among the police critics on this thread, ought to march on down to their city hall and show the rest of us, especially those of us retired from long careers in law enforcement, how it is supposed to be done.

Florida GOP Rep. Anna Paulina Luna said on Thursday there would be a second attempt to censure California Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff after the first try failed. The House voted on Wednesday to kill Luna's first bill that would have censured Schiff. The vote was 225 to 196, with seven members voting present. Twenty Republicans voted alongside the Democrats to table the resolution. Luna says that she has come to an agreement with the 20 Republicans who voted against her bill. The main difference is that the first bill called for fining Schiff up to $16 million, which is not part of the new version of the bill.

Misinformation, disinformation, and propaganda are military tools as old as war.
