Americans are steadily getting used to giving up their freedoms – and as someone who was forced to flee the oppressive dictatorship in Venezuela, that terrifies me. In Venezuela, even mild criticism of the Maduro regime is treated as a criminal act. For “minor” offenses, you might simply be ridiculed and ostracized by state-controlled propaganda (which is ubiquitous). If you continue to challenge the ruling elite, however, the consequences become more severe – you might be arrested without cause and indefinitely detained, or you might even be subjected to physical torture. That’s the Venezuela I fled as a teenager when I migrated – legally – to the United States. I escaped

I wonder how much longer it will be before we start calling D.C. “Caracas on the Potomac.”

Excellent article with a strong warning to be ignored at your peril. This is NOT the actress on NCIS, she is a conservative activist who escaped the same type of government that Washington is attempting to create right now by using the same tactics that Maduro did and the parallels are very familiar to us, some information can be found here: https://joinouramerica.org/bio/maria-fernanda-bello/ Venezuela could be the preview horror story of what is going on now in America. The only thing that stands between us and them is the Second Amendment. DO NOT yield to any government promises or threats on gun rights as there is no such thing as "common sense gun control."

Most "leaders" across the globe are driven by lust for power and wealth. Anything that interferes with that is dealt with as a threat. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We have not the leaders to fight. We are a united opposition with Trump being our only hope. Obama took the military, the media, the levers of the political apparatus. There is no DDay invasion landing on our shores to liberate us. No air support like the bay of pigs.

The Bidens ‘Coerced’ Burisma To Pay
$10 Million In Bribes, Says Credible FBI Source

Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky wasn’t far from the mark when he said it would take 10 years to unravel the complex payment path that led to Joe Biden. The Bidens allegedly “coerced” a foreign national to pay them $10 million in bribes, according to individuals familiar with the investigation into the FBI’s handling of the FD-1023 confidential human source report. What, if anything, agents did to investigate these explosive claims remains unknown, however, with sources telling The Federalist the FBI continues to stonewall.

"The only good thing about it is that it's driving my poll numbers way up," said former president Donald J. Trump in a speech last Saturday to the Georgia Republican Party convention. There, and in a similar speech to the North Carolina GOP a few hours later, Trump was rapturously greeted as he framed his federal indictment as the latest installment in a political witch hunt that's been underway since he declared his first presidential candidacy in 2015. Even as liberal and Never Trumper Republican pundits gleefully calculated the number of years the former president could spend behind bars if convicted, the second indictment has merely done what all Trump's

Progressive lawmakers are once again calling on President Joe Biden to declare a climate emergency, which would give him sweeping new executive powers to do pretty much whatever he wants. It is just one more example of how progressives, who are constantly lecturing the country about the threats to democracy, are eager to ignore the democratically elected members of Congress — and the U.S. Constitution — in order to get their way. According to Bloomberg, “An emergency declaration by President Joe Biden would unlock sweeping executive powers, including blocking crude oil exports and placing other limits on fossil fuels.”

With former President Donald Trump criminally indicted, America, once the beacon of democracy, has crossed the Rubicon. With the administration’s weaponization of our now dual system of justice under President Biden, our nation is headed straight to Pakistani fascist hell. The parallels between former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and Mr. Trump are indeed frightening. Like Mr. Trump, Mr. Khan ran as a populist economic nationalist. Victorious, Mr. Khan immediately came under attack from deep state elements in the Pakistani government, including a powerful military — and he was ousted in April 2022. Fearful Mr. Khan might rise again in the next election, Pakistan’s equivalent of America’s FBI arrested Mr. Khan

A Starbucks regional manager won a $25.6 million verdict Friday after she accused the corporation of firing her for being White in response to a national backlash over the arrest of two Black men at one of its Philadelphia cafes. A New Jersey federal jury decided in favor of Shannon Phillips, who sued Starbucks in 2019 over allegations of racial bias and discrimination, according to court filings. It took the eight-member panel nearly five hours to award $25 million in punitive damages and $600,000 in compensatory damages to Phillips, determining that her skin color played a decisive role in her termination.

The House of Representatives on Wednesday voted against the idea of censuring and condemning Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., for insisting that former President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. In a 225-196 vote, lawmakers decided to set aside the censure resolution against Schiff, effectively killing it and preventing a vote on passage. The resolution, introduced by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., was opposed by 20 Republicans as two other GOP lawmakers voted "present" along with five Democrats. The resolution was known to be on shaky ground with some Republicans. One expected "no" vote, Rep. Tom Massie, R-Ky., said he opposed the idea of a fine against Schiff

President Trump spoke Tuesday night from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey after pleading not guilty to federal charges for mishandling classified documents. "Today, we witnessed the most evil and heinous abuse of power in the history of our country...A corrupt sitting president had his top political opponent arrested on fake and fabricated charges...This is called election interference." "I had every right to have these documents," Trump said. "The prosecutor in the case, I will call it our case, is a thug. I've named him Deranged Jack Smith."

With the arraignment of Donald Trump in Miami, Department of Justice (DOJ) special counsel Jack Smith is pushing forward with a historic criminal prosecution that could result in a terminal prison sentence for the 76-year-old former president and, at least for now, the leading Republican candidate in the 2024 election. This also is the six-month anniversary of the appointment of another special counsel … Robert Hur. In the company of better-known appointees like Robert Mueller, John Durham and Smith, Hur is the prosecutorial version of the missing Beatle. He was appointed on Jan. 12 and then seemingly vanished.

If America were truly a mentally healthy nation, the popular culture would be bursting with Banana Boats and deviously sarcastic Calypso singers. And they’d be mocking President Joe Biden for transforming America into his favorite ice cream flavor as he aims his (our?) government at his political rival. The flavor? Biden Banana Republic. Later of course comes the other novelty, the inevitable Democrat Banana Split along race/gender lines with the country cleaving into jagged pieces, allowing China to send her navy to “protect” our shores from unspecified aggression. But not yet. Not yet.

Former President Donald Trump has been indicted for illegally storing and hiding classified documents. As conservative radio host Steve Gruber describes it, the “bananafication” of our republic continues apace. There are three reasons every American — even those of us not supporting Trump’s 2024 campaign — should find this further assault on the former president repugnant. First, it reinforces the view, shared by many conservatives, that our government delivers a two-tiered system of justice — one for people on the right and another for those on the left.

Earlier this year, Ryan announced that if the former president is the Republican candidate in 2024, he will not go to the party's convention, to be held in Milwaukee, this July. Ryan is from Wisconsin. It should also be noted that in October 2016, Ryan declared that he will not campaign for, nor defend, Mr. Trump, then the GOP presidential candidate.
