First, the Temecula Valley Unified School District board president called Harvey Milk a “pedophile” while attempting to ban from the district’s curriculum a book that mentioned the gay activist and onetime San Francisco supervisor.
Joseph Komrosky’s efforts were successful, and the material was removed from the district’s social studies curriculum last month.
Then, Gov. Gavin Newsom lambasted Komrosky as “ignorant” for his “offensive” comments regarding Milk.“This isn’t Texas or Florida,” Newsom tweeted on Saturday. “In the Golden State, our kids have the freedom to learn. Congrats Mr. Komrosky you have our attention. Stay tuned.”
Now, Komrosky has fired back at Newsom.

Truth is forbidden in California schools by Dems.
Milk was NOT an example for children - except a bad example.

This article, and others that have been posted on other California cities put the lie to the comments about Caliornia’s (big state) being Sodom and Gomorra. The current “management’ in Sacramento (Newsom) may be a Great Satan, but the grassroots people throughout the state are far from representing what those who are ignorant about our state keep spouting.

Re #3, I understand your point, and don't disagree, and yet these "Great Satans" keep getting elected statewide.
It appears that the majority of California voters are supporting the Sodom and Gomorah side of things, sad to say. Born in California, still have family and friends in this beautiful state - but nothing could make me live there any more. My next family visit is this fall.

#4 understands numbers. Anyone questioning our elections should go to California Secretary of State Voter Registrations. Check out how the registration numbers keep us subject to a Democrat majority (not a 51% majority, BTW). That and weak Republican candidates. Check out also the total number of residents in our state and compare them to yours.
I am a native Californian who has been in almost every state in the Continental US and Hawaii, and lived eighteen instructive months in Seattle. At one tiime I turned down a lucrative executive job in Texas after having visited there on numerous business trips. I would not consider moving anywhere. I am disappointed in Republicans who would move rather than stay and fight, turning tail and making a run for it rather than standing for their home. Those who came from elsewhere and have done a runner don’t count.

California is also one of the first victims of the Cloward-Priven experiments in the slow "progressive" takeover of our government structures. It has been a decades-long slide into the cess pool of communism. Those of you fleeing to other possible "red" states should not be so smug. Look at what is happening in Texas with the persecution of Attorney General Paxton. Is Austin really a "conservative" state's capital city? Hey, Californians who refugeed to Arizona...what about that new governor of yours, Katie Hobbs? Ohio is one of those square states in the middle, what happened to East Palestine? Tennessee is supposed to be conservative, we still haven't seen the manifesto of the Nashville trans shooter.
I guess it makes it easier to throw darts at California than to take a serious look at the slow, seeping communist takeover in your own state. We are a nation of 50 states. We are all in this together. Support us to make California Golden again so we can all Make America Great Again!

I have never forgotten the comment by a woman who said she lived in Texas:
“I have never been to California, but I know I wouldn’t like it…”
Some minds snapped shut long, long ago.

I don't know much about Harvey Milk, except that he was killed by San Francisco supervisor Dan White, whose defense was that he was depressed because he ate too many Twinkies. That said, if Harvey Milk accomplished anything admirable in his entire life, it wasn't because he was gay. It may have been in spite of his being gay.

Yay, Mr. Komrosky. Milk was no hero. Our kids don’t need his “history”.
