House Republicans Target Gas Stove Regulations,
Power of Administrative State

Original Article

After repeatedly failing to overturn Biden administration regulations in existing legislation, House Republicans are taking the next steps in their attempt to exert authority over the administrative state. Lawmakers discussed a series of bills intended to reach those ends during a June 5 Rules Committee hearing. “The Constitution articulates where the laws are made. It’s here in Congress,” said Committee Chair Tom Cole (R-Okla.) in his opening remarks. Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.), by contrast, said the proposals show that the House Republican majority “once again prioritizes right-wing culture wars over the American people.” Right-leaning ideology prioritizes individual liberty over the government intervention preferred by the left.

Good article, but McConnell, Cornyn, McCarthy, MTG, and Rona McDaniel show that the Republican establishment is still in control of the party. If Trump wins, he will have to keep his back against the wall. Every effort will be made by the Rino and Democrats to keep Trump off the ballot. The general election will be election fraud, not election integrity.

I have 4 gas stoves, 2 working at the moment, and they will continue to work unless my government stops gas. Then they will be propane stoves.

My goodness fellow LDotters, could you help me out here. I seem to have misplaced the section of the U.S. Constitution that covers gas stoves. I know its in there somewhere, cause our government wouldn't be sticking their noses into my kitchen over this. Must be in between the light bulb clause and the CAFE standards.../s I do not think we vote our way out this.

SO who knew a nameless Bureaucracy could outlaw something on a Whim. Time to take ALL the power away from these Commies! ALL Bureaucratic Rules/Policies MUST be approved by House/Senate with a 2/3 Majority and Signed by President! This will end the Deep State's ILLEGAL POWER GRABS!

Outlawing gas stoves in the kitchen is just the beginning. If leftists get this accomplished, next will be outlawing gas grills, the green egg and outdoor BBQing. No more Juy 4th cookouts or meat. Just kale sandwiches, weeds and green powder drinks.

I think this unconstitutional. "House Republicans are taking the next steps in their attempt to exert authority over the administrative state." No representation allowed in these phony reaching woke ignoramusses. Too many regs are coming out of the administrative state and most get put into law and we don't know any thing until too late. Light bulbs. "water savers" on appliances. My dog can relieve herself faster than my sink pouring water. The gas stove garbage is the latest and the pubbies better stop this manure...now.

Last year, CTH outlined a four-part series of articles going deep into the background of the DOJ-FBI raid of President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, along with the outline into why it was important to them. It doesn’t matter how many different legal angles and Deep State justifications the DOJ attempts to deploy in order to divert away from what took place; the background of who, what, when and why they raided Mar-a-Lago will not change.(snip)It is important to remember, the Presidential Records Act –the presented pretext for the document conflict– is not a criminal statute. Andrew Weissmann, Norm Eisen and fellow travelers, wrote an internal prosecution memo for current Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco to use on behalf of their conscripted Special Counsel, Jack Smith. [SEE 186-page Guidance MEMO HERE] Essentially, what we are witnessing is what skilled researchers would expect to see. The Lawfare operatives, represented by Weissmann, Eisen and company, are all ideological agents connected directly to the anti-Trump efforts. I use the term “Lawfare” to describe their general group association, as well as the actual organization funded by the Brookings Institute that carries the same name. And for precisely that reason, the Ukrainian government has considered destroying it. In December, the Washington Post quoted a Ukrainian general saying his men had fired American made rockets at the dam’s floodgate as a test strike. So really, once the facts start coming in, it becomes much less of a mystery what might have happened to the dam.

Noonan argues that electing Donald Trump again would destroy the Republican party. Peggy may be right, and I hope that she is. Trump’s success in 2016 was, in large part, due to the way that he took the mechanisms of the Republican political machine and used them to secure victory. He ran a third-party-style campaign within the structure of the Republican party. The “party” as a corporate entity was against him, but grassroots Republicans in name and philosophy were all in for candidate Donald Trump.
