House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said he will begin the process of holding FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress, despite viewing and being briefed by bureau officials on the subpoenaed document alleging Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme on Capitol Hill Monday. (snip) Despite the accommodation, Comer said Monday that the FBI is still not in compliance with the subpoena to turn over the physical document to the committee. "At the briefing, the FBI again refused to hand over the unclassified record to the custody of the House Oversight Committee," Comer said. "And we will now initiate contempt of Congress hearings this Thursday."

Yeah, that's what I expected. Wray and his RAT-infested FBI-cronies just waved the paper around like a fan dancer outside of a navy port on payday. As one congresscritter I heard over the weekend said, he wanted to also see a nice big thick investigative file to go along with that 1023 form to show that the FBI had actually investigated this claim. Something tells me that they didn't even requisition a file folder from the storeroom for this one.

Good on Chairman James Comer. Finally we are finding some republicans in the US Capitol who seem to understand that playing defense rarely scores--and they did a pool job of playing defense for the past few decades. As the old adage in hockey states: You can't score a goal if you don't take a shot. Those of us who have rather disappointed with the lack of spine on the part of the republicans ought to give credit to this effort, and find it refreshing for a change.

And Wray won't be affected by this in the slightest, in any way. No legal or financial consequences.

We just are not as stupid and naive as we used to be, unfortunately for Comer and colleagues. The House has been leaking this contempt threat for two weeks. Now, they are “beginning the process.” Get with it! The Democrats take a couple of days and that baby is signed, sealed and delivered.

Doesn't matter, not one of them gives a rat's a** about this country. They are communists who hate this country have total control over two branches of the government, the DOJ, the FBI, the CIA, the media, the IRS and the voting systems of this country. When has a communist democrat been indicted or gone to jail. Never. These are sick pathetic commies who laugh at this country. And, it's gonna take someone with a lot of guts to change it.

No single individual, not even Trump, can be effective against the totality of how the radical left has corrupted and co-opted our key institutions. It'll take 'the people,' especially those who only contribute phrases like "wimpy Republicans" to address the latest outrage. The complacency of the people is far worse than the timid representatives we elect. Until the people show courage to face and vanquish our real enemies, nothing in our political culture can ride in to the rescue. The more people believe that a politician can save them, the more likely they are to go down the tubes, along with their once great country. Do the leftists hate America and will act to destroy it more than the otherwise normal Americans and our self-professed patriots love America and will act to preserve it? True MAGA efforts require every day Americans to do the heavy lifting and not cower in fear behind an aging politician, trotted out to carry the fight on behalf of the every day American people.
