A lecturer of Native American and Indigenous Studies at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), Charmayne "Charli" Champion-Shaw, created a campus hallway display entitled, “Understanding Christian Privilege,” which was showcased from at least October through the end of the 2022-2023 school year. (snip) The professor suggested that the concept of Manifest Destiny “drove white people’s racist and genocidal entitlement to take over North America for their own.”
“If murdering people and forcing them to commit to your religion while you take over their lands and try your hardest to stamp out their culture isn’t the apex of privilege, I don’t know what else is,” she wrote.

Like the Indians never attacked each other or made the members of other tribes slaves.

The Christian work ethic and mindset led to the most dominant technical, medical, industrial and military culture on the planet, despite being a relatively small percentage of the planet's population. What they've given the world is a gift but yeah, pretend it's a bad thing, it that's what gets you through the night.

The Comanches nearly exterminated the Apaches....the Iroquois conquered the Hurons.....and back it goes to pre-Columbian times in North America. Every Native American knows this, including the racist professor, Charmayne "Charli" Champion-Shaw. What an absolute hootthis was to read! Oh, if only I could have been there in 1626 when the Dutch bought Manhattan Island for 60 guilders from the Lenape tribe.

Faith is not a privilege. It is available to all, a gift from the divine. Not a social construct or a government intiiated fear and follow psyops. It transcends race, gender, class, status, wealth and anything else Marxists use to divde. It is the glue that binds every free society. As opposed to communist and elitist tyranny.
Which professor teaches that course?

First of all it was colonialism, not Christianity, that drove the conquest of the Americas. Spreading the Gospel was just a marketing point.
Native Americans were not the first people to be overrun by a technologically superior civilization. However, they are among the very few to have been spared extermination or enslavement and allowed to maintain their own culture to this day.
"Charli" is just the latest to play Americans on their good consciences, sense of fair play, and deep pockets.

Gee. Maybe we can ask the good professor to comment on Islam and Islam's teachings about conquering and subjugation of non-Muslims?

Well maybe Lenin Stalin Hitler or the Emperor of Japan would have treated you folks ok huh Charli? Or maybe your fellow "indigenous " neighbors would not have raided your tribe, raped and enslaved the ones they didn't scalp. We white Christian men were so bad your sorry corrupt racist bigoted a$$$$ ended up in some Ivy League indoctrination center mouthing off about how bad you have it. What a disgusting ugly wench.

One can only hope it didn't overshadow the “Understanding 'Illusory Superiority' Privilege” display.
Or the “Understanding 'Dilettante' Privilege” display.
Or the “Understanding 'Gasbag' Privilege” display.

I take issue with "Charli's" assertion that Christians can worship freely. During the lockups churches were closed to prevent the spread of the alleged virus. But oddly no one was concerned about the virus being spread in casinos. Gambling is A-OK; worshipping not so much. In Canada (that bastion of freedom) JT had pastors arrested for conducting services.
My local paper regularly run opinion pieces
about the "real danger"of Christian Nationalism
and how Christians are focused on setting up a totally Christian government etc...... Of course, it isn't Constitutional to promote one religion over another but my paper never lets facts get in the way in their desire to pit one group of people against another.
